Been to a couple of these and this one was lackluster and just ok in our opinion.
Birthday for my friend, lovely meal and we ate too much as usual!
First time at any Tuscan Kitchen, greeted by Ed who also turned out to be our waiter. He was very helpful and explained the menu, offered suggestions which were also helpful.
Ed's attention to detail is excellent.
We advised Ed were wanted to have a quiet lunch to talk with our friends and did not want to be rushed, he gave us time to talk seemed to appear at just the right time to clear the table and take our next request. Due to his attention it was a most enjoyable visit with our friends.
The meal was outstanding and would visit again when we meet our friends.
Please thank Ed for his great service.
Great food, great service, accompanied us exactly where we asked and wanted, all around great experience
Enjoyable meal made better by out waiter who was one of the twins. The neighboring table was seated a little closer than I'd prefer. I also felt like my 1/2 chicken and butternut mista was lacking some bulk. Perhaps more butternut or rice or something could be added to it.
Don't recommend. Loud, food was overpriced and made us feel sick, reserved a table weeks in advance and then was seated at the bar.
The food is absolutely amazing. The lobster ravioli and the mushroom ravioli are insanely delicious. Granted my wife and I went on Valentine's Day, the service was subpar. We were seated at 1830 but didn't get our entree until 1950. The server, John, wasn't very attentive. We had to ask for things like drink refills, grated cheese, and bread. The food really keeps us going back.
We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. All of the food was amazing including gluten free mushroom ravioli! Our server was also friendly and offered her recommendations. All around great experience.
The food was phenomenal. The service was attentive and had no issue explaining multiple dishes on the menu to us and even giving us insight on her favorites. Joelle was a wonderful server. Couldn’t have asked for a better date night!!
Great service
I have done catering from here multiple times and it was affordable and fantastic! Unfortunately tonight in the restaurant was a huge disappointment. My family from out of town came in and I was excited to have a good meal that could accommodate 12 people. However it took over 2 hours for our meals to come and then they were undercooked, cold, and not pleasing. Therefore we didn’t bother ordering dessert. And our bill was outrageous for what was ordered ... 1 Star if that...
Everything was perfect.
Very courteous waiter. Food was decent for a chain. Good tomato sauce. Ordered a salad with roasted beets. There were no beets in the salad. I told the waiter and the chef sent me a salad with the beets.
Took a while to get the dessert. We ended up having to cancel the order.
Excellent food, exceptional service, authentic Italian food. Highly recommend!
The chicken parm was awful. You use to get a huge piece of chicken. We had two orders and both were two very small pieces of chicken over cooked with a tablespoon of pasta and Red sauce that had no flavor no seasoning the entire dish was very disappointing. Our waiter Rowan was fantastic and the appetizers were delicious.
Delicious and accommodating. Will definitely be back
We had a 6:15pm reservation. Our seating was fine. Our cocktails and salads were served timely. However, we did not get our dinner served until 7:30pm. Our server a-apologized that the kitchen was baked up. As we heard this, the restaurant was half vull. THey did have a private function going on, which we assumed was the cause for the delay.
We were cisappointed. My dinner did come out hot, but my husbands meal was slightly warm. At that point, we just wanted to eat. The server offered us a free canoli in apaology for the delay - not really a concession for the extended delay.
The latest of many visits to Tuscan Kitchen. It is always enjoyed. Every once in a while something is just a little off, I attribute that to the individual creation of every dish. This kitchen puts out many meals and several locations but does everything fresh so the preparation can sometimes be a little different. The Burrata is excellent. Probably needs a better description on the menu, though their excellent waitstaff would be happy to describe it. This is a mozzarella dish with a creamy ricotta type cheese inside. Wrapped in prosciutto the flavor combinations are amazing. It's an expensive appetizer, but well worth the treat. Arancini are always my favorite. Sometimes they are a little cold in the middle from not being cooked long enough. TK always fixes this if/when it happens. Bolognese was disappointing this last time. Bolognese is a pasta dish with a very complex ragu (meat sauce). The sauce usually cooks for hours and has a deep rich flavor. The pasta (fresh and delicious at TK) is the vessel for the ragu. On my recent visit I felt like the past was dipped in a pot of sauce, shaken clean and plated. I should have had ample sauce to accompany the pasta. Unfortunately this wasn't the case, but I was already full from enjoying other items to worry about having it remade. My tip to everyone is if you're not happy with a meal they WILL fix it if at all possible. TK is not inexpensive but is worth it for the quality and care they put into each dish. On occasion something is off and I can live with that. Great place.
New Years eve
Went for a New Year’s Eve dinner for 2. Excellent menu options, service was solid for a busy day and the food was excellent. Went in expecting to pay a decent amount and to my surprise the value is top notch here. Thank you!
