Turkuaz takes its name from the turquoise colored sea in Turkey and Mediterranean and brings both a culinary experience and an ethnic one to NYC. We started twenty years ago, in the Upper West Side and moved to Midtown West in 2019. Our food is healthy and flavorful, with a lot of Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean delicacies, our service is friendly and professional and our atmosphere is romantic and transporting. Our location is ideal for theater crowd and tourists. Whether you are on your own and are looking for a quick bite, or you want to spend time with your sweetheart or friends, you will have a great time at Turkuaz. If you are one of our previous patrons, please come and check us out at our new locations. If we have never met, try us out, we have been in this business long and strong and have built a good brand. We have 20 years of experience in the corporate and residential catering business. The richness of the menu makes it available to create a colorful and delicious presentation. Chafing dishes and stereos, silverware and plates are also available to be ordered for finer catering orders.

Our team is experienced and we have hosted many small and medium sized private parties. Our lower level can accommodate private events of up to 40 guests and the Cave Room downstairs can accommodate 14 guests. Ideal for business meetings, birthday parties, book club meetings.

Unfortunately this restaurant has deteriorated. I was here just over 6 weeks ago and the experience was excellent. I returned for a family celebration only to be so disappointed and embarrassed by suggesting the restaurant. The service was attentive, but terrible- server spilled wine with each pour. The food was below mediocre- salad was terrible, food quality poor. This restaurant went from a high-4 to a minus-1 Not sure how they could mess up so much Don’t waste your money

We enjoyed our dinner. The zucchini pancakes were quite good. Just wish there was something other than some yogurt to accompany the dish. The eggplant salad was tasty. The mixed grill was plenty for 2 people. Nice combination of lamb, beef and chicken. Service was a bit of a challenge...at times we felt forgotten...and it wasn't that busy. But I would try another time as the food was very good.

Delicious. Lighting not bright, it was perfect! Nice and quiet. I could have a conversation with my dinner partner. Service was very good.

It was the first time I ever had kunefe & it was delicious! We enjoyed out appetizer & entrees as well.

Excellent food at reasonable prices, including the wine list Service was impeccable in a great atmosphere. Highly rated and my wife and I would definitely go back again.
