Our server was amazing. He spent time with us. Explained everything and made the dining experience awesome!

The drinks were amazing off the signature cocktail menu.

Tuscan Tini and Burnt Orange Manhattan were amazing!!!!

We had the grilled octopus, duck ravioli and cheese cappelletti from the specials menu.

Duck and Cappelletti was amazing. Octopus was good very well but was a bit salty for our pallet.

But a fantastic experience with a fantastic server.

I was a little mad because I made resavations online and the conformation told me directions to the New Tuscan Market near the Mall at Rockingham! Fought for a parking space and after all that they told us we were at the wrong location.
Got back into the car and drove to the Main St. Location and when we checked in we still had to wait another 30 minutes! Why make early resavations if they can’t sit you within 15 minutes!
The place was nice but way to loud at the hostess desk. Could not hear the hostess talking to us about our seats.
I was very disappointed that the staff, including our waiter was not wearing a mask. I know it’s not required in the town but it’s just simply respect!
Some workers did have them on.
Our waiter was very good and the food was too!

Great Ambiance and certainly had a good number of very competent staff on hand. Nice pace to dinner. Started with a drink at the bar. My wife had an Expresso Martini and I had a Vodka Tonic. The Martini was very good according to my wife. The hostess came to the bar to let us know our table was ready. Nice table near, but not too near, the fireplace. We looked over the rather extensive wine list and asked for two tastings (We hate to order a bottle and have to send it back). Didn’t like either so we ordered a nice Claret that we are familiar with. Ordered two appetizers, a beet salad and fried mozzarella sticks. Beet salad was short on the beets but the mozzarella sticks were excellent. I had also ordered a Burnt Orange Manhattan which was so good I had another! So far, so good. Not spectacular but good. Unfortunately, the main courses we ordered were rather disappointing. My wife ordered the butternut ravioli while I ordered the Bolognese Pasta. We both ordered an extra meatball to go with the dinners. The pasta portions for both were dry and overcooked as were the meatballs. The Bolognese was in need of some serious sauce to make it tastier. We only ate half of each before saving room for a dessert. My wife picked a chocolate ganache cake that was pretty good (I had a couple of bites but didn’t think it was THAT good).

We’ve eaten at TC a few times and the pasta is usually very good so I’m going to give them a pass this time. Also, they may have suffered by comparison as we ate a fabulous Italian dinner the previous weekend in Boston’s North End.

Pro’s: Great ambiance, good dinner and serving pace, attentive staff, great Manhattan’s, good value.

Con’s: Food could have been better, need to dim the lighting in the dining area, good selection of wines.

Glass half empty or glass half full? Okay, so I stated that my wife’s Expresso Martini was ‘very good’ and my Manhattan was also ‘good’. This is true but …. Can you please FILL the glass up????

Service was great. Ordered a bottle of super tuscan that was good. But mark up for a bottle is crazy. Ordered an $80 bottle to find out its only a $30 bottle at the market… filet was only fair, not great. Butternut squash ravioli was good. Surprisingly the cannolis are not that good for a fine Italian establishment. Had better from Tripoli pizza and bakery for much less.

The place was empty which surprised us. Our seating was much better than the online link said it would be. There was only one other couple in our whole section.
The food was served a bit cold which was disappointing. The cost is fairly high for lunch. Four entries, two of us had a single glass of wine, the bill was over $200. Just disappointing. We’re not likely to return for lunch -

Really good food. Pricey. Our waitress brought a bottle water to the table, and didn’t explain we’d be charged. She told us it be easy to keep a bottle at the table, so we could pour as much as we needed, not that we’d be charged.

We have gone here often and always get the octopus. This time it was like chewing leather and had no charging. They offered another appetizer and we took calamari. That was so salty we couldn't eat it. Reluctantly we refused anything else and chose dinner. My chicken parm looked overcooked and the cheese was not melted. Breading was soggy. Not even hot! Wife got mushroom ravioli and usually is great. This was swimming in a wine reduction sauce that was almost black. My sauce was basically tomatoes from a blender. Seems the quality and focus on what made the restaurant what it was is gone. More focus is on the village and making money there then focusing on your roots. We won't be back. Portsmouth Tuscan Steak House is much better and if that also goes downhill you lose my family business all together. Fix your kitchen staff. Focus on fresh and made to order.

