Overall experience was beyond words. We haven’t had a chance to enjoy ourselves like that in a very long time. Amazing amazing amazing!!!
Food was amazing as usual and our Server Dylan was great!
Solid food and service. Great table outside overlooking the Riverwalk. Scallops were gritty, feeling inadequately cleaned, which was the only downside of the evening.
My husband had the ribeye, I had the filet, the kids had burgers and one had the chicken. All were very good! Our waiter was excellant also. Kept drinks refilled and plates cleaned off.
Very good experience.
The staff was great. Although we do not usually spend this much on dinner, the experience was worth it. However the noise level was a little more than expected.
The outside dining area was perfect. We were seated at a table on a stairway landing that gave us a beautiful view of the Riverwalk.
We have been here several times and sat on the patio thus last time. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was also wonderful. The only downside was the service. The waitress seemed to have too many tables and was not very attentive. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars and not 5, due to service.
This place is a great upscale restaurant along the Pueblo Riverwalk. The food is really good- the wine selection is great and the staff, is very attentive. If you can get there on a nice night, let the GM select a bottle of wine for you- order the chocolate cake and sit outside! It will be memorable. We loved it and will be back :).
21 Steak has received better reviews from me in the past, but the last couple experiences are less than stellar. Service was ok. Food was all over the board from "sent back to the kitchen and still not right" to great unique plates. Good cocktails, but not enough to carry the overall experience. Will be a while before we return.
Simply the Best
Went last minute with a group of five. They were accommodating. Atmosphere was great. What our server seemed to lack in experience and confidence, she more than made up for in attentiveness and personality. The name of the place literally has “steak” in its name - need I say more. My filet was excellent. My wife is vegan, and they had good choices for her as well. For whatever reason my buddy ordered scallops at a steakhouse in the middle of Colorado- and he got exactly the mediocrity I would’ve expected. All in all a very nice evening out. Slightly disappointed in the wine list (not many choices), and if I’m not mistaken I don’t think you could get by the bottle. We went hard alcohol and champagne so don’t hold me to that. Amidst the covid pandemic the staff seemed to uphold all the proper safety precautions which as a patron is very much appreciated.
My steak was undercooked, the temperature of the room was so hot I was sweating and uncomfortable the entire time, our server was not very attentive.
Very good food but one steak was a little over cooked. Great and friendly staff
Food and service was amazing as always
I've been to 21 Steak 3 times. Each time has been a different experience, not in a good way. The first time was very enjoyable. The food was amazing, service was great. The second time the food was disappointing and we were placed next to a family with children who were out of control. Not really the restaurants fault but not a good time.
This past time was the last time I will be going. We reserved outdoor seating. When we got there we were told we couldn't sit outside because it was raining earlier and might upset someone who didn't get it sit outside. Wasn't raining when we got there. Fine, whatever. But then we were set in a corner, in the back. Probably the worst table in the place. But hey, didnt want to upset people. We ordered and tried to enjoy ourselves. Our service was amazing. Our food was okay. The meat portions were good. Not great, not bad. My steak was cooked perfectly but was chewy. Our sides were horrible. Creamed spinach and Brussels sprouts were undercooked. Fries were good. Hard to mess those up. Best creme brulee I have ever had. But not worth going back for. I guess my message to whoever's reads this is skip the sides, have the meat and don't expect to sit outside. Also, if management reads this, I understand that having outdoor seating is a major pain. If you don't want that, please don't offer it. We picked that location to celebrate our anniversary because we met just outside those seats. But hey, that corner seat was super romantic too. In your effort to avoid upsetting costumers already inside, you upset another. But that was never considered I guess.
Me and my wife had dinner on Friday night 7-10-20 for our anniversary. One of the reasons we chose 21 Steak it’s because it is a local business and we are trying to support local during these hard times. We had several craft bottled beers, shrimp cocktail anda wedge salad for an appetizer and all were delicious. We ordered the 80$ tomahawk ribeye for two medium rare, it came to the table medium well to well done. When we brought this to the attentionOf the staff and manager we were told this is how it’s done because of the type of steak. We were very disappointed With the steak and how the complaint was handled. I don’t think we will be back and I expected a lot more from a top end steak house.
Great steaks great service! Definitely going again!
I have no idea why the management would have only 2 people working a busy restaurant on a holiday weekend. Other than an avoidable error, the location, food, and quality was excellent. The ribeye for 2 is one of the best cuts and most well-seasoned steaks I've ever had. Definitely worth going back for on a special occasion when in town or passing through Pueblo.
