Food was good but lobster ravioli was too spicy due to red pepper flakes that were too abundant. Fairly noisy once crowd starts around 7pm. Parking near restaurant on icy nights is tough. Service was excellent albeit a bit rushed as our entrees came when we were still eating salads.
Long 1 hour wait beyond reservation time.
even though I had reservations and I understand that it was Valentine's day the wait was horrible, that was just to be seated. our waitress was horrible, she was very unorganized. our food took forever to arrive and when it did it was cold and over cooked. our waitress could use some retraining! in customer service. at the end of the night I was just glad to pay and run out of there!!! horrible experience will never ever go in there again! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!
The reservation was for 7:15 but they sat us at 7:45 ???? The food was great but the restaurant seemed VERY Smokey ??? Overall I was happy!!!!
I rarely write review for anything. We went there for Valentine’s Day dinner. Made reservation at 7. When we got there on time, It was clearly overbooked. Lots of people w reservations were waiting. We finally got seated at 7:40. (What is the point to make a reservation?!) We ordered pretty quick, but food never came. Almost one hr later, appetizer finally came. Another hr went by, the manager came and informed us the main course order never went through. And they did not have the veal I ordered! We finally finished dinner - chicken salad instead of veal 10:15! The manager did take the main course out of the bill. But What a bad taste!!! I was wondering what the manager will think if this happens to him when he goes to a restaurant. If you can’t honor a reservation then don’t take one!
Poor planning interns of reservations, over a 45 minute wait. Saw a number of people with forgotten orders and wrong food, made for overall experience less enjoyable. Very disappointed.
It was my daughters birthday and I chose this place. I won’t come again. There were so many staff yet the food took forever and then my chicken was practically raw, they took it off the bill. Then I got another meal which took much too long as well. No other compensation was made and the service should’ve been better given the amount of staff.
Won’t come again, the prices were too high too have such poor service and food.
Being Valentine's day we had a reservation but still had to wait about 45 mins for a table. The table we got was super small and pushed up against a side wall so we kept smacking our elbows into it as we ate. Service was ok but slow because of the crowd. Food was good though but pricey of course. I'd come back but not for Valentine's day and I would definitely request a different table.
Food was good. Service was just alright. I was never offered more oil with the bread and never offered extra cheese on the pasta where the table next to me did. I love the Tuscan Kitchen just wasn’t the best experience I have had.
First time visiting. Dining room was very noisy and crowded. Food was delicious, but we waited an hour and 45 minutes because their ovens were not working. Took 20 minutes to get our to go boxes and the bill. After speaking with a manager who said they would come out meals due to the inconvenience, the bill was for the full amount. The server was obviously new and not very confident, but on a busy night none of this was her fault so we left her a decent tip anyways.
Great valentines dinner
We had a pleasant dinner as always and the food was fabulous.
Food was phenomenal! Our waitress, Cheryl, was amazing, and I would request her in the future. Oh, dessert was so yummy!!!
Although the food was excellent and our waitress very good, it took 20 minutes to get a cocktail after ordering it. That is inexcusable. ( the waitress kept checking on it so it was not her fault).
I also was not overly impressed with the selection of meals. We did have the Salmon and the Shrimp Scampi both of which were wonderful
Excellent from start to finish. I love when a restaurant takes reservations and has the table ready and seats you immediately - exactly how TK operates. Service and food were top notch. I highly suggest this restaurant.
Would i recommend it to a friend, not based on this past visit. Waitress took order then lost the slip she wrote it on and had to retake it. Appetizer was over cooked somewhat, my meal was under cooked. They said that they would take it off the bill. Decided to order desert and cupacino which came to the table stone cold and no desert. At that point we asked for the bill before it got any worse. Well the bill came and it had the table next to use food on it as well. So much for checking to make sure you remove the meal and have the right check. You would have thought after the first mistake the attention to detail would have gone up, it just kept declining. So much for a special place
Knew it was going to be expensive but figured it was going to be a "you get what you pay for" situation. It was not.
