Venue is fine, but the food and drinks are overpriced .
Great place. Off season so not as crowded. Yummy burger. Get the garlic tater tots! Great service. Very attentive.
It's a casual dining experience with upscale prices. There was no host at the door, we stood there without any acknowledgement. The food was not prepared as advertised in the menu. It was very disappointing. I will never go back.
The food was delicious! We enjoyed dinner here during our stay. Will definitely return.
Great setup. Easy access to food for the breakfast Buffett. Also provides great atmosphere for dinner service. Reasonably priced compared to surrounding restaurants.
I usually do not like sauces, but this chef’s use of seasonings makes them truly exceptional. I have found that on multiple visits with different dishes. As a hotel and spa offering, Twenty6 is truly superb. The food is creative while always maintaining a menu consistent with La Quinta’s long history as a traditional Hollywood retreat. The dishes will prove familiar to Travelers from any part of the country and much of the world, while still giving each dish a creative twist.
The food and service were good. My waiter was very attentive.
I had eaten at this restaurant a few days earlier and was seated outside. The flies were so annoying. I was inside for this particular meal and the flies were just as annoying. Something should be done about them!
Many pesky flies in the dining room.
Tater tots were greasy.
Soup served after entree.
Expected much better from a Waldorf Astoria property and at this price point.
For the prices that are charged (way too high), we were expecting something more than a 'cafe' setting. There were guests wearing pool attire, and parents bringing in kids making way too much noise. Food was just okay, way overpriced for such a casual environment and mediocre food. What a disappointment, there are far better places to spend that kind of money.
It was 102 on the patio and it still felt comfortable. I had the beet salad with salmon and my wife had beet salad with shrimp and they were huge. Both were lite and perfect for a summer night. Eduardo tempted us with their delicious July 4th dessert a chocolate ice cream mud pie. Music 🎶 from the Palm Plaza created a great evening.
Staying at LaQuinta so we decided to dine here for a late breakfast early lunch
I had their lunch special which was a tuna melt, salad and navy bean soup (my Fathers favorite)
It was awesome
I think that it was a tuna steak that was cooked then shredded
Cheese and sour dough bread finished it off
Wife had the buffet, bacon looked spectacular
Not cheap but at least solid meals
This is another great one for dinner if you are staying at the La Quinta resort or in the area. Steaks are always great! The cocktail list is fun and the wine if also really good. We dined here for 4th of July and while we have had better service in the past, the food and overall was great!
It was 107 but felt cool in the dry desert heat listening to music on the patio. Our wait staff of Javier, Eduardo and Brandon always make the evening special. My wife had the salmon dinner and I had the barbecue chicken quinoa bowl with Seghesio Zinfandel wine. Both were delicious.
We enjoyed a late dinner, 7 pm, on the patio and even though it was late June we were very comfortable. The patio is in the shade and we had the extra benefit of listening to live music coming from the Palm Plaza. The ambiance is to live for. I enjoyed a chicken salad with barbecue flavor it was light and refreshing. I can’t remember what my wife had and as she is asleep as I write this I’ll have to get back to you. We did enjoy a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel.
Reasonable menu selection. The items we ordered were very good. Service was very slow. Had to flag down servers for both wine and the bill. Appeared to be a staffing problem rather than a poor server.
Overall it was just ok. We made a reservation for father's day brunch at 11am, and as soon as we walked in we were informed they were no longer serving brunch... is that ok? Well, no but what are my options? I have 2 little kids with me and it's father's day, so we're pretty much stuck here. Drinks were good server was very nice. They brought the kids food out right away which was great. My husband ate the scraps of the brunch buffet that were still out and I ordered a salad off the lunch menu. We waited 15-20 minutes at after the kids food was delivered for the salad to come out and asked 3 people before it was brought out and i'm not really sure if it was the salad I ordered. But, it was good and it was way too late to send it back.
It’s heating up in the desert fortunately Twenty Six is in the shade. I had filet mignon cooked medium rare with mushroom sauce-perfect! My wife had the salmon from the entree menu and she complimented the sauce. Brandon provides excellent service and brought us a new Zinfandel- Grgrich and it was excellent with a taste of chocolate at the finish. We had vanilla ice cream, tasted home made, with coffee. We came later at 7 pm to beat the heat and the music on the Palm Plaza was in full swing. Another great evening.
Food was terrible. Complained about the lemonade (if you can believe even the lemonade was terrible) tasting artificial and they brought the gallon plastic jug to the table ! Calamari was frozen and then deep fried, just can’t say how disappointed we were in food, service and the over all look of the place .
We both had salmon grilled medium with a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel and triple chocolate cake all were delicious. Brandon was on top of his game as he served us as music played in the background. We’ll definitely be back
Excellent food and drinks menu selection. Gracious but attentive service.