My husband and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Dylan did an excellent job and the food was delicious.
We had great service. The food was very enjoyable. Nice night out.
Brought my wife here for our 21st anniversary. Did the online reservations which was easy and intuitive. Arrived about 15 minutes early and they took us right in. Only complaints about the seating was we wanted to go outside and sit close to the water. They seated us outside but on the top level behind the fireplace so we couldn't even see the water. Then the next group that came was seated right next to us. We were the only two groups outside at all. The only other complaint was the Brussels sprouts were not available. That's one of my favorite dishes there! We were there only 15 minutes after opening and only the second guests in the restaurant so I was surprised they were gone. Beyond that everything was spectacular. Steaks and sides were prefect. Drinks were excellent as was the service. Thank you.
Steaks could have Edna little more consistent. One was verygoodtheother was fair
Nice place for dinner. A very good steak! Definitely will come back again.
They made our anniversary very special. Not only did we get a card signed by the staff but they gave us a complimentary dessert. Alex was a great server. We will definitely be back!!
Service by Ashleigh was great. The new manager Toni was on point, never missed a beat with any table. Drinks from the bar were great! The amount of food in the side dishes was enough for a few days. Can’t wait to go back!
I really enjoyed the food! And our waiter was nice and took great care of us.
Wild mushroom risotto is worth the trip. Well presented and prepared selections.
I visited on 2-29-2020. I was celebrating my 53rd birthday. It was one of the best meals I have had. The server was a true pro and he made sure we had the best experience. As a matter of fact everyone in the establishment is oriented towards exceptional service. In other words, eating here is an experience second to none in the Pueblo area. The drinks are not watered down, the food is superb. I left happy and content thank you, 21 Steak!
I decided to book a reservation here because it was in close proximity to the Courtyard by Marriott and because the reviews were all very complimentary.
We arrived shortly before our reservation time of 6:45 p.m. on a Saturday night. The hostess stated that our table was not ready and that we could sit at the bar and wait. We ended up sitting at the bar and ultimately decided to just dine at the bar since our table was not ready.
The ambiance was nice, the staff was very friendly, and the bar staff was very attentive. My martini was really good, but my husband's Old Fashioned was overly sweet. The wine-by-the-glass selection was limited and consisted of low-end options.
To start, we ordered the special Cajun Oysters as an appetizer. They were overcooked, and the breading was too heavy to the point that you really couldn't taste the oysters. The sauce they put them on was good.
We ordered a wedge salad to share and it was good but the candied bacon came in a long strip so it was hard to eat it with the salad.
For our entrees, I ordered the lamb chops which were prepared very well but the pistachio goat cheese sauce was devoid of any flavor. My husband ordered the New York Strip and it was probably one of the toughest New York Strips that I have ever had. It was hard to cut it even with the steak knife and so my plate kept sliding around.
We sat at the end of the bar and it was too congested with the wait staff going in and out behind the bar as well as having an ordering station right there.
After I got to work the following Monday, I had a telephone message that was left at 6:56 p.m. Saturday night telling me that if I didn't call to confirm my reservation, they might cancel it. Then, I received an e-mail from OpenTable stating that I missed my reservation. Huh?
Over all it was fine but a bit pricey. If I ever go back to Pueblo, I might try it again but only because the dining is limited in Pueblo.
Dylan was amazing and the food exceptional! Always a great environment and service.
We went there for our 10th leap day anniversary. Really enjoyed everything about it but wish they had a baked potatoes to go with that delicious steak
As always, the food was delicious! Our waiter Dylan could not of been better. From appetizer, salad, drinks and dinner was all great!
Thanks so much for the amazing date night. Toni was the icing on the cake. Perfect wine pairing and such an amazing night.
Excellent! Service staff super. Food fantastic. WOW!
The Ribeye special they offered tonight might be the best thing I have ever had here! Wow!
Amazing food. Great service. Even better drinks. The steak was the best steak I’ve had and cooked to perfections. Delicious sides.
Food does not seem to be as good lately. The scallops were too salty to eat, the fillet was dry, all of the sides were very good.
Food is thoughtfully presented and above par for the area. Steaks were done perfectly.
This place literally has one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The New York is awesome, and the Ribeye is even better. If you’re in Pueblo, definitely check this place out.
The restaurant is casually pleasant. Quiet with nice view of the Riverwalk. New York strip was cooked perfectly. Martini was was very good. Salads were fresh. Menu is pricy but not overly so, especially if you want a perfectly cooked steak in a nice environment. Staff is friendly & attentive.
