    First time to Toscano’s. Our waitress came by immediately after sitting down introduced herself (Millie) and then someone brought breadsticks, which are amazing. Millie came back took our drink order as we decided on what to eat. Drink in hand she took our order one person and anti-pasta salad, another a pastrami Stromboli and the other spaghetti and meatballs. Food arrived pretty quickly. The anti-pasta was piled high, but on a small plate making it a little challenging. The Stromboli looked good but there was not much meat in the sandwich which my guest was disappointed. The spaghetti and meatballs was a large portion for the price however, had too much sauce. The meatballs were delicious and Millie was a attentive server. We might consider going back to see if our next experience is any different.

    The confirmed Open Table reservation was worthless - at least the night we ate there. We were put on a waiting list. When finalky got a table, no server for 15 minutes, so we foynd 2 open seats at the bar where service was great, but food was awful. Unfortunately, like several restaurants, they are obviously struggling with staffing.

    Don’t bother… this place is terribly managed. They take “reservations’ on Open Table but please know that they do not honor them. They have no real host/hostess at the front, you may wait 10 - 15 minutes for someone to greet you at the entrance only to wait in line behind others who are walk-ins. Your reservations time slot will pass while you just wait to check in and it is even more disconcerting to hear the “hostess” continue to tell people who had reservations that “they don’t really do reservations because [they] have walk-ins.” I kept hearing the Seinfeld episode playing in my head…. ‘You can take the reservation, but you need to HOLD the reservation. Anyone can just TAKE reservations…’😄😁 Ridiculous.

    Wanted Italian after golf. Was able to get a time. Got a place to set. Service good got our in reasonable amount of time. I had manicotti which I haven’t had made for a while. Very bland, could not distinguish the three cheeses the sauce was worse. No spices very watery, tomatoey. Due to the fact we hadn’t eaten anything on the course and we were hungry. We all felt it was very blah. Doubt when I go back to Palm Springs area we are going to say,” hey let’s go eat at Tuscanos” nope I doubt we say that. Service was good.

    Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Staff was rude and even though there was plenty of tables available, they made us sit at the bar. Food was cold and was not what we ordered, but the staff was so rude we just ate what they brought so that we could get out of there.

    A lucky find for us as we were visiting from out of town. The pizza was delicious. I would definitely return the next time we visit.

    Pizza was outstanding! We sat in the bar area so it was lively, which did not bother us at all. Service and attention was outstanding. Nice casual night out.

    Our reservation was not honored - the hostess claimed her manager could not find it even when I showed it to her on my phone. We were told we would have to wait 20 minutes, the same time we were given when we walked in before saying we had a reservation. The staff was snotty and not professional. Our reservation meant nothing on your app. We won’t be back.

    We had lunch in the bar area with the Bartender being very attentive. Our intention was to have Pasta dishes. But when we walked in, we noticed customers’ pizzas 🍕 and totally changed our minds. They looked awesome and tasted great. We were very happy and ended up with leftovers.

    Walked in and immediately became clear that they were understaffed. Hostess kept asking who was next and when it came to our turn, she turned to the next party and appeared more interested in seating them despite our reservation. We decided to just leave at that point. Won’t be returning.

    Perhaps our expectations were too high, given all the positive reviews, but our experience here was rather disappointing. Service was sub-par and not very attentive. Someone (not our server) brought us two orders of the appetizer we ordered, rather than just the one we had requested. The pizza crust was so soggy, you could not lift a small slice to eat it, it just drooped too much. The taste was okay. The dressing on the Caesar salad tasted like watery ranch. My partner ordered a pasta dish with sausage and meatballs and it arrived with sausage but no meatballs. Someone dropped the food off and ran; no one ever came back to check on us, so we could not make them aware of the error. We waiting awhile, but eventually decided to eat it. We were charged extra for the meatballs we did not receive. That dish was okay but not great. The best thing - and we would recommend these - was the gouda cheese ball appetizer. They were yummy. Based on this experience overall, however, this is not a place to which we would return, which is unfortunate.
