It was my boyfriends 30th birthday dinner, and the staff were just brilliant, we both got steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing. We will 100% be back! Thank you.

As visitors to Edinburgh 20 was recommended by a local friend. It was a totally wonderful experience. Amazing food, great choice of excellent wines. Served by a knowledgeable and friendly waitress. Comfortable eating space. Not cheap but so worth every penny. Thank you 20 we will recommend you and hope to return. Jenny

We enjoyed excellent dishes during our dinner— and personally I recommend the Roasted chicken supreme ‘cock-a-leekie’, it was cooked beautifully and very balanced on flavours, to the point that my dad, who ordered the pan fried Atlantic cod, proclaimed he liked my order more! His dish was just as excellently cooked and enjoyed as well- by both of us. :) We’ve been trying sticky toffee puddings all across Scotland (Skye, Glasgow, Stirling…) and this one still remains our favourite! Arrived very warm and not sickly sweet, which allows the flavours of the sponge to really come through. Ice cream on the side delicious and creamy with it, and the caramel popcorn was fresh, crunchy and tasty! Great staff who gave us recommendations and promptly seated us at a table with a lovely view of the city below! Definitely book a table, as they get busy (but not noisy luckily) and reserved tables fill quickly so snag one if you wish to dine in a more quiet environment as well.

Food was delicious. Very good choice of starters, mains and desserts. The four of us enjoyed every dish. It has been a long time since I indulged in three courses but the desserts were irresistible. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They made us feel comfortable from the ‘off’ and the service just got better and better. A great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch with fab friends. We traveled from Middlesbrough to enjoy this lunch and we were not disappointed. We will return at the next available opportunity!

Anna was lovely - we could tell she was likely new to her role but she answered questions and went to get answers when she didn’t have them. She will quickly become a charming server. Food was very good, ambience was very nice.

Lovely meal - hearty fare and good sized portions although not too much. Helpful staff who were very polite. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere - not too noisy but still buzzy, and enough space between tables to not feel cramped. It’s in a great position in Edinburgh and very good value for the quality of the food and the place itself.

Our second visit in as many weeks, this time with friends visiting from abroad. On booking, a request had been made for a window table which quite clearly had been ignored until we arrived - I had specifically asked to be advised if a window table wouldn't be available as I then would have made a reservation elsewhere. The fairly feeble response was that a table at the window wouldn't be comfortable for five but we were eventually offered two smaller tables nearby that were hastily put together to accommodate us. Not the experience I had hoped for and so will probably not now return, despite the food and service being very good.

Fantastic restaurant with a great view. Party of four ordered the Atlantic Cod, Roast Chicken, and Lamb Rump; all were excellent. Staff was very attentive and professional and provided excellent service. Nice drink choices as well as deserts; we passed on the sweets as portions are a good size. Staff was very sensitive to allergies and helped one of our party navigate through it and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal. Highly recommend this establishment and would go there again.

Had our anniversary dinner there. Took a little while for the food to arrive but everything else was excellent. Service by Pepe and Danilo was brilliant, Pepe especially was outstanding. He went far and beyond to give us extra perks. We had a lovely time, very memorable.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was amazing, especially the Lobster pasta. My friend and I rated this was the best meal we've ever had in our Scotland trip! If I visit Edinburgh next time I will definitely have dinner there again!
