I had the spinach and beet salad. It was very good excellent light dressing. Just wish there were more beets
Also had mussels: mouthwatering and a very nice portion
My husband had the special fried chicken which he loved Yummy breading and the best mashed potatoes. Just like homemade
The service was awful! We were seated immediately and given a menu. We then sat for almost 20 minutes with nothing, no water, bread, offer for a cocktail. We were left alone. Finally someone brought water. 10 minutes later, now 30 into our visit. The waiter took our drink order only. Believe me were ready to order food. No exaggerating, it was over 20 minutes before our drinks arrived. After slightly over an hour he came and took our food order. Yup, nearly another 30 minutes before we received our salads. Hot food came 2 minutes later. We sent it back to stay warm because our salads literally just arrived. The server realized that we had just received our salads and offered to hold our dinners. Long story short we were over 2 hours for a quick bite. Waiting for water in the desert is silly, but having to wait so long for each subsequent item was inexcusable. Food was ok but not anything special. Won't go back as staff was truly oblivious to us as customers and guests of the resort.
This is a very nice restaurant in the La Quita area near the tennis tournament. The outdoor patio was vibrant with a great bar and waterfall. Indoors doesn't look as special as the patio so I would recommend that. It was a beautiful night and the food was great. A bit pricey but that is what you get for this area!
What a great choice for four cousins to get together! The wait staff was over the top wonderful. It felt like we have four personal attendants making sure we were happy with EVERYTHING! Thank you!
Everyone and everything at the La Quinta resort was professional, pleasant, peaceful and perfect. Thank you to the waitstaff, the valets and all who made our dining experience superb
Birthday dinner with a friend. Food was fantastic and they accommodated my requests with no fuss. They even asked if my food allergies were severe enough that cross contamination would be a problem. I’ve never had a restaurant go to this level of detail to make sure I enjoyed my meal. Very refreshing and I will be back! Yum!!
overpriced. Snobby service. Better restaurants in Old Towne La Quinta area
We took house guests to Twenty6 on Sunday. We had reservations for 11:15 bur arrived a little early. No matter - we were given a wonderful table in the patio and had excellent service. This is the second time we have taken guests to Twenty6 and have had excellent food and wonderful service both times.
26 is a solid dinner restaurant, and it is the main breakfast and lunch restaurant at La Quinta
Resort, a very nice resort with a storied history of movie stars in residence and the like. Our food quality was really good. We had roast duck leg and dover sole. Both dishes can be recommended. Javier, our waiter, was excellent. His knowledge of the menu was thourough, and service throughout was of a high order. All in all, a very pleasant evening.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent setting.
I would highly recommend this place for couples and family. First, I would like to say that the Mgr , chef and waiter were the best. They were very professional and friendly. It made my weekend a memorable one.
The food was awesome and the steak was cooked perfectly. The drink was great too.
Wonderful outdoor seating and excellent pasta! Service was excellent!
Really enjoyed our chicken salad over beans and quinoa. Delish
Love this place! Inside was loud so we ate outside. They were very busy, so food took a long time but everything was delicious.
This restaurant is the dinning workhorse of the La Quinta Resort. The only real breakfast alternative on the resort grounds - and the breakfast is good, with prices naturally matching its convenience. However, we had reserved seats for a New Year's dinner. The reservation was honored in a timely matter. The wine was on part with restaurants in the area - overpriced and of a so-so quality for most bottles in the $50-75/bottle range. The food was just OK for a a prix-fixe of $79/pps dinner. The appetizers (we had scallops with wild mushrooms) were good but what chef is compelled to put all that the on a bed of mashed potatoes? The fish was good but what's the story with an hard to define sauce? The fillet mignon was overcooked - again with lots of mashed potatoes topped with creme-frais of some sort. Desserts equally unexciting. Not bad for a $500 tap for four.....or is it? Enjoy your morning sun, skip the sunset.
Great night! Great food and service!
Horrible service. Very inattentive servers. Decent food.
Had Christmas dinner with a big crowd. Still had individual attention from the waiter. Special was Prime rib dinner and considering they served hundreds, it was quite delicious!
Made a 7:15 reservation for Christmas day dinner and arrived almost 10 minutes early. Sat at table for 25 min with no water or wait staff. Started to get up to leave and waiter came over and said they were too busy and if I wanted to order food it would be at least 30-45 minutes. Merry Christmas and Goodbye! Wasted the dinner hour with no dinner... Can't rate the food as I never received anything!
Enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner here - the scallops were perfect! Came back on Christmas Day afternoon after a stroll around the property for appetizers and a glass of wine. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - especially since they had to work on the holiday!
This turned out to be a horrible choice for dinner on Christmas Eve. 1st the menu price for prime rib fixed prix was 59.00 on open table. The dinner was actually 68.00. The food was the one bright spot. Too many children, so noisy we were screaming to each other. The cocktail were watered down and bad. My husbands wine was so terrible he did not drink it. For 300+ dinner for 3 was egregious given the horrible atmosphere, and terrible drinks! Last time to go to visit this particular restaurant. There are too many wonderful restaurants in our Valley to visit this place again. I cannot recommend unless you like crowded, noisy lots of children surrounding you for a nice dinner with friends. When we spoke with our waiter about the price difference and the terrible wine and bad cocktails. . . attitude was too bad it is what it is. So too bad for you we will not come again.!!!!
This is a terrific neighborhood spot for PGA West folks.... food is delicious, well-priced and nice portions. The bean soup and Caesar salad are great as well as the barbecue chicken flatbread.
Staff is always friendly and sincere.... and they remember the "regulars" like us. Much appreciated!
Enjoyed our dinner tonight, miss the booths... music was a little too loud
It was nice. Service was great and food was good.
Good food but bar was so noisy that we could not carry on conversation across our dining table
The ambience is great, sitting outside for dinner was very nice. The service was friendly. The food is just mediocre and overpriced for the quality. Drinks are really expensive, with $14 for a (very small and not very exciting) cocktail. It just seemed too high a bill for what we got. I would not come again.
Post remodel it looks nice. The tall long tables in the bar area are fine EXCEPT for the tall chairs. The seat of the chair needs to be about 2 inches deeper, you feel like you’re going to fall off the chair and therefore need to lean on the table. We were a party of eight and the guys in the group were somewhat OK with that but for the ladies (with booty) it was really uncomfortable.
Food as always was super.
Phenomenal food from the dinner menu. Great service as well.
There was a business convention at the surrounding hotel, which made it difficult to carry on a conversation even though we sat near the back of the restaurant.
Friendly, but slow service. Food was very good.
Twenty6 was an excellent experience. Dining outside was fabulous. Food and service was fantastic. Place was quite pricey but worth it overall.
Ambience is wonderful. Menu needs more items. I had the white bean soup, could not eat it. Way too salty and the meat in it was grisly. Mussels were delicious but the sauce was ineatable due to over salting.
Such a nice spot in the resort. I love the outdoor seating, the food is great, and probably the best thing of all is the service.
I had been here before and didn't disappoint. We went a little late so not many people there, but made service great. Atmosphere is always nice.
We had breakfast at Twenty6 and decided to come back for dinner in part because we couldn't get an early reservation at Adobe Grill. The breakfasts are fine, and I can recommend Twenty6 for breakfast, but dinner was -- meh. We started with a salad that seemed like it had been sitting in a bowl for awhile -- limp and pretty blah. My husband had a filet that was good, but I ordered the special of the day -- chicken pot pie -- and it had almost no chicken in it; it reminded me of canned cream of chicken soup. I won't come back for dinner. Service was fine, and it's a nice, comfortable place, but it was a disappointing dinner.
Went to 26 for dinner first night at La Quinta resort we ordered the swordfish and salmon salad both were cooked perfectly would have liked the waiter to follow up with us more often we would have liked more bread.
Completely disappointed and a waste of $200. I ordered the filet which I had to send back to have it cooked through thoroughly, the mac & cheese was terrible the vegetables were cold the whiskey mule did not taste correct. The presentation was boring & uneventful for the price . Overall I will not return and again thought that was a waste of money.
A decent place but pretty overpriced. My filet was fantastic and I liked that I could order a "carafe" of wine instead of a glass, which was a 9 oz. pour and made it a better value. Service was good, though the restaurant was very loud. And they did not have a record of my OpenTable reservation, despite the fact that I had a confirmation email showing it went through.
2nd night at La Quinta. Experience far superior at Twenty6 compared to Adobe Grill previous night. Underrated Prime steaks. Above average wine list. Cocktails from the bar left a little to be desired. Service excellent.
