Twelves Grill and Cafe is a family owned business in West Grove, PA. We offer a farm to table dining with a casual, fine dinning experience. Our plates are all made to order with fresh ingredients. We have a small patio to enjoy outside dining. We sell our own Blondes and Brewnettes Craft Beer along with local Wines and pre-make Stateside Vodka Cans. We do still allow BYOB with a $5/bottle charge.

Our restaurant has been open since 2008 and is set in a historic bank in the small Borough of West Grove, PA. West Grove is convenient to Rt. 1 and 41, 10 mins from Kennett Square and Longwood Gardens and 20 mins from Hockessin, DE.

We currently seat for lunch and dinner along with hosting private events, special themed dinners, and local fundraisers. We ask that if you are trying to book a group of 6 or more guests or a private event that you call Twelves directly at 610-869-4020.

Food was great…cream of mushroom soup; wedge salad; salmon; and steak and fries- cheese grits were a little lumpy and under seasoned though. Well priced and nice atmosphere. I imagine it was a fluke but our service was not great. We sat for 20 minutes without as much of an “Ill be right with you”. I finally went up to the host station when a couple was seated next to us, 20 minutes after us, and was immediately greeted, had water and had their wine corked! A server did come over then but was very abrupt and practically dropped our plates and ran instead of making us feel welcome or perhaps even offering an apology for the undue delay! Would we go back- Yes …. but with the hope that we would get a better server!

The first time we went to Twelves and we will be back there for sure! The mushroom soup was so delicious and fresh, we had the burgers they were amazing we had the wedge salad. It was so good the dessert was incredible. My son had the lamb rack Amazing. The steak was great too. And the truffle fries. Yum! Everything was so good. I just loved it there and I can’t wait to go back.

First time I’ve been disappointed here. The water brought out when we arrived tasted awful. Can’t put my finger on what it was but not a great way to set the stage for our food. The cheese tray was the highlight of our meal and was delicious. My crab cakes were tasteless and my husband’s sautéed spinach was overly salty to the point of being inedible. Portion sizes were generous but disproportional with the risotto and mashed potatoes being the largest serving. We opted not to stay for dessert after the rest of the meal. Service was good, nothing special.

We had reservations for a table of 6. We took our 3 small grandchildren for dinner. The dinner for the children arrived 40 minutes before our dinner. The waiter apologized multiple times and said they had a large party in the back. Once our meals finally arrived, they were cold and looked like they were frantically put together. At this point the children were tired and ready for bed. I had to get my dinner to go.

I usually have a good dinner but was disappointed tonight. Food was under cooked and had to go back. Dessert was dry.
