   We had lunch/brunch. Everything was tasty. Our reservation was at the end of shift but no one rushed us out. We were able to enjoy our entire meal

   Beautiful decor, very clean and amazing vegan food you’ll find on the Peninsula. One of my favorite restaurants and always make it a point to come here for my birthday :)

   A friend whose uncle ran a restaurant told me a mark of a great restaurant was a manager who was on the floor interacting with the patrons. From greeting guests, taking orders, talking with the diners and even busing the tables, Kevin is the epitome of hospitality making the visit great. Twelvemonth is Burlingame's destination restaurant but also a neighborhood gem!

   This was my first time visiting a vegan restaurant. The food was surprisingly fresh, flavorful, and overall delicious. The wait staff was attentive. I had the dumplings, mushrooms, tea salad, and tamales for my entree. I would suggest a bigger entree portion of tamales, or plate the tamales on a quinoa salad, black beans, cabbage slaw., or cauliflower rice. Otherwise, the experience was favorable and I would come back again.

   I took my godmother to Twelvemonth for Mother's Day after she saw a piece about it on Check Please, and we had a wonderful experience! I was a little hesitant to go out to dinner on a 'holiday' but we were both pleasantly surprised by everything. Neither of us is fully plant-based, but when she expressed excitement about trying this spot, I was all for it! We arrived just before the dining room opened which gave us a chance to check out the bar and have a beverage there first. Across the board, I can say the ambiance and decor were perfection, and the staff was friendly, kind, helpful, and lovely. Kevin (manager) greeted us after we were seated and chatted with us about some of the food options as well as the history of the space. Even as service picked up, the noise level was tolerable and we could both talk and hear one another without shouting or straining. The food was wonderful as well. We tried 3 starters - bean soup, dumplings, and fried mushrooms - all of which were super flavorful and tasty. For mains we tried the radish cakes and 'shepherd's pie'. Both were good, more dense/heavy, but we both agreed the starters outshone these two dishes. Again, they were both really good (and we took them home for leftovers) but we liked the apps better. We made sure to save room for dessert and of course, had to try the chocolate flower pot. SO GOOD and so cute with the little shovel as a spoon or serving spoon! We also got the blueberry pie, which I, too, loved, and e took a little of both home as well. The lavender ice cream for the blueberry pie was a little too flowery for my liking. Overall, the attention to detail, presentation and flavor of the food, and service were outstanding. We were both pleasantly surprised and know we will certainly go back. A wonderful place for a date night, special occasion, or to grab a drink with friends at the bar/sit outside.

   The food here was beautifully prepared & artfully plated. Everything was delicious. We came for a late Mother’s Day lunch & were especially excited to try the potted pudding. Unfortunately the service was very slow & rather inattentive. We found ourselves flagging someone down every time we needed something. When we finally got our server to take our dessert order we were told they were out of the potted pudding. I’d love to go back because the food was that good but will go earlier before the desserts run out & knowing it will take longer than we think.

   Short review: You are missing out if you don’t dine here. Fabulous experience for both groups & date night. Food is out of this world amazing. Anyone that is vegan and or not vegan is guaranteed to love this place. The service is impeccable. Long review: This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The attention to detail from every step of the way is truly impeccable. This review will go into each dish tried along with the flavor profiles. Starter: Crispy Maitake Mushrooms were an absolute umami flavor bomb. The light batter around the flavorful mushrooms was crispy and stuck perfectly to each piece. With whipped ranch, there is a perfect balance of umami, heat, lemon(acid) and just endless flavor even after finishing the bite. 1000% recommend Radiatori pasta looks so simple, but is insanely flavorful. The calabrian chili was incredibly interesting in this dish; it provided heat, but did not numb the taste buds on the tongue. the plant based ricotta was the perfect portion with this pasta. The pasta itself was legit perfect because it captured all the flavor. The Tamales. Wow wow WOW. This was life changing. Our server recommend and this did not disappoint. The strawberry mole initially tastes sweet & then develops into heat. Texture was perfect. The crunch at the top was chefs kiss. I would have liked a little bit more filling however overall great. The desserts invoked a feeling of pure inner child joy. The putted pudding had a shovel & it was just the cutest thing. The lavender in the ice cream was the perfect amount. I usually dont like lavender anything & it complimented the blueberry so nicely & subtly. The attention to detail here does not go unnoticed. I can’t wait to come back and bring friends and family!
