Wonderful evening at Tuscan Kitchen. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious!
It was fine. Trout dish of the day was good, salmon was very good, rabbit dish was just ok: yet broccoli rabe was bitter (should have soaked it first in ice water before sautéing) and just steamed with no sautée imparted flavor, rabbit seamed just boiled or stewed with no dear or caramelization. Needs work. For the price and expectations based on other reviews, I was disappointed.
I did a reservation and I wait more than 1 hour to seat
Great food. Busy because it was Valentine’s Day but overall a great time.
Waited 25 mins to be seated even with a reservation. Not a great start but the delicious food made up for it!
My lady and I enjoyed ourselves. Although it was a little pricey, it was well worth seeing the smile on my Lady Valentine's face, and I'll be back.
we have dined at this restaurant many times this was the first time that the service was bad we had to wait for our food while other guest that came in after us got their meals and working on desert while we sat their with nothing in front of us, and all we got was a free desert,
I ordered my steak medium and it was red. Had to wait for the waiter to come around and send it back... only for it to be returned 2 minutes later, still red, and without all my sides that were on my plate, so then I couldn’t eat those at all. He never came back around to ask if it was fine. Couldn’t eat my uncooked steak, lost my sides to the kitchen, and had to wait forever for the waiter each time. For what we paid we’re never going back!
It was a wonderful place to dine at for Valentine’s Day. The food was excellent, our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. They also had the privilege to hold our bags for the evening. I would recommend this place for any other occasion.
Food came out too fast
The room and the view were great. The service is top notch. The food was under spiced and not well balanced.
We had a wobbly table upon getting seated but the server moved us immediately to a better table, upon request. From that point forward, food & service was fantastic.
Way too overpriced for what you get!! Mushroom ravioli without mushrooms (what the heck??!!), parmesan asparagus without parmesan (a total joke!), ordered a Etna Rosso wine and received an Aglianico!!! Sooo disappointing! The tuna tartare was really good, but not enough to justify the bill.

For starters - the food was excellent. From the apps, to the entrees, to the dessert.
The service on the other hand - eek. The moment we checked in for our reservation, the hostesses were not friendly. A few of us arrived early so we sat at the bar for drinks - our bartender was excellent! After all the guests arrived, we sat at our table and our waiter promptly brought water over... and then was gone for about 20 minutes. He hadnt asked if anyone needed drinks even though about half the table didnt have cocktails/wine/etc. Overall service seemed to be rather slow. Two of our guests had ordered a drink at the bar and then the same drink later while eating dinner - and it was made completely different. Our waiter and (I assume) a manager tried to tell them they ordered something different at the bar (they did not).
Bottom line - absolutely go for the food. Don't expect much from service.

Disappointing at best. The plates, (we ordered grilled salmon, 1/2 roast chicken and lobster ravioli)although nicely presented came out dry and tasteless. Very expensive for very ordinary food experience.
Every part of our experience at Tuscan Kitchen was superb. Prior to our reservation, we had two extra people join us, and upon calling, they were extremely accommodating to extend our reservation. We had a great table. Taylor, our server was extremely helpful, efficient, and friendly. All of our appetizers, wine, and entrees were excellent. We loved the food. Great restaurant!

Service started great then was very slow and casual. Food was good to average. Overall just average, not bad but not so good I’d rush back

We had to wait for 20 min, despite having a reservation. Hostess was not having a good night, and was rude and abrupt.
We were seated and forgotten about for 20 minutes before someone came by to ask if we had been helped. Once engaged, the server was friendly and helpful, despite being obviously busy.
Wait time for food was longish, though it was a busy Saturday night. The food ranged from bad to great. Gnocchi with short rib Ragu was excellent, as was the bread and pizza. A grilled filet mignon was average, and grilled jumbo shrimp were so tough no more than 1 bite was eaten. (They were taken off the bill)
Very hit and miss, but overall better Italian food can be found in the city for much lower prices at other establishments.
Sat in the high top chairs infront of the kitchen. Val our server was amazing and recommended the Frutti di Mare it was delicious. The manager came over and asked how our meal was . 10/10 would recommend.
Nice place. Great pasta dishes and wine selection. Service was friendly and fast. A little touristy, so prices reflect that, but I’d go back
Birthday dinner here was great!
Every month my boyfriend and I do date night. I came across this restaurant from Phantom Gourmet. I am overall satisfied I went to this location. I will return again and look forwarding to eating the amazing pasta.

I took my son out to lunch, but each time I come here it’s the same. At first you might think it’s like a fancy cafeteria because it’s so open...you’d want it to be more small and cozy...but then the food comes, and the service is spot on and you’re taken aback because it’s wayyyyy better than you’d imagine. Last visit we both had the sirloin with the gnocchi and blue cheese sauce (I would never eat plain blue cheese) and it was delicious.
Yes, I would recommend Tucson Kitchen in the Seaport. Can't beat the location! But don't get the organic roasted chicken! We had the halibut that was very good and the roasted chicken. The chicken tasted like two-day old, reheated rotisserie chicken! Dry, dry, dry... We are pretty sure it was left over from New Year's eve and just microwaved! Yuck! I certainly wouldn't serve that to my guests. Tuscon Kitchen - you can do better than that.
The service was non existent.We showed up on time and the was no host to be found after 10 minutes a frazzled host appeared, it was down hill from there. The restaurant was very slow not many people! The waiter showed up after 15 minutes. Then the only good part of the night was the hot Italian bread .Food was not good meatballs were bland pizza was just as bad,but the worst part of the meal was the scallops they were so rubbery I couldn’t eat them the waiter didn’t even ask if we liked our meal , I didn’t complain because there was no point we were there for hours! OVER PRICED And NOT GOOD.
What a fabulous New Years' lunch! My cousin recommended Tuscan Kitchen and it was delightful! Delicious paninis - each of the 4 of us had a different one, and all were exceptional. Fabulous wine list! The restaurant is beautiful, and the decor reflects the beauty of Italy. Service was a tad slow, but we thought it was because they were extra busy on New Years Day. Our server was excellent! We would definitely return the next time we're in Boston.
we had a great dinner at Tuscan kitchen on the New Year's Eve. - a night that you would expect delays we sat right a way and had an great meal and service.
We ate here on New Years Eve and the food and drinks were excellent as usual. We arrived early and our table was waiting for us. We ordered martinis and a few appetizers and were not rushed by our server at all to order entrees. I had the pear martini, fried calamari app, and mozzarella en carroza app, all of which were great. I had the short rib and pancetta ravioli in a red wine demi glacé for my entree and loved every bite. Highly recommend!
We recommended the resturant to a few friends (doctors and attorneys who could use some good r&r) since then :-)