Twenty6 is located in the courtyard of the La Quinta Resort and Club. I highly recommend sitting in the outdoor patio, weather permitting. This was our seventh or eighth year staying at the resort. We typically eat at Twenty6 at least 2-3 times per visit. This year in particular we had exceptional service from Brandon Unger. He not only provided terrific service but went above and beyond, offering tips for further enjoying our stay in La Quinta, and also assuring that we had exactly the type of seating we wanted for our two dinner meals at Twenty6. He was helpful with food and drink recommendations, making wonderful suggestions that we truly enjoyed. Beyond the setting and service the food is also exceptional. My favorite is the sea scallops. The salmon and the roasted chicken are also outstanding. Try a crab cake for an appetizer. Big enough for two and absolutely delicious. Serving sizes are very generous. All around a wonderful dining experience.
A beautiful evening as the new palm trees 🌴 on the Palm Plaza have opened. I had salmon added to Caesar salad. The salmon is a meal sized selection. My wife had salmon, grilled medium with tater tots and broccolini. Eduardo started our evening by bringing a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel and surprised us with a delicious dessert. The weather and meal were perfect.
Stage Coach in town
A festive atmosphere as Stage Coachers we’re out in force- great for people watching. I had Caesar salad with shrimp a lite meal. My wife had the grilled salmon cooked medium- delicious with a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel. We were celebrating some excellent health numbers so Brandon surprised us with a piece of their “To live for” triple chocolate cake. I ordered the eye opener Shot in the dark coffee- 2 shots of expresso & regular coffee. The background music from the Palm Plaza made the evening.
Very poor attentiveness to our needs by the server. Despite a very slow number of reservations this evening, our server seemed to be elsewhere. Food was not particularly creative fair but was tasty.
Coachella in full swing the outfits were the best ever great for people watching. I had Caesar salad with grilled salmon and my wife had grilled salmon with delicious chocolate cake 🎂 for dessert. We enjoyed Seghesio Zinfandel as we listened to the music from the Palm Plaza and great service by Javier. Oh what a night.
The wait staff were amazing! Several large groups dining which made the noise level extremely high!! They were kind enough to tell us to order before the groups did
Perfect evening- weather, food, wine and entertainment on the patio at Twenty-Six. I ordered the caesar salad with salmon. My wife ordered the salmon dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli . My salad salmon was as large as my wife's salmon dinner. The salmon was grilled perfectly. We shared a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel wine sipped it slow and listened to the music coming from the Palm Plaza. Brandon kept our wine glass filled and Sarah brought 3 chocolate chip cookies. Great service we enjoy the positive professional personalities. Brings us back time and again.
Lots of kids go after 8 pm
This restaurant is the only breakfast option at the hotel and it is perfect for that. But for any meal you really only want to be outside as the inside is a bit dark and dreary.
The ambiance outside was nice, but the manager seemingly had an issue with our party of nine splitting up into two tables to enjoy the nice night outside. The food was pretty pricey. Though our server was really on it, the overall experience wasn’t worth the cost of the food and I don’t plan to come back.
The weather was perfect the resort was packed. Twenty Six staff had our table ready and Justin and Anita served us very well. I had the Prime Rib- it is the Saturday night special. My wife had the six oz filet mignon.
After dinner we went to the Palm Plaza and listened to the Inca Kings- great evening
Our waiter was outstanding in every way. Very accomodating with our 2 grandchildren. He was warm and efficient.
The manager came over and fixed our table.
Great food. Staff friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere.
Out of town friends joined us for a relaxing dinner with a view of the Palm Plaza and the sounds of the band. We all had various salmon dishes and there were compliments all around. I tried the Caesar salad with salmon and the piece of salmon was the size of the dinner salmon. Brandon was at the top of his game and made certain our needs were met. A fine evening and perfect March weather.
The dining was outside and the setting at the LaQuinta Resort is beautiful...lovely views with blooming flowers. The food quality, presentation and service were excellent. Recommend this restaurant.
We always head straight to Abode for lunch but decided to try Twenty6 this time. Food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely go again.
The crab cakes are one of my all time favourites - always good - but everything is yummy
Twenty6 is just a sports bar with really expensive and unpredictable food, poor service and the ambiance of a crowded airport. Very disappointed in our dinner and, having had the identical experience at the Adobe Grill above Twenty6, we will not be returning. Too bad, I used to love going to this resort.
Nice, but not outstanding. My scallops were too salty and Brandon a bit too enthusiastic (Stop calling me "young lady" -- I'm 72). The other people in the party were quite happy.
I will say that lunch there a few days prior was good also, tho we were sitting outside on a hot day and could have use water and iced tea refills.
The flowers at the Resort are beautiful, which really have a give the restaurant an awesome view!
