The Turks Head is the oldest pub in the heart of Penzance town. Unspoiled by contemporary design and décor, this soul-soothing, local pub offers a fresh, seasonal menu coupled with local craft beverages, all of which can be enjoyed in our shanty style, west-country setting. Our secret garden is a hidden retreat that begs for any passing explorer or local Kernow folk to enjoy. Take in the crisp sea breeze blowing in from the Quay just a stone's throw away with a refreshing drink in hand.

Delicious food and wonderful service. We were rather squashed on our table but appreciated them squeezing us in. Lovely small beer garden.

Booked for lunch on Sunday both had Duo of Lamb. Absolutely delicious. For desert Rhubarb frangipani tart and Summer Berries Crumble. Again - both fresh and delicious. The team, who all seemed very young, were friendly and attentive despite having had a busy night previously. A credit to the pub. We live in South East Cornwall but would happily return.

Although it was a busy night all the servers were attentive and caring. The serving of olives was (extremely) generous and the steak just as expected. The selection of wines was good and decently priced. If you like ice cream, try the brandy ice cream - I nearly ordered seconds, maybe thirds. A friendly and happy pub, in the heart of old Penzance, welcoming to all.