Excellent food ...great atmosphere... staff was fantastic
Service was great. Ambiance was great. Ease in making reservations on line was great. The bread which is offered is wonderful as is the dipping oil. Portions are good size, usually enough for two meals. I ordered the chicken parm and the chicken was overdone. It was very dry. For $27.00 I think that you could at least offer a small house salad.
Just my two cents
very good service and atmosphere, food was good, sauce was very good, a little pricey but very nice place to eat
Found the food to be OK. A bit higher priced than I think it warrants. Ordered Ceasar Salad. Says it comes with white anchovies (should say anchovy - that's right 1). Asked the waitress about this. She said they only give one because "they are expensive". She did bring more to the table. Other items on the menu were not as advertised, as well. Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Pancetta (no pancetta to be found). On the Osso Buco entrée, it lists saffron risotto - no saffron or risotto (just rice)… I must say I was abit disappointed.
This has been our go to place for special occasions for several years. We have been a bit disappointed that our special request for a fireside table was not fulfilled but I understand that it may not have been available. On of the things that we were disappointed in and had been something that has been a comeback reason was the very delicious soups, which were not available this time.
Not comfortable, too busy, excellent service, food average, too expensive.
Had the tuna appetizer which was $12 for just over an ounce of tuna. I’ve eaten better tuna at the local sushi restaurant! The bathroom is downstairs and the floor was filthy! The bottom level smelled like a sewer.
Amazing food. Our waitress Antonella was phenomenal!
A little pricey but worth it. Everything was very good. We had filet mignon, lobster ravioli, cannoli trio for dessert. Yummm 😊
usually eat at the burlington store but was in the neighborhood so went to the Salem restaurant. Got what I usually got . steak tips with faro. Steak tips were full of gristle and the tips weren't on a skewer, so the faro was sitting in the juice. Just not well prepared. Would not return to that location.
Our Tuscan experience from start to finish was what I was expecting for the overall quality of the restaurant as well as past experience with my husband. I sincerely appreciate it, especially after his delayed flight coming home. So, thank you! I plan to return for our son to join us around Valentine’s Day, and with girlfriends for a girls night in the near future!
Went back to see if it was any better and unfortunately we had one pretty gross meal. The kids lemon chicken with broccoli didn’t come with chicken, only chicken skin, yes chewy chicken skin. My son lost his appetite. We did let our server know and a manager came over and apologized. The meal was taken off the bill but we went to eat not have a terrible experience and lose our appetites. The cook never should’ve thrown left over chicken scraps/skin in a kids meal, nevertheless, in any meal.
Tuscan Kitchen was tasty, and was very nice for our anniversary, but a little pricey for the amount that you get. I would go back if others wanted to go, or if I was in the mood to go back there.
We always enjoy our dining experiences at Tuscan Kitchen. Great service, good food and creative drinks.
Gnocchi and boar was fantastic but the calamari and Cesar salad were lack luster
Delicious ..... the arancini were almost as good as my Aunt Ida’s! The gnocchi were amazing - crispy on the outside and perfectly creamy on the inside.
Be sure to go next door to the market.
Always a treat to dine and eat here! Disappointed that we didn’t get the seat next to fireplace that we requested, this time.
Overall good food. Nice atmosphere. The bread was good. Calamari can be skipped. The gnocchi was good. I recommend getting a couple small plates to try a little of this, a little of that...
We always have a great time there. The food is too unbelievable good.
Great god, great service, just an overall great dining experience that we get each time we go there!
when you order a $37 steak and it comes out tough as shoe leather with more fat than meat on it and the manager can not even come over to your table to apologies ,Just the waiter saying he took it off tthe bill
Service was okay but for the prices they charge you would expect better food and a more concerend management staff
Great food as always but service is crazy slow; waitress was fine.
Amazing food and very good glass of wine. Very, Very crowded and the parking was tough, but you have to go in with that expectation.
