One of our favorite neighborhood staples with really good Italian food. Growing up on the east coast, it's quite the challenge to find really good Italian cuisine in SoCal but this place is up to par. We had to wait a much longer than usual for our food which was a bit frustrating...we were told there was a large party in the other room. Tomasso, the head chef/owner, came out to personally apologize for the delay and was extremely gracious and friendly. I have to say, it's personal touches like that which makes all the difference. We highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends.
Excellent food, exceptional service
Consistently high quality.
Visiting Friend from out of state. Great experience as always
We have enjoyed dinner here many times, brought friends here often and had celebrations here. We love the food and is an attractive restaurant. This last time we were taken aback by the noise level but we were seated nearer the bar than usual. There are much quieter areas in the restaurant and we Will ask to be seated in those in the future. Solid restaurant!
The outdoor covered ;patio (with heaters) is a lovely place for fine dining.
As always; the food was excellent. The specials were imaginative and delicious.
It was perfect
Mushroom risotto was amazing!
Tuscany is always our go to restaurant to celebrate special occasions. The food, service and ambiance are outstanding.
We had a wonderful meal. All four of us had something different and we were very satisfied. My husband is a steak man but decided on the pheasant, he loved it. Another person had steak and my husband thought next time he would try that because it looked so good and was cooked perfectly. We also had the scampi and another person had the bouillabaisse. Everyone was really happy at the end of the meal. The service was outstanding.
Perfect! Pleasant staff and wonderful food.
Our favorite restaurant that never leaves us disappointed. The seafood selections are amazing!
always excellant never a bad experience thank you
great tasting food. fairly authentic and fresh ingredients. ambience is somewhat plain, but I'm there for the food not the interior design.
This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always great. Service is spot on. I highly recommend it.
Excellent Italian restaurant with nice feel and exceptional service
The food was great, as was the service. The disappointment came from the bar. It was extremely crowded, with people even standing. That made the restaurant way too loud, so that diners could barely hear each other. They either need to expand the bar or limit how many people can be in there.
I took my wife here for her birthday Saturday night. We had a 8:30pm reservation and were seated on the dot. The host was exceptional, she really had us excited for the meal ahaid of us. Someone quickly brought us some water and bread, which was delicious! For some reason no one came back for 30 minutes. We were about to leave when a stressed out server asked if we had been helped. When we replied no, he seemed annoyed at us, as if we ruined his night. He gave us some menus, and disappeared for a while again. We caught his attention and quickly ordered since we were quite hungry at this point.
The food was phenominal! We started with baked polenta with forest mushrooms, delicious. This was a total turn around for the night, defiantly worth the struggle to get to this point. We had a Caesar salad before the main course and we were in love. Such a simple salad prepared to perfection. My wife had the Florentine "gnudi" with burnt butter and sage and I had the sea bass special. If you get the chance, I highly recommend both of these. It was fun sharing them both.
Overall I was a little disappointed with the service but the food was delicious enough to make up for it. With beautiful paintings on the wall, warm lighting and clean floors, the ambiance was perfect for our little romantic night out and we will probably go back at some point.
I like the restaurant a lot. The food and service were outstanding. My only complaint was the noise level b
The BEST Restaurant in the area!!! The food is excitingly good!
Great food and service. They start by bringing a bruschetta to the table. It was so good I asked for another plate of bruschetta. My wife and I both had the pistachio crusted halibut and loved it. We've been here before and always enjoy it.
This is an outstanding local restaurant. The food and service are amazing, and the ambiance is perfect.
We made a last minute reservation but got a great table. Service was exceptional from the server down to the guy who served our fish table side. Even the buzzer acted like we were important I highly recommend this restaurant
Wonderful service and a classy atmosphere. The menu was diverse, with some preferring fish, others red meat and still others vegan. Everything from the hors de ouerves to the amazing desserts was 10 on a 10 scale! I'll be back!
Excellent food but overall an expensive place to visit
Wonderful meal, excellent service and extensive wine list.
Had a wonderful experience and the waiter (with a friendly disposition) was most accommodating with suggestions and service. First time there...but was made to feel like a regular customer. Food was skillfully prepared and well-presented.
I love Chilean sea bass. The chef’s preparation was singularly the best I’ve ever enjoyed. Everything was perfect!
Great tasting food- the bread was a little crunchy- and a great wine selection plus very reliable service are the staples of Tuscany
Food was excellent, but the service not so good. Waiters were probably too busy. Food was deliver without explanation. Ordered two different glasses of wine. Waiter brought us two glasses of the same wine and said that they were out of the other one. Should have asked us what we wanted instead. Again, think that they were too busy to provide service.
Have loved dining at Tuscany for a very long time. However, it was busy last Saturday evening and the noise level overwhelmed the conversation. They appeared to be understaffed. Service was not as warm and attentive as in the past, and they got the orders wrong. The Halibut was uninspired. On two attempts, the bar could not produce a recognizable mojito. It was a surprisingly disappointing evening. I am hoping that management has not changed for the worse.
Phenomenal service, food and a wonderful wine list
Great ambience, food, and service. One of the best places in the Conejo Valley/ Westlake area. Italian cuisine, with innovative interpretations of classic dishes.
Valentine dinner at Tuscany, a usually outstanding restaurant. Semi-prix fixe menu (choices from a selection of appetizers, entrees, and pastries) . Food was very good, service was adequate, and atmosphere seemed hectic. Considering value received , it was quite over-priced.
The dining experiencer was, as usual, exceptional in every way. Kevin, our server, was a delight.
Tables are a little too close together and noise level is loud especially from the bar, but the food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The only negative was the noise level. We will definitely return
Dinner at Tuscany is always superb. Tommaso is a gem of a host and the servers are all very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Best restaurant in Westlake Village and surrounding area.
Great service staff, delicious food, complements to the chefs!
We made a reservation on open table and the restaurant said they let all the kitchen staff go home. Pretty embarrassing to have a business dinner go bad because they did not honor the reservation. What is the use of having this app if the restaurant is not going to honor it.
