Food was average and not worth the price. As we entered the restaurant there was a drunk patron that was out of control. I had to tell the waitresses to get her out of the restaurant as she was insulting me. The manager never came to our table and apologize. With the decreased volume of people going to restaurants right now you’d think the manager would have taken the time. Our waitress was so sweet and accommodating.
Love the decor and location. The fig & cheese flatbread was great. Along with my cocktail. We sat at the bar instead of the section I requested on the reservation, because a tabletop was not open. Service was standoffish, but efficient. Looking around, most of the staff seemed underwhelmed nor interested. This was my first time here, I will give them another try to see if the attitude towards guests is more inviting and warm.
Nice place for a social gathering being right on the river. Food is very good and staff is timely, friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating on the river-walk is awesome when weather permits. This place does get noisy at peak times.
Good place, food is consistent. Good location. We go here often.
Food and Service was great - we enjoyed out visit to Twiggs!
The fish tacos were delicious.
Beautiful view of the river.
Great service !
The service was not great. It took a while to get our drinks. I asked our waiter a question about the menu and he never came back with an answer. He kind of awkwardly lurked around but rarely interacted with us. The food was good, though. A bit overpriced for what it was.
Expensive for average food. Fish was overcooked. A bit loud. Excellent service.
Good food and good service
Great food. Very active, energetic gathering place. Their signature burger was very tasty and the is Osso Bucco most enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back.
this was my third time here, overall pretty good...
My friend and I each had orders with the ciabatta bread( sooo dry it just fell apart when picked up)
I also had the beet and pear salad, would've been good however was swimming in dressing and had small cubes of raw beets and only 1 small slice of pear(too bad as it was tasty)
Love the ambiance, service was good, food is just ok...same as the previous times
Great food and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.
The place lived up to my expectations in every way! It was fancy, delicious, and actually filling (we know how fancy restaurants like to only give a little bit of food).
Everything we ordered was tasty and had good proportions. The service was top notch. Our waitress, Aiko, was the best I've had in a long time. Give her a raise!
The place was expensive, but I'm not complaining as I knew that ahead of time. I loved my experience there. Highly recommended to others if they want a special night out
Food was fantastic, great atmosphere, love this place.
Great waitress, food is always good. It did arrive a bit cold and the calamari was a bit underdone. We sent it back and they go it right. Even went the extra mile to pick out the tentacles my wife dislikes.
Atmosphere is great. Service outstanding. In my opinion the food is overpriced, my $42.00 filet was salty. Almost unbearably, found myself taking each bite with the whipped potatoes to cut the salt. I would go again but not for dinner just for apps, drinks, and the service.
Love this place..we will definitely come back. Lots of options.
We love Twigs. The staff is always welcoming, the food is delicious and they are also kiddo friendly which is very nice. We’ve never had a bad experience.
My wife and I have been a couple of times now and find it very enjoyable. The view is awesome and our service is always been 5 star. The food has been delicious and presented with a delightful flare. The one exception i have to my five star rating for value was my appetizer oysters. It was presented on a huge plate with three oyster the size of my thumbnail and the size included batter on them. Now if this was four or five dollars I wouldn't be writing this but it was triple that price. Well I always say live and learn. We will definitely come back because we have loved our over all experience at Twigs Bistro.
Valentines Day lunch. Great menu and fresh items. Our server Shawna was fantastic. Twigs has become our go to place
This riverfront restaurant is an immaculate, upscale eatery with first class food. My wife and I have now eaten there twice and have found the food to be perfectly prepared and nicely presented. The wait staff are professional but welcoming. The prices for the food are slightly higher than some competitors, but the quality is equal to the best in the area.