The food was sooo delicious! There were four of us - we had calamari for our appetizer and it was some of the best we’ve had. For the entree we had salmon, filets, and the braised short rib and everything was amazing! Also had a variety of cocktails and they were also very tasty (and quite strong!!) We definitely recommend this restaurant!

Service was really slow and it seemed like tables around us where getting more attentive care. We had to ask for water, then a water refill, for bread, and utensils when the dessert came out. My chicken parm was warm to cool. The Bolognese was the best dish out of the order as it was hot. Ravioli was also very hard at the edge.

The other night I ordered the Brasato Di Cinghaiale (wild boar ragu with gnocchi) which I had totally enjoyed in the past. I was surprised when the plate was put in front of me, it looked like a tablespoon full of brown gravy with three tiny cubes of mushroom on top of the gnocchi. With absolutely NO meat. When I asked the waitress about the plate, her response before walking away was “All our meals are pre-portioned”. The food at Tuscan Kitchen used to be memorable in a good way. Not so much anymore. Don’t know if we will go back.

We waited over 10 minutes for a server to come take our drink order. Food was good. Service was so slow. Took a while to get the check and pay. Two couples around us left after no service. Another couple next to us asked a server twice to be served and the lady kept telling him that his server would be over soon.

We went on a Monday night at 7. The place was packed and loud. Very lovely but the warmth of the room made it feel like a big Italian family get together, with strangers. The only drawback to this was that a few items on the menu weren’t available. Have never been denied on 1st choice of entrée and first choice of dessert, but it’s a popular place, so I guess it is to be expected.

The food is fantastic. Portions are good, which takes the sting away from the premium prices. Freshly in house made pasta is worth the premium. Everything from appetizer to dessert was excellent.

If you are looking for an intimate date spot, might not be the place. But if you are looking for amazing food and a lively atmosphere, go to Tuscan Kitchen.

We had a reservation and the table was ready on time. Lovely venue. Menu was limited and no specials. As they were out of the one dish my daughter did find interesting she went with a plains Caesar salad. The dressing was bland. Service was rushed and I don’t understand why as there was no waiting line. My chicken park was good but not great.

Outstanding!! Took my mom for her birthday and the whole experience was a pleasure from the moment we were seated to the end of our meal. Our server was friendly, and helpful. She gave us great recommendations from the menu. At the end of the meal, she treated us with a special dessert for her birthday and a glass of champagne. I will be going back soon and will recommend the restaurant to anyone who asks for suggestions.

Loved the “new” bar downstairs, had a lovely server, food came out quick, but baked cod was a bit soggy, and chicken Caesar salad was a lot of lettuce on a plate, no visual appeal. Happy with drinks and bread coarse.

Went here to celebrate the wifes birthday. I thought long and hard before deciding on this restaurant. We have never ate here before and wanted to give it a try. Turned out to be a mistake. Walking through the door the hostess was great, friendly and seated us right away. Looking around, the place appeared worn and tired. Tarnished woodwork, outdated lights, ripped booth seats, railings leading to downstairs bathroom need painting, backdoor in hallway demolished and needs replacement, chairs beat up. The staff is comprised largely of a very young and inexperienced wait staff. Bread took 15 minutes to get after being seated and water was asked for but forgotten and had to be reminded. Calamari was undercooked and warm. Caesar salad was decent. Ordered two filets butterflied, never saw a butterflied steak like this ever. The filet was cut in two and stacked on top of one another, then placed over a mound of mashed potatoes. Presentation was terrible for $53.00 steaks. Back to the bread; it was some of the best I ever had. All in all, the night out was a bust. Not what I expected. I would rather take my $225 and go to the Capital Grill. Save your money, anyone who could give this more than three stars has not ate in high end restaurants. The owners should be ashamed of themselves.

The best thing is the staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was equally as good. My only criticism is the noise level, difficult to have a conversation.
