Helena is the most attentive and knowledgeable server! She makes helpful suggestions and is eager to make your experience a positive one! Ask for her when you go. As usual, food is superior and the kitchen is able to accommodate special requests.

We went the the Tuscan Kitchen in Salem for my wifes birthday. They just released a new menu, and our meals were beyond compare.

My daughter and I each had the Lobster Ravioli which was to die for, and my wife had the Salmon, with absolutely no complaints.

Serving sizes were quite acceptable.

During dessert they treated my wife to a hazelnut cannoli, with candle . :-)

Atmosphere, waitstaff, service, menu... absolutely nothing to complain about.

New dinner menu has some nice additions. Food and service were good, as usual. Easy decision to dine here.

Our server was awesome. Due to dietary issues, we can be a pain at times, she was very patient. Food was well prepared and delicious. We celebrated my wife's birthday and she received a complimentary cannoli!

Been to Tuscan Kitchen many times. Today's experience was less than satisfying.

The appetizers took almost 30 minutes to come out. Additionally one of our dishes Salmon over artichokes came out as Salmon over arugula. Big difference especially since the person that got the dish does not like arugula. The waitress stated that she did not know why that happened but did not offer any remedy. It could have been completely sent back but lunch for all would have been delayed.

Unfortunate experience but have been to Tuscan many times and will go back.

Went to lunch with my wife for her birthday. We both had the special of the day and it was really unique and a taste treat. It's a wee bit on the pricey side, but the ambiance and the service is excellent. Makes a "special" place for celebrations however big or small. Crystal, our waitress, was attentive without being intrusive and very personable. Could have/should have eaten less. Made the day perfect for a nap.

We eat here often. It is noisy but we enjoy the food and especially the bread. My husband has recently become a vegan for health reasons. We did find one dish he could eat and servers were careful to be sure they understood. It would be good to offer vegan options already prepared.

Service was was unnecessarily slow. Beginning was great but the end was terribly slow. We asked for a desert menu and didn’t receive it for 15 mins then once received it was another another 15 min before we ordered. We asked for our check when the desert came. I immediately gave her my credit card and it was another 15 mins before I got it back to sign. My boyfriend went and got the car bc he was warm being near the fireplace. He waited 10mins while I waited to sign. We (party of 2) also were placed between 2 or 3 large parties that were celebrating and very loud. We could barely hear each other.
Always had great experiences previously. Thinking that this was an off night for us.

I dine here only a few times a year with my most recent visit three months ago. Friday night’s visit was marred by a harried waiter who wasn’t as prompt with his promises as he could have been (specifically: He offered to bring fresh grated parm and took so long to come back that we were halfway thru our meals...we had to ask twice for a beverage). He was nice enough but not attentive which has not been a problem in the past. We weren’t very comfortable as our two-person table was between two very large groups that both had babies at their tables (odd for a Friday night).

I had the lemon garlic scampi appetizer and had 2 colossal shrimp added to make it more of a meal. I ended up having 2 shrimp leftover with some of the bread. When I got home, I opened the box to discover that the waiter put in the 2 shrimp but didn't include the leftover sauce and garlic that I specifically left on my plate to reheat with the leftover shrimp. I really enjoyed the sauce which makes it tasty instead of just two plain shrimp to eat. I was a little disappointed, however, next time I will check the to go box before I leave the restaurant. Other than that, I highly recommend this appetizer.

Always a great experience at Tuscan! Love it for date nights and for family dates - only amazing restaurants can manage to cater to both and make them all exceptional. Their servers, food, drinks and menu are the best!

Overall experience was ok. The food was terrific. Service was poor, our server was waiting on a larger group and we paid the price. We waited 15 minutes just to put in a drink order. Our water and bread server came to our rescue and took our first drink order. I had to ask twice for the bill. The server was very pleasant and promised to make it up to us, but never really did. We had to flag her down to place another drink order. The menu was limited with no specials, but the food was very good, Caesar Salad awesome, entrees were fabulous.

We celebrated our daughter's eighteenth birthday at the Salem NH location. Everything was amazing & the wait staff jumped through hoops to make sure a dairy allergy was tended to; they were beyond accommodating!!! This was the first visit for a few family members that joined us for lunch and they were pleasantly surprised as well. The live music was a great added touch! Other birthday celebrations will be celebrated here in the future!

While the food remains consistent, I was disappointed in the overall experience. the service was slow, not well coordinated. We waited a significant amount of time For drinks and dessert. Didn’t seem busy. The table wa uneven and rocked whenever my husband leaned on it. The room was cold, there was a vent in the ceiling blowing cold air at us. The overall experience for the price tag was a real disappointment.

The reservation was key as we got seated right away and it was upstairs on the 2nd floor. It was near a drafty window unfortunately but I got to remote start my car when the meal was done. Fresh bread, oil, fried cheese app and ceaser salad were good. Dinner, the talagagi steak was over cooked (we ordered medium rare and it was medium well) and supposed to be porcini mushroom crusted but that was not apparent either. We ordered a side of polenta that arrived late to the table. Tiramisu had a paper lining underneath unfortunately. There brand super tuscan wine was great. We love the place despite the above, we will most likely return.

We were very pleased with Tuscan Kitchen. Our server was fantastic - I so wish I could remember her name! She was just attentive enough without being smothering, and answered any questions we hand about both food and beverages. We were happily surprised with the calamari appetizer / lightly fried, not at all chewy. The salads were generously portioned and fresh. Each of us had a pasta course for our main dish, and they were wonderful.

I've been to Tuscan Kitchen 2-3 times over the past few years and I'm sorry to say that this experience rated the lowest of all. The service was rushed and not very professional. Server brought us bottled still water twice instead of the tap water we all asked for. She wasn't keeping a close watch on our table so we had to catch her eye to get service. Too bad, I hope it was just anomaly .

We were a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening and made our reservation through Open Table, which worked fine but our table location was bad. It was not a busy night in the restaurant and there were many other tables that were much better. Our table, too me is one you save for the last table to use when its really busy. It was right in the walkway near the food preparation area and we were constantly being bumped and much to close the the table near us.

I know TK is opening new restaurants all over and I hope what we experienced isn't because they have stretched themselves a bit too much all at once and there isn't anyone paying attention.
We'll try TK one more time because our earlier visits were so good... but I hope our next visit is a better experience or it will probably be out last.

The food was great, as was the service. I had a reservation at 6 for 4 people and had to wait. I thought it was odd but then I noticed the dining room was pretty full. We were finally seated (around 6:15 or so) UPSTAIRS. Much to my disappointment, there were plenty of empty tables available which led me to think why we had to wait to be seated especially since we had a reservation. Other than that little hiccup, it was a perfect evening......
