Whilst the food and service were amazing especially the truffle pasta special both my wife and I were disappointed that our anniversary was not acknowledged in any way despite it being noted on the reservation.
What could have been a wonderfully memorable evening turned out to be very good instead
Wonderful evening with exceptional service. From soup to nuts the food exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to dine here again.
good gluten free menu, daughter with celiac did not get sick
Very nice meal. Our waitress was very attentive, although she made us feel a little bit rushed.
The mea was delish !
Lovey mea but felt a little hurried.
Service was great but the food was disappointing.
Awful experience. The food has no flavor. The bolognese was tasteless.
Service was actually terrible
My family and I have eaten at many restaurants in Boston and I must say that our impromptu visit to the Tuscan Kitchen was an outstanding culinary experience! The manager Charlie is probably one of the best if not the best manager that we have ever experienced and our server Johnnie was as equally skilled. This restaurant emits class and the service is the epitome of upscale. Mr. Faro should be proud of them for being such a great compliment and embassadors of the brand! Thanks for everything, but a very special thank you to Charlie! Kudos to management for their hiring choices🙏🏽🙏🏽
Amazing manager. We showed up after being on the waitlist over an hr online. They were so apologetic and gave us a free app and sat us as soon as we walked in! Atmosphere was great… food was really good. Bar service was a little slow as they were busy. Would go back just because Charlie, the manager, was great!!
We booked our 45th anniversary dinner and the staff could not have been more kind. We got glasses of Prosecco from them, a Congratulatory card signed by the waitstaff, and a lovely surprise dessert. It was more than we ever expected and we appreciated it very much. Kudos to them!
We had a fantastic time at the restaurant. My only complaint was that our server wasn't very attentive. She was very busy and it was hard to get her attention so we could order. It took 20 minutes just to get an appetizer order in. But the food was incredible and our server was very polite and didn't forget a thing.
Great atmosphere. Happy with food choices and kids menu is an amazing value!
We ate inside which is an entirely different experience than their outdoor setting. We enjoyed everything about the experience. I was concerned that things would be off because of COVID but all was good. Food was delish and service attentive without being intrusive.
Starting with the positive- the ambience, location and service was great! We went on a Wednesday night and the noise level was non existent- not many people dining. I was there with my 6 year old son and husband. The food came out quickly and service was smooth. The food was just mediocre. Son's pasta was great- al dente and fresh parmesan. I ordered flounder over polenta. Flounder was overcooked and the whole meal was salty. My husband ordered pasta Bolognese and the pasta was overcooked. We also ordered an arugula salad and it was dripping with dressing. I rarely write reviews but felt like things need to improve. It's such a great location for a restaurant and the size of the venue is huge- though it makes sense why it was pretty quiet there.
Brought my boyfriend for his birthday. It was convenient as we were staying at Yotel across the street. They had the staff sign a card and brought us champagne for the celebration. Kindest service I’ve received in a long time AND the food was excellent to top it off. Would highly recommend.
very accommodating to children and super nice service!
Can’t wait until next visit! Every dish from start to finish was a winner.
We asked for lunch one ingredient not to be included in our meal due to allergies, the request was not honored.,we ordered one additional item that was never served,
Visiting from out of state and had to grab a small plate and cocktail before catching the ferry home. Food and atmosphere was wonderful but service was average.
Really excellent food, scenic view, great service. Will return!
Beautiful restaurant, great views. The food was delicious, and Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive!
Wonderful dinner with old friends
Great experience at Tuscan Kitchen. Visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Mentioned this on my OpenTable reservation. Tuscan went out of their way to make it special. The view on the bar side is wonderful. Food was very good but the service is what put them over the top. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.
We attempted to sit at the outside restaurant (it is listed as seating until 11) at 9pm and was told they were closed for the evening. It was empty. We the went into the restaurant and asked the hostess for a table for 4. She told us it was completely booked for the evening, but the restaurant was pretty empty. I went online at 9:20 and booked a reservation for 9:30. I walked back up to the desk at 9:30 and she said they had to clear a table for us and would seat us. We then sat at a table that had been set all along. Very odd service from the front staff, but the food and waiter was great.
As soon as we walked the host was quick attentive as well as the service. We felt that we were a little rushed by the server to order main course while we were waiting for appetizers but we can understand that. Our main issue was the food. We ordered tuna tartare and it was tasteless, the fromaggio and hams was ok. The meatball appetizers average , more on the bland side and the ravioli were slightly over cooked. The lobster ravioli was tastier than the veal but overall ok, nothing impressive. We had to ask for the server to retire dishes because we were already in our main course served as all the empty appetizer plates were in the table and we had little space . Overall it was average to my surprise.
Great selection of meals and our waiter Arturo was great to us. I’m glad I came here for my birthday.
Great Food, but it must be very hard to get good staff. Waiter AWOL, other staff couldn't speak english.
this was an amazing experience, this was my first time coming here and from the time i arrived to the time i left the staff and waiters were absolutely amazing. the service was top notch and the food was delicious! i cant find anything to complain about because everything was perfect. will definitely be coming back soon!
What made our night was the service . Our server was so courteous and nice.
The food was ok the appetizers really good as well as the drinks.
I would go just for apps and drinks again
Ordered the Florentine steak for 2 (bistecca fiorentina). While the sides were excellent, given the price and the menu description, I was expecting something a bit more authentic. Compared to my prior experience with the authentic dish, the steak was very under seasoned and seems to have been browned in a pan with butter and not charred as it is traditionally prepared. The steak was also quite unevenly cooked, as we ordered medium rare, and almost half was very rare. Overall it was a good dish, though in my opinion it was a poor execution of the dish it was claiming to be.
Service was good, albeit a bit slow, though I feel the wait staff were stretched thin (and I can hardly blame them, given how crowded the place was).
Overall, the food was good, prices were a touch high, and if you've had real Florentine steak before, don't order it here because you will be disappointed.
Everything was good. I’d come come back the Tomohawk steak again!
Waiter was awful
Good food. Great service. A bit overpriced but it is the Seaport... so that should be expected most places.
Great, high-class place for dinner. The shrimp scampi was delicious!
My pasta dish was horrible. Honestly tasted like the frozen bertollis pasta in a bag, but cost 5 times that amount.
Other then the server disappearing at various times (most of all when we wanted the check). This was very good food and great ambience. We will go back there again (hopefully with a better server).
Great place. Good service. Good food. Thank you
Food was awesome. Waiter was a wet towel with no personality. A couple of items we ordered from the menu were not available. Ambiance wasn’t great.
The food was the best, and the service was first rate.
Great food, espresso martinis could be colder/stronger. Service a little slow took us 15 minutes to pay our bill.
