TusCA Restaurant
Have been there in the past and it was good. This time everything was terrible. Will never go back.
Buffet was inexpensive, but many frozen store lasagnas are better. A la carte menu items were good but over priced.
Birthday day dinner
Made a reservation for 6:30pm and arrived at 6:15 only to be told they wouldn’t seat us until 6:30. Looked around and they were not very busy with several tables open. We could have been seated and had a drink while waiting but instead we hung out in the hotel lobby. Menu has changed since we were last here. Several favorite items were no longer on the menu and now everything is a la Carte. What I ordered was very good but I will probably wait a while until the hotel goes through their “upgrades”. Kinda disappointed! Shouldn’t have changed what was working so well in the first place.
Food was decent for the price, but nothing spectacular.
I would definitely recommend Tusca for their Thanksgiving buffet, but their new limited menu didn’t live up to it.
It was a great Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoyed my time with my family. Service was excellent.
Menu was too limited and pricing was high. Very small portions.
all good...….great service, professional, engaging and expeditious
We had a group of 8 and we were seated quickly. We had a few appetizers, the calamari for $16 was quite small, the prosciutto was much better deal and very tasty. The Wedge salad was excellent. We had a few fish dinners, the pork chop and the tri tip. Over all it was a good dinner.
Guests at the hotel and the food was horrible. Service and staff were amazing and ambiance was great but of the six things we ordered we sent 2 back and struggled through the rest.
Food and selection is fair and extremely over priced and they charge extra for sides as the entre doesn't come with any side! ! Service was very slow and poor with ignorant and rude service people.
TusCa is a gem. The new menu features excellent sides. The honey brussel sprouts were amazing and the scallops were cooked perfectly. Server and host were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
Exceedingly average.
The service was excellent, host, server, chef and manager. The BLT salad was delicious, a great combination of fresh ingredients. We had halibut which was cooked perfectly but the best part of the dish was the brussel sprouts! We could hear the live jazz from the bar but still talk to each other. Highly recommended.
Amazing! Chef Kevin Fisher is brilliant! He elevated simple ingredients into a delicious meal. We can't wait to go back!
The facility took great care of us. The restaurant that you made reservations for us is not open for breakfast or lunch just dinner. So our 1:00 pm reservation was a surprise for us, but they took great care of us in their lobby facility.
But you need to change the listing on Open Table to dinner only.
Thank You
TusCa was excellent. We were there on a very crowded Saturday night and the food and service were excellent. The BLT salad is delicious. The fish special was creative and fresh. The new manager, Nicholas along with the long time hostess, Laida were both gracious in the midst of being busy.
Had a very enjoyable time sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the flatbread and tuna poke at lunch time. Already went back for dinner which was also great. Will definitely add to the list of our favorites.
Terrible service. Very limited menu. Convenience was the most positive factor.
My blue cheese salad was very good but the risoto was no no
Service was excellent but buffet was terrible. Meat was cold. Sides like mashed potatoes, vegetable , other sides were cold. No free champagne as in the past. No warning or heads up of buffet being taken away.
But service was excellent.
Thanksgiving
Great Thanksgiving. The ambiance was a little lacking, but the food was amazing!
Thanksgiving
We enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet. All items were well-prepared. The carving station featured turkey, ham, and prime rib (my favorite). Service was exceptional.
We ate in the restaurant each morning and the buffet was filling with several choices. Again, service was exceptional.
An excellent choice for breakfast and dinner and very convenient if you are staying at the hotel.
Best restaurant turkey I've ever had. Delicious food, cheerful and attentive servers. Very special Thanksgiving feast.
We went away for a birthday weekend. The hotel & restaurant were crowded with people trying to get away from the smoke up north. In spite of how busy it was the staff was friendly, attentive and the food was delicious. There was jazz music playing next door, but it was soft, so you could have a conversation.
I had seafood pasta, it was delicious. My husband had short ribs, he enjoyed his too. It was a nice evening.
I would come back and recommend.
This place gets better each time we visit. New menu as of this week, and it's really good. Nice presentation, great selection and extraordinary service.
For a hotel restaurant, the food was excellant. We had dinner, shared 3 appetizers, and one meal, which was plenty of food for 3 of us staying at the hotel for a conference. The portions are big, and the ingredients high quality. The service was super slow. We had made a reservation, received an email confirmation, but when we arrived were told that there was no reservation. Not to worry, we were the only people there, so we were seated by the windows overlooking the golf course, and quiet for talking. Nice. Then we waited and waited and waited. No wait staff came to the table even though we could see them hanging by the cook's station talking together. No water, no attention at all. People who came in after us were waited on first. Finally, our server came, she was lovely, but not skilled with service. I'd eat there again if I was at the hotel, but wouldn't go out of my way for this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Tusca on 8/28/2018. I had the lamb sirloin and he had the Dungeness crabcakes. Both entrees were delicious. The lamb was very tender, the veggies weren't overcooked and the parsnip mash wasn't salty. Crabcakes were yummy and weren't salty at all. On top of that, our waitress was very attentive. We will be back.
Excellent meal and very nice server. Accommodated splitting meals to share. Very tasty food; huge portions.
Limited menu options. The Ribeye was delicious. The crab cakes were bland and had more breadcrumbs than crab. Pasta was good.
Server (Sarah) was great. Kitchen was slow and confused. Entrees took about 45-50 minutes, they didn’t come as requested and 1 entree was cold. Very poor execution.
Four of us had a work-related dinner at Tusca recently, and while the food was good, the setting is nice overlooking the golf course, and the staff were friendly, the service was slow. There were only a couple other tables in use, so it wasn't clear why it took longer than we liked to have our order taken.
Nothing special except the server
The power was out at the building.
Loved the smoked salmon appetizer. Nice view of Del Monte Golf Course. Quiet and cozy in comparison to adjacent Knuckles Sports Bar. A nice weekend retreat with affordable entrees and nice wine selection.
Was a good dinner, but very limited menu. Our waitress Taylor was excellent.
Dinner was exceptional! The wood fired pizzas were incredible and service didn’t miss a beat!
