Comfortable atmosphere, creative cocktails, very well prepared and presented food. Great value.
came in for the bonus points , food was bland, Duck Confit flavorless, scallops fair.
Food was excellent as was service. They asked if it was a special occasion but completely forgot about it, which wasn’t a big deal. I’m glad We visited in off season, it would probably get noisy when busy.
Eduardo provided great service!
Our server was outstanding. The food was great and we had two teenagers, one who isn't an adventurous eater. There is something for everyone on the menu but it isn't overwhelming. One of our go-to restaurants in La Quinta.
I use this restaurant for casual lunches with clients. It's always dependable and my guests are impressed.
Grimes and Tori were a phenomenal team. Very efficient.
Amazing wedding anniversary here with my wife while staying at La Quinta. Our waiter Javier took excellent care of us and we were treated to a complimentary dessert and champagne as well! Definitely recommend this restaurant if visiting the resort or La Quinta, CA.
The resort itself is so beautiful and this restaurant is a further reflection of that ambiance. The food is always good and creative. The service is attentive and always there when you need them.
Twenty Six is a great neighborhood gem that is consistently above par. Food, service and pricing are all good. Our favorite waiters are: Erik, Javier, and Julio, with special mention for Gilbert, too. We always feel welcomed and remembered... almost like part of a family!
The food and service were both five star at the dining room and room service.
We were very disappointed with the dining room remodel. The chairs were uncomfortable and too small. The table was too short and flimsy. For the high standards of the meal and service, the ambience was subpar and resembled a food court.
Highly recommend upgrading the dining tables and chairs. (Miss the booths)
It is a causal affair so, it was nice to come as we were as we had been traveling.
Very clean and contemporary decor, great drinks and the food was very good.
Nothing too wild, good size portions and very nice wait service. I am sure we will go there again. It is part of the La Quinta Resort. Love the whole property.
The staff at Twenty 6 are amazing. Very professional and knowledgeable.
We have been fortunate to have breakfast here several times. Never have we been disappointed.
If you get the chance, read the Benedict history on the menu - it is fascinating.
The Tschirky classic Eggs Benedict is our favorite. The hollandaise is perfect!
The Blueberry Hotcakes will melt in your mouth. The blueberries
are huge, plump & juicy. The thick sliced pecanwood smoked bacon is amazing.
The beautiful fruit platter with banana date bread is a must.
We enjoy sitting outside. Great view of LaQuinta's beautiful grounds with Mountains in the background.
Dinner was just as amazing,
We started off with the crab cake, best we have ever had anywhere!
The Spinach Beet Salad was fresh & delicious.
We chose the Daily special -
Braised short ribs with Polenta. The ribs were so tender, the sauce was amazing.
We were fortunate to speak with Chef Sergio Gazca, who told us the crab cake is all crab and no breading.
Nice place. It was oddly empty when we arrived, but the food was quite good.
The food is excellent with a creative menu. Great salads and great staff. A really enjoyable environment. While we didn't indulge in desserts, several of them sounded fabulous!
Outstanding menu selections. Creative cocktail selections. Excellent service.
The restaurant has been redesigned to enhance the bar. The service was a bit slow, but very courteous and concerned. It must be said that this is not a quiet place for any type of special occasion or date. There were kids running around everywhere (not the restaurant's fault...) and it was very loud.
The food was very good !! The Indio corn is a very tasty side and the Mac and Cheese has been reformulated to use larger noodles than before. We both has steak (ribeye and filet) which were very good cuts and prepared very well (medium-rare and rare!). Everything was prepared very nicely.
The food will bring us back, but we may sit in the bar next time so the noise level is more expected.
Great ambiance. Horrible service and subpar food. The server forgot my wine and brought it with dinner. Then got the dinner order wrong and my husband and son had to wait for they’re meal and we were all done before they got the meal they actually ordered. Food was bland and boring.
Be sure to ask them how they prepare some of their dishes. They do their shrimp cocktail more like a ceviche and I’ve never seen fried calamari that looks like zucchini sticks but there you have it.
Everything was great except drinks were inconsistent. Ordered casa migos anejo margaritas that were weak.
Get your kicks at Twenty-Six
We love going at 6 pm as the music on the Plaza Patio begins at that time. We enjoy a bottle of pinot- noir people watch and listen to the music of the Inca Kings or other individuals. We enjoy the filet mignon with mushroom sauce. The ambiance is to live for- fun festive and very eclectic.
Excellent food & beautiful surroundings! We are locals & go there often when we have family or friends in town. Love the Crab Eggs Benedict! Everything is delicious & the service is excellent!
This was our favorite in the resort. The food was flavorful and wonderful presentation. We will definitely come back when we visit the resort again. Our picture pixels are too big to upload.
Great place, just wish there were booths
We love the food, the service, the ambience and the prices! This is one of our favorite restaurants in the desert, and it never disappoints. Delicious Caesar salad, large enough to share, and tasty chicken flatbread, also large enough to share. Service by Eric was over-the-top, and the warm welcome by Gilbert, both make us want to go there every week. This is definitely a hidden gem in LQ.
Great service and food. Would recommend to friends and family when visiting La Quinta.
