Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar - Vancouver
Absolutely fantastic! The view was great, server was friendly, and food was everything I hoped for!
Food was outstanding! Waitress joked that I didn’t lick the plate. Seriously, I wanted to! It was that good! I had a pear and roasted beets salad, mushroom penne, and shared the Drunken Doughnuts for dessert. My only complaint was that they didn’t offer free refills on the doughnut holes! We’ll be back!
My first visit...have tried several time. Since I was having company that I wanted to show off our waterfront to I made reservations 5 days in advance (not even thinking I had to ask for a view). Since I had never been there I assumed it was all one room. We were seated out where people were walking past us in the entry area...NO view or ambiance. I was a little embarrassed. The food was very good.
It was too loud to have a business meeting. I would not hold a business meeting there again. But the food and service is outstanding.
We took my mother to twigs for her 86th birthday. Wish I could remember our servers name… She was great! Food was good, and everyone saying happy birthday to my mom. She was thrilled! Desserts were especially good. We also liked the outdoor indoor aspect, and the great view of the water.
You would think it easy to scramble eggs and make toast. But unfortunately Twigs performed very poorly for our brunch. It's too bad because it is such a delightful setting. Will not return for brunch.
We recently moved to the area, and have been trying nearby restaurants in the Camas, Vancouver and Portland areas. Other than Feast316 which is quite expensive, this is our favorite restaurant. Service and food were great, and the restaurant is very well decorated. We intend to come by sometime for lunch to see more of the view over the water.
Would not go back. Too many better restaurants in the area
We came to dinner with my daughter and fiancé while visiting from Virginia. We had one wheelchair patron in our party, and were treated appropriately and comfortably. Our dinner was served well attentively by our waiter after drinks. We had crab appetizers and tuna sashimi that was most excellent. Mac and cheese, beet salads, and shrimp and mushroom pasta all filled us up. I regretted that they did not have cappuccino. The bill was reasonable, and the meal was worth the expense.
Outstanding service but we were overcharged for our wine. Food was good. Friendly and attentive.
Beautiful location. Love the decor with bottles. We sat by the window and we had a great time. Service was great and they kept bringing drinks. I recommend this restaurant to everybody
Wonderful view and delicious food! Great service.
Nice view and food was good!
Our visit for brunch hosting friends was overall wonderful! We had some limitations physically for seating which your staff were very helpful with. That said we ended up in the “noise room” with a large group. We asked your staff if we had another options...they were very sincere in their efforts to help. Just then the large party left and all was right with the world. Your staff repeatedly checked on us...all in all it was good!
We enjoyed our dinner at Twigs....our server was great!
Great food and beautiful location. Brought some family from out of town here for dinner and they were very impressed.
Great place and good food. We plan on going back soon.
A great place to have dinner as well as a perfect venue to entertain out if town guests!
Our waiter took a really long time to get to us. The food was not that tasty for the price. Only thing that was good was portions of the dishes. Would I come here again? No, frankly.
Hostess staff were very understanding as we asked for another table since we were directed to a table backed right up to the cooking & serving area. It was not only loud but the music inside was also too loud. Not a good set up, especially for diners. Our table outside was good & waitress was fabulous! We were entertaining a guest from out of town. Excellent overall experience! PS - Luv being able to reserve online.
Servers were unhappy because it was hot outside.
Martinis were warm - maybe the glasses had just come out of the dishwasher? When told, the server shrugged her shoulders and said - Bummer
We sat outside, which was a treat.
Our server was fabulous, and kept us updated. Her name is Sitarih.
We had a weekend lunch at Twigs. The location and atmosphere on the new Vancouver West Waterfront is great. Our server did an excellent job and was attentive and polite. The food was a little expensive but not horrendous and the quality made up for some of that. I would recommend this to a friend.
Excellent service from the time of reservations to seating.
We enjoyed the menu selection and the friendly professional service. Our server was amazing!
Great location and good food! The outside patio is awesome on a nice day, right on the water.
I was very pleased that we could reserve patio seating.
Had a great time, the patio is right on the waterfront, it’s not terribly overpriced. Very good ambiance and the view from the patio is amazing. Would definitely go here again!
The hostesses are horrible here. They treat people as if they are a bother and are incredibly rude. The food is wonderful and the wait staff are fantastic but I am tired of spending so much to be treated like a nuisance by the hostess. Luckily Wild Fin is next door and are always welcoming.
Love coming here! Something for every taste and budget! The view is spectacular!
Crackers crushed under table. Waitstaff dressed a bit sloppy. Food has gone downhill since opening.
Our waiter, grant was great. Beverages delivered on time, and he was always moving. Great personality, good food, and great view of the river.
My only disappointment was that the loyalty card was uninitiatable, so no points.
The food was excellent and the server was the best!
The burger I ordered seemed to be crusted in salt—to the point where it was almost inedible. The location is great—but the food is barely average and was very disappointing. There are way too many other options in downtown Vancouver and even the Waterfront for anyone to sit down to this kind of meh.
We had a gift card and the Bridgeport one closed so we had to go to Vancouver. The appetizers were good. My sister and I had the chicken burger, but they didn't toast the buns so they fell apart after two bites. My daughter liked her pizza. My husband did not like the fish & chips. It said lightly battered and the batter was thick and greasy. My Dirty Goose Martini was not that good either. The server was attentive and the view is great, but we won't go back.
Food is poor quality.
It’s hit or miss. Loved them when they started in Spokane so was so excited to have them on the new Vanvouver waterfront. But it’s been unpredictable at best over the past 10 - 15 tries. Yesterday was a major fail: our brunch arrived almost a full hour after we ordered, cold, and long after tables that were seated well after us came and went. The poor server tried to make up for it, and was obviously quite good at her job, but the kitchen was just having a completely off day that she could not fully compensate for. A disappointment for sure.
Food came out cold for half our party and took an hour... drinks took 30 + minutes and they didn't offer to discount or comp anything. 4 of us had 1 brunch entree and 2 drinks and paid $200. NOT worth it AT ALL.
Food was amazing. Service was quite slow, they were very busy so it was somewhat understandable. Atmosphere, food, and price was spot on and we will definitely be back.
We were a party of 4 and all four dishes we ordered were fabulous. We definitely will go to Twigs again and recommend it.
Fish and chips was average. There was a piece of plastic on my plate. Waitress took back yo kitchen and explained it was a piece of the packaging the fish comes in. She comped my meal and dessert which was very nice. I would go back as she was very professional and saved the day.
