I was so totally impressed by the restaurant! The food was very well prepared, presented and the seasoning and taste were beyond my expectations. Bravo to the team in the front of the house for their considerate, knowledgeable and professional service. Bravo to the kitchen staff - again, the food was terrific. We had a starter, soup, salad 2 entrees and dessert - all were exceptional and showed a level of care and intention in the crafting of each element. The price points were very reasonable and I look forward to returning soon!

What an amazing experience. Far beyond the ambiance, the food, and the service. All combined with such a fantastic location, building, design. Such a unique experience with seasonal foods that created a perfect dining event.

Great food and excellent vegan menu. Wine pairing for prix fixe was OK. Service was faultless we were even able to make a substitute in wine pairing.

The time in between meals was quite a bit lengthy and the temperature of my main course was lukewarm warm. I like it hot.

Twelvemonth is an excellent plant based restaurant. The plant based impossible sliders taste great the Shanghai lumpia egg plant sliders bean stew soup was also great. Ambiance was very nice. Will visit again.

A Plant-Based Gem with a Disappointing Seating Policy As someone who has followed a plant-based diet for over 30 years, I can say without hesitation that Twelvemonth is one of the finest plant-based restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. The food is creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented — a true celebration of plant-based cuisine. However, during my most recent visit, I was deeply disappointed by the restaurant’s seating policy. I brought a dignitary from Thailand, hoping to showcase not just the food but the full Twelvemonth experience. Unfortunately, we were seated in the bar area at a tiny table that couldn’t accommodate all of our dishes. Despite it being 7:30 PM on a Saturday, the elegant and spacious main dining room was nearly empty — yet we were not allowed to sit there. While I remain a fan of the food and the culinary vision behind Twelvemonth, I no longer consider it suitable for special occasions. I hope the restaurant reconsiders this seating approach and brings back the option for all guests to enjoy their meals in the main dining space. Such an exceptional restaurant deserves an equally exceptional experience from start to finish.

Elsewhere in Twelvemonth, we serve our all day menu, an a la carte experience which offers a more casual take on our signature flavors. Enjoy comforting favorites alongside seasonal highlights, all served in a relaxed setting. Dishes are brought to your table as they’re ready—ideal for a laid-back lunch, a spontaneous bite, or a low-key gathering. We have always had two menus for these two very different experiences. Both menus are recently improved!

Service could have been better. It took a while to get the orders due to a kitchen issue. Couldn’t serve the drink I ordered due to a bar issue. Appetizers and food came together vs being served separately. For some reason the appetizer plate is kept 15 minutes after being seated and napkins a few minutes later.

I love that there is an upscale vegan restaurant that is good. However, quality of the food has gone down a bit but maybe they switched the better dishes to the pre fixe indoor dining. We sat outside this time and the options were not as vegetable forward as they previously were, and we’re in the middle of summer. Still a beautiful restaurant, wonderful ambiance, and good drinks. The bar menu is more in line with vegan “meat” than it was fresh, seasonal veggie dishes.