Waterfront setting can’t be beat. Food and service was good but not outstanding. My salmon entree was overcooked and our server offered to have another order prepared. I didn’t have to wait too long and the second piece of salmon was quite rare. Not the best piece of salmon I’ve had but was decent. Fried calamari starter was tasty but quite limp and oily. Our first time here so not sure if food is uneven here or if the kitchen was having an off night. We expect to pay higher prices at any waterfront restaurant and Twig’s does seem to be pricier than other local restaurants. Our bill came with a double charge for the salmon entree and we had to ask the server for a corrected bill.
Some of the best food I've eaten in Vancouver, and in general. Definitely the best old fashioned and the best cheesecake I've ever had. Everything was excellent and I'll be back asap.
The menu is different, lots of things I liked are gone. Prices went up also.
I was at Twigs once before and food was great, but this time I was disappointed with the bland flavors and tiny portions (for non-Happy Hour food). Service was excellent, the place has a fabulous view, so not sure if we just hit an "off" night for the food.
Great place, can actually hear each other to talk, great food and Sam was s great server
Delicious food, friendly, helpful staff, great place for a business lunch
A very nice location, looking out over the Columbia River. Very noisy if busy, and they are usually busy and popular. Reservations recommended.
Food is good, service was outstanding.
Stunning view of the Columbia River, overlooking the Cable Stay Pier on the Vancouver Waterfront! The setting is perfect for professional business meetings, with cuisine on par with the ambiance, that is absolutely scrumptious! My dining companions thoroughly enjoyed the halibut tacos and the Twig's specialty Angus beef burger. Tea service was also a worthy note. We finished with the Sticky cookie! View fantastic; food wonderful; ambiance top notch...I will certainly return to continue exploring the menu of Twigs Bistro!
Food was decent-not horrible but not omg great, you know? Feel we paid way more than our dinner was actually worth. However, we do want to go back and see if casual fare (burgers/wraps) are better value than our "fine dining" experience. Our server was an absolute doll, she was very attentive without being overbearing and pushy. Inside was nice, but nothing extraordinary.
Food was fantastic. Service great. Loved that there was no hard selling. The place next door was awful for noise and oversell so I would pass on Wild Fin and do Twigs instead.
We were somewhat disappointed. We went on a Monday night. Not crowded. We had reservations and noted it was for a birthday but we were not seated by the window/view, even tho there were tables empty. The service was very good. I had fish and chips. The fish was over-done, the batter was tasteless. The fries were good and the slaw good. My date had crab mac and cheese. It was so smokey flavored you couldn't taste the crab AND the crab was not Dungeness. Very disappointing. And the portion not big for a main course with no side. The prices are at the high end for the casualness of the restaurant. We will try Twigs one more time and see before we say NO to this restaurant.
Service was mediocre. The food was good
Tables are way to close together, crammed in. Food not worth the price. Our reservations ran about 15 min late. The gluten free menu online for the Vancouver location did not match the menu at the restaurant. Great location though...
The flat bread and pizza crust must of been the same. Bland, dry , tasted like crackers. Soup lot of flavor but the temp needed to be hotter. It was only warm. Not enough space between tables and chairs to squeeze through. Tables by the fire place too close together.
Good news my potato crusted fish with lobster sauce was excellent!! Hannah our waitress was a delight, good at meeting our needs and her personality was perfect.
Great Brunch! We had a party of 6 celebrating a birthday. 5 out of 6 of us ordered off the Brunch menu and all were happy with our meals. Good size portions, tasty food. The biscuits with preserves and honey butter was outstanding. Huge flaky delicious biscuits. Yumm! Bonus: you can also order off the lunch menu if you aren’t a brunch fan. One of the better options for Brunch in town!
I just got together with my friend and it was really nice, and perfect .
I had a reservation for 5 people, but when we showed up they only grabbed 4 menus/silverware. When I reminded them there were 5 of us they looked surprised and then sat us at a 4-top with an extra chair stuck on the end. Definitely not enough room for 5 adults to eat, and as a bonus we were right next to the party room with a loud group in it and they didn’t close the doors. Hopefully this was just a 1 time issue since we love this restaurant and have never had any problems before. The food and our server were great as always.
