This is by far the very best Italian restaurant in the Conejo Valley and beyond. The food quality, selection and price point are superior to any other restaurants in the area. We are always delighted with our dining experience here.
Nicole our server was very sweet, professional. She made our Anniversary very enjoyable. Food as usual was delicious. So thrilled this place is still here. :)
Delicious food, great service, good wine list - delightful experience!
While food and service were very good the noise level was really loud. Especially from one table of 12 who were out of control and screaming even when asked by waiter to calm down. Lamb portion much smaller than last time. Not enjoyable!
Such a nice restaurant. The food was very well-prepared, and I also felt healthy. And to make up for that, the gluten-free chocolate cake for dessert was excellent. The staff was very nice. We had a great business meeting and also a good time catching up in person. All health and safety protocols were followed by staff and fellow diners.
Excellent all around. Food is always exquisite. Staff are impeccable.
Fantastic place, awesome food and good wine selection. Never fails on us except this time the service was a bit disappointing.
Good service. Food was hot and on time. Cocktails were tasty. I think we will be back
Excellent food, drinks and service. Definitely a must if you are looking for a truly delicious Italian meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out last night with friends. We brought two bottles of wine with us and they were exceptional with each course that we ordered. The good and the service was excellent. The menu selections are quite vast and there are so many wonderful choices to pick from. My husband had the halibut and I ordered one of the specials —- the ravioli with short ribs. Both were excellent. Our friend dejected the rosemary chicken and the spinach gnocchi and they loved theirs as well. Would highly recommend this great place to dine.
Loved it as always, glad to see it so busy!
Always a wonderful dining experience. Polished service, exceptional menu.
Amazing food, great experience, Tomoso makes everyone feel special. The overall experience exceeds most of the fine dining in Beverly Hills
Wonderful experience!! Thank you
Celebrated our 30th anniversary at Tuscany last night. Had our wedding reception there 30 years ago. Food and service still wonderful and owner Tomasso is a very gracious host
We sat outside and it was pleasant the food was excellent
Great experience at Tuscany. Their wine menu was interesting and exciting. Really enjoyed all of the food and the service was great.
There were three of us and we all had different entrees but wash of us got the same veggies.
We have enjoyed our reservation many times before. The service and food are excellent. Ask for Kevin he is the best!
Great food, very nice place to celebrate our anniversary
We were there on a Sunday early evening eating outside, which I why I gave a “quiet” rating. It was a FABULOUS evening!!! Tuscany is hands down, the best restaurant in Ventura county. The food, the service, the employees, the owner….all amazing!!
Tuscany has fantastic food and a good variety of options on the menu, all of which are good. Duck, veal, salads, it is all good. Service is great! A highly recommended spot.
Consistently great food. The octopus/calamari arugula salad was exceptional delicious. Tender, most and tasty. The halibut was cooked perfectly. The trio of filet mignon was great too. Service always warm and friendly. The place to eat in Westlake.
This was a very good restaurant experience, professional, efficient and great food. Next time I would request outside seating as it has a large and very nice patio, but inside was fine, less crowded at the time we went. Very impressive menu and wide variety of selections.
I had the dover sole, which is rare to find on restaurant menus, and it was perfectly served and delicious. I didn’t mind that it wasn’t deboned tableside. My wife loved the salmon encrusted in potato. I had a side (large portion) of risotto which was excellent. They offer cakebread Chardonnay by the glass ($25) which is one of my favorite wines. Light fruit tart pie was very good ending.
I will definitely return, high quality food, very nice setting, a bit better menu in my opinion than Toscanova in The Commons which has had server issues. The sister restaurant to Tuscany, Rustico, does not compare favorably at all in most respects.
Excellent in every way.
This gem has been in the area for many, many years. There is a reason for that, its just a really great restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is always great, and the service is professional. All are polished servers that are also incredibly friendly and provide the appropriate attention. We love the mushroom appetizer, but tonight I opted for the fresh gazpacho which was incredible. Simple and flavorful. We often opt to select one of the specials offered. When fresh Santa Barbara Spot Prawns are on the menu, they are amazing - my personal #1 favorite here, prepared with garlic sauce and linguine. OMG. The veal ossobucco is my #2, also offered at times on the special menu. As for pastas, they are all very good, so its hard to select from the pasta special and the standards. My date really liked the Sonoma lamb chops, and the fresh corn and lobster chowder as a starter. The bartender knows how to serve a cocktail. Tomato, the owner, is always gracious but tonight he was too busy to stop by and say hello. Our server, Kevin, ROCKS.
Great food and service. Nice atmosphere outdoors.
Our second visit to Tuscany and brought friends who had not been there before.
Everyone loved their food and had a great time.
Having been here many times in 20 years this was the first time I was dissatisfied with the food
Outstanding as always!
Always good . A regular staple of the area. Excellent food and service. Never disappointed.
Best restaurant in town!
We love the restaurant for our own little special occasions. We took my daughter and son in law as a Thank you for caring for our home while we were on Vacation!
Great food! Great service! Great ambiance when dining on the patio.
We have visited this restaurant well over 100 times and the quality of the food has always been superb. But the main reason my wife and I visit the restaurant is because of the excellent service provided by Nicolle, the waitperson, and her excellent assistants. Tomaso is indeed fortunate to have a person of her talents on his team. She is the best.
Excellent food, as always. Service was wonderful... nice to be inside where it was both cool and quiet.
We LOVE Tuscany! Tomaso is a genius with his fresh ingredients and superb recipes. He also knows good wine!
Loved the food and the service was good. Only complaint is due to the pricing. First off, the menu on OT does not reflect the current menu prices. Maybe, due to the pandemic and cost of good increases, they have raised prices a few dollars here and there. No biggie I totally understand. What I was surprised at was the cost of a Caesar Salad with anchovies at $19? We ordered one to split. I believe the menu cost was $14 dollars or so. Waiter asked if we wanted anchovies, a normal question, and we said yes. What the waiter failed to inform us is that the anchovies are about a $5 up charge. Normally restaurants throw on a couple at no cost. The salad was tasty, just felt that should have been disclosed. Wine prices were a little on the steep side as well. Just a warning to other OT diners. My husband enjoyed his branzino and my lobster ravioli were ok. Not much lobster present, actually more lobster flavor. The dessert was delicious. Overall a good meal and we will return. $121 for two, before tip, is a bit steep for an average Friday night. There is a lot of competition in this neighborhood of Italian restaurants. Lucky us!
Always happy with the food and service! Love this local place.
Took my wife here for her birthday. She loved this place! The food was great and the service was outstanding. A big shout-out to our waitress, who went above and beyond what was expected. The owner was also very nice and came by our table to ensure everything was okay. Highly recommend this restaurant.
