This restaurant is the dinning workhorse of the La Quinta Resort. The only real breakfast alternative on the resort grounds - and the breakfast is good, with prices naturally matching its convenience. However, we had reserved seats for a New Year's dinner. The reservation was honored in a timely matter. The wine was on part with restaurants in the area - overpriced and of a so-so quality for most bottles in the $50-75/bottle range. The food was just OK for a a prix-fixe of $79/pps dinner. The appetizers (we had scallops with wild mushrooms) were good but what chef is compelled to put all that the on a bed of mashed potatoes? The fish was good but what's the story with an hard to define sauce? The fillet mignon was overcooked - again with lots of mashed potatoes topped with creme-frais of some sort. Desserts equally unexciting. Not bad for a $500 tap for four.....or is it? Enjoy your morning sun, skip the sunset.
Made a 7:15 reservation for Christmas day dinner and arrived almost 10 minutes early. Sat at table for 25 min with no water or wait staff. Started to get up to leave and waiter came over and said they were too busy and if I wanted to order food it would be at least 30-45 minutes. Merry Christmas and Goodbye! Wasted the dinner hour with no dinner... Can't rate the food as I never received anything!
Enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner here - the scallops were perfect! Came back on Christmas Day afternoon after a stroll around the property for appetizers and a glass of wine. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - especially since they had to work on the holiday!
This turned out to be a horrible choice for dinner on Christmas Eve. 1st the menu price for prime rib fixed prix was 59.00 on open table. The dinner was actually 68.00. The food was the one bright spot. Too many children, so noisy we were screaming to each other. The cocktail were watered down and bad. My husbands wine was so terrible he did not drink it. For 300+ dinner for 3 was egregious given the horrible atmosphere, and terrible drinks! Last time to go to visit this particular restaurant. There are too many wonderful restaurants in our Valley to visit this place again. I cannot recommend unless you like crowded, noisy lots of children surrounding you for a nice dinner with friends. When we spoke with our waiter about the price difference and the terrible wine and bad cocktails. . . attitude was too bad it is what it is. So too bad for you we will not come again.!!!!
This is a terrific neighborhood spot for PGA West folks.... food is delicious, well-priced and nice portions. The bean soup and Caesar salad are great as well as the barbecue chicken flatbread.
Staff is always friendly and sincere.... and they remember the "regulars" like us. Much appreciated!
The ambience is great, sitting outside for dinner was very nice. The service was friendly. The food is just mediocre and overpriced for the quality. Drinks are really expensive, with $14 for a (very small and not very exciting) cocktail. It just seemed too high a bill for what we got. I would not come again.
Post remodel it looks nice. The tall long tables in the bar area are fine EXCEPT for the tall chairs. The seat of the chair needs to be about 2 inches deeper, you feel like you’re going to fall off the chair and therefore need to lean on the table. We were a party of eight and the guys in the group were somewhat OK with that but for the ladies (with booty) it was really uncomfortable.

We had breakfast at Twenty6 and decided to come back for dinner in part because we couldn't get an early reservation at Adobe Grill. The breakfasts are fine, and I can recommend Twenty6 for breakfast, but dinner was -- meh. We started with a salad that seemed like it had been sitting in a bowl for awhile -- limp and pretty blah. My husband had a filet that was good, but I ordered the special of the day -- chicken pot pie -- and it had almost no chicken in it; it reminded me of canned cream of chicken soup. I won't come back for dinner. Service was fine, and it's a nice, comfortable place, but it was a disappointing dinner.
Completely disappointed and a waste of $200. I ordered the filet which I had to send back to have it cooked through thoroughly, the mac & cheese was terrible the vegetables were cold the whiskey mule did not taste correct. The presentation was boring & uneventful for the price . Overall I will not return and again thought that was a waste of money.
A decent place but pretty overpriced. My filet was fantastic and I liked that I could order a "carafe" of wine instead of a glass, which was a 9 oz. pour and made it a better value. Service was good, though the restaurant was very loud. And they did not have a record of my OpenTable reservation, despite the fact that I had a confirmation email showing it went through.
My husband and I live across the street and frequent Twenty-6 often. But this time we brought über snobby LA foodie friends with us and I am so crazy happy you delivered!
All of the service was perfect. Erik was our head server and was amazing. The food was outstanding, as always.
We even closed the place down!

It was a very hot afternoon and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant but all the servers were friendly and helpful to us. They brought us lots of ice and orange wedges and seated us under the air conditioning vents to cool down. They even brought us amazing salted caramel chocolate covered vanilla ice cream pops. Love the beet and quinoa salad.
The service was not very good. We had a reservation, but we were still seated late. For dinner, The salads were great! The pot pie was not. Lunch was good... but service was still not great. Outside seating is lovely though... in the beautiful resort. Bartender was the only person that gave us great service.
We had a very nice lunch, and though it was warm, we sat outside and for the most part it was comfortable. Just so nice to enjoy the outside seating. The service was excellent, they made us feel special. The food was also very good, this is a great place to meet friends for lunch when you can sit outside.
We had a reservation for 6 people and were very disappointed that our reservation wasn't treated with any special thought. We were seated in the bar Vs the main dinning area which meant it was very noisy & the service was slow & confusing! An example of that would be that we had two salads ordered in our group and after the two individuals finished their salads another server came out with two more salads again after they had already been served and finished.
We were staying at La Quinta Resort and chose this restaurant because it has a patio to enjoy the beautiful spring weather and it's right off the upper patio area that has live music. The ambiance is nice and casual. The menu is great for appealing to all tastes. One in our group had a burger, one had grilled chicken and two had steak. All dishes were prepared wonderfully.