Service was great, server was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine very cordial. Food was delicious, loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Great overall experience
Food was good. Portions were small for the money
We had Christmas Eve dinner, the special Italian Seven Fishes Feast menu. This was an expensive proposition, $65 per person without beverages included. So naturally much was expected. We enjoyed the appetizer Zuppa di pesce , and the next dish of squid and octopus. But elements of these were poorly executed, or at least “underachieved”. Put a crouton on the soup! Cook the cannellini beans to a palatable softness. The linguini with shrimp, next up, was proportionally much too small for a “primo”, leaving one wanting more. And then woefully missing was a course of something green and fresh, like a small Caesar salad, or insalata mista. We went right to the entrée- a square of salmon which was over cooked, and the lobster was mainly a roux stuffing that had a plastic texture.
It’s always a risk to have a prixe fixed menu. This chef would do well with some advanced oversight or a group tasting before offering and pricing a special holiday feast. This menu needed some adjustments, easily correctable, and at this price a necessity.
It was Christmas Eve. Our waiter was fabulous and the food and ambiance were amazing.
My wife and I did their “Feast of the Seven Fishes” special event, with the wine pairing. The fixed menu was very creative. Good pairings with the wine.
The service was rushed...new courses arrived at the table before we were finished with the previous. I mentioned that to our main server, and she fixed it.
I do like the Tuscan Kitchen and will return.
Four people...only 2 dinners came out..we had to wait 10 minutes for the other 2 dinners. Steak dinner was not good...brought out a new one but that wasnt good either so they did credit us! Maybe an off night...still annoying!!
We had an inexperienced waiter and service was slow. The appetizer and the bread course was excellent, the wines were good although slow to arrive. Our food was very late, and we had to ask someone to expedite it so we could get to a concert. It came with seriously charred crusts on the pizzas. This is the first poor experience we have had at TK, and I'm sure it was unusual. We had out of town friends with us, so that was embarrassing. We arrived at 5:45 with a reservation, seated immediately, but had no food at 6:50 when we asked someone to see what was wrong. Bolted our food down and exited at 7:15 for a 7:30 concert.
Had the Thanksgiving Turkey dinner. Very small portion. Hope their regular menu is better. No bread with the meal. Tablespoon of potatoes and stuffing. Was it a good portion of turkey though.
My best friend and I loved this place, I have heard mixed feelings on the one in Burlington MA but this one was excellent. We each split a ravioli (cheese and lobster) and it was delicious. We also split the chicken parm which was huge. We took the most home and enjoyed it the next day. Would visit again!
Our server was great and the food was excellent. Would recommend to all my friends
Very poor all the way around. Will not return.
A great fun and delicious dinner with friends! We had an issue where some plastic packaging wound up in a salad portion but the staff was absolutely fabulous and provided us with a complementary desert sampler for our entire party.
Great Waiter in Eddie, very attentive. We were attending the Show next door. My food was excellent, my wife's was too much pasta sauce after she asked for less... All's good, we thougherly enjoyed!
Server was outstanding. Made our experience great.
I used to recommend your restaurant to others, but you’ve changed so much, including the menu, that it’s just not the same anymore. You got rid of the amazing carpaccio/arugula salad which was the reason I wanted eat there that night. Your pizza’s and some appetizers are smaller, there’s no antipasta dish that has veggies, cheeses & meats all in one...you have to order separately. Crazy for an Italian restaurant not to have a true antipasta dish. There’s no salt & pepper on the table anymore, and if your server is too busy to check on you, you just go without because you don’t want your food to get cold. Olive oil would be a nice plus on the table as well, especially since your olive oil served with bread is now full of olives, garlic, & rosemary, which is very yummy, but there’s not much oil & balsamic in the dish anymore. The one thing my kids love most! Other than that my family enjoyed their meals. I would, however, suggest not adding extra sugar to the butter/sage ravioli dish. The butternut squash ravioli makes it sweet enough that you don’t need to sweeten up the butter & sage sauce which was disappointing, but maybe others like it. Browned butter & sage is such a fabulously simple & unique flavor that maybe it should be kept that way. Maybe just paired with a cheese or mushroom ravioli instead of something sweet...just my 2 cents!
15 yr Anniversary luncheon
Very good food and the waitress was excellent! Will visit again!
Waitress was excellent. Service and food
Superb. We were not rushed out after our meal. We had time to reminisce old times
As a Tuscan regular, I'm happy to report that last night's dinner (a pork special) was even better than every other previous dinner I've had there. They're now offering a regular cod with spinach risotto, which is what I'll try the next time I come! Bravo a tutti, Tuscan Kitchen!