Great meal, good times!
Being that this restaurant is located on a Waldorf Astoria property and that average dinner prices were $25-30 per plate (without drinks) one would expect a certain level of accommodation. We were seated quickly and greeted promptly by our server. After our drinks were delivered we did not hear from or see our server again. Our meals were delivered by someone else, we had to flag down the manager for a second drink, never had our bread refilled, never checked on how our food was, we were served before the family next to us (they order spaghetti, scallops and a cheese pizza) and our meal included a pork chop, sat with dirty plates, had to stop another staff member to ask for our bill (and for the table next to us).... it was terrible service all the way around. The food was rather bland. Sometimes service will GO a long way for making up what the food doesn’t deliver on in the overall experience but NOT this time. I do not recommend, nor will I return, here.
Waited 15-20 minutes before receiving menus and 20 minutes before waiter took our drink orders. They were out of the Fried Chicken special by 8PM. Served salad, apps and main course before receiving our drink orders. Hanger steak was tough to cut even with a steak knife and rosemary chicken had unrecognizable pieces of chicken smothered in grain gravy. Wait staff was very nice and polite...but something wasn’t right in the bar and kitchen.
The service was extremely slow. the server knew nothing about the menu or drinks. our water took over 15 minutes to get the the table. we were about to leave because we have a 3 year old but the water finally showed up. very little attention was given to us. would not go back not worth the price..
We had a lovely Easter lunch. We recently had a death in the family and l lifted our spirts. There were several options for dining. Outside where it was lively and active. We chose inside in the back so we could talk.
The food was just "OK", it may be attributable to the fact that we were there on a prime holiday (Easter Sunday). We typically eat at Adobe or Morgans and have had a great experience in both of those locations.
Twenty6 is described on the Waldorf Astoria website as: "This modern American bistro showcases innovative approaches to familiar favorites - using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Kick back in the restaurant and adjoining bar, where the atmosphere is as enjoyable as every dish." In reality Twenty6 is a loud, rowdy sports bar with average food at best.
My partner and I originally wanted to stay at the La Quinta Resort, but chose another hotel since we were booking last minute. I'm sure glad we passed on the La Quinta Resort. What does any of this have to do with my review of Twenty6? Just read on.
My partner and I chose Twenty6 because of the description on the Waldorf Astoria website. Hilton way oversold this place. We started by ordering two bottles of beer, oops they ran out. Okay I guess that can happen, but this is the Waldorf Astoria and it's a Saturday night. Someone isn't doing their job. They brought us a different beer, without asking, and they were opened so I guess they expected us to take their substitution. They did comp the beers, but the experience was subpar.
For an appetizer we chose the crab cake. It was horrible. It didn't taste anything like crab. It was inedible. For dinner I originally wanted a steak, but after the beer and crab cake fiasco I went with a Caesar Salad with steak. I was okay, but the lettuce was wilted. My partner chose a burger which was fine, but not $19 fine.
Lastly all of the food was staged just outside the kitchen right next to a dirty overflowing trash can. Just disgusting.
The service was 5 star plus for the entire evening. From being greeted as we walked in to being thanked as we left.
You will never get better service anywhere’!
The manager Ali is always moving and helping his staff.
He is the best example of leadership you will find
Speaks 5 languages.
This is a restaurant not to miss !
Congratulation to Ali and staff on the best dining experience we have had in America
Very very poor service! We sat there for over 10 minutes without any water is her anyone acknowledging us I had notified the Hostess two times before someone came over to give us water. I am set of the poor service will not return.
Horrible service. Never had that experience before at this establishment. Poorly managed.
First we were a party of 6 and could not make a reservation for 6 on OpenTable at the time we wanted to be seated so our group decided to split into a party of 4 and party of 2 and then we were able to make OpenTable reservations. When we got there we could see that there were tables open that would allow us to all sit together but the hostess rudely insisted that this could not be done and told us our best option was to sit in the bar. We sat in the bar and waited a long time and finally had to flag down a waiter to take our drink order at which point we decided we had better place our dinner order right away rather than wait any longer as it was getting late and our teens were hungry and tired. We waited and waited never seeing our waiter and having him stop by to give us an update. Finally after being there for almost an hour we decided to ask about our food as we noticed people who had ordered after us had already received their meals. Our waiter told us he would send the manager over. The manager never appeared. And our waiter continued to hide out and avoid our table since he knew were not happy. 70 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant we received our meal. When I’m on vacation I’m not in a rush but would expect to be served my food in a timely manner with the hotel restaurant understanding and respecting that their guests would like to relax and have a good time. In the end they did reduce our check by 30% to apologize for the wait but this was not a great dining experience and I think people staying at La Quinta might want to consider other dining options because this happened to us on a night that didn’t even seem that busy. Service was a big disappointment from the hostess to our waiter to the restaurant manager. I think La Quinta should be able to do better.
Great restaurant, food was terrific and service was the best that we had at La Quinta Resort, looking forward to staying here and dining here again!!
We love Twenty six at 6 at night as that is when the music starts.
Absolutely delicious food and the best waiter we have ever had! Went back twice in 3 days it was so good!
