Very good food, great staff. The back garden is a bit of funky NYC. It has a glass ceiling so when it rained (poured, actually) we were nice and dry watching the rain drops hit.

We had a group of 12 on a Saturday evening. We sampled many appetizers, and had a variety of meals. Everyone reported that their food was excellent. The service was good, especially since the restaurant was quite full. It is a small space, so our large group added to the "energetic" environment! I have eaten there on another occasion, when it was a good deal quieter. Good food, good service. I would recommend!

Delicious food, wonderful service! We asked to be seated out on the (gorgeous) back patio, on a slightly chilly day when everybody else was indoors; they happily seated us there where we had the patio to ourselves, turned on a heater, and gave us excellently attentive service. The food was absolutely delicious -- we shared it all, and we all loved everything. Plus, they got us in and out in plenty of time to make a 7:00 show. Highly recommended!

Words cannot describe how great this place is but I'll try. The ambiance is welcoming. The female hostess was amazing from beginning to end. I had the okra stew. The avocado hummus with the warm pita was to live for over and over again. I enjoyed the music playing. Everything about Turkish Cusine was a 10+. Please eat alone like I did, take a friend, your spouse or even host a party but please try it, I guarentee you will not be disappoited at ALL.

We had 3:30 pm lunch reservations and were seated promptly. Beautiful room, lovely service. The wine was good, stuffed eggplant was excellent, the falafels were some of the best I'd ever had. We were even given a small complimentary dish of their eggplant appetizer special. The only thing that was troubling was the avocado hummus special that we ordered. It was tasty (very white, didn't seem to have much avocado in it), but a very small portion for $15. Really? It was strange, too, because the falafel platter came with hummus, and that serving was green in color and tasted more like avocado. We didn't bother to ask because everything was delicious, but the price for the little dish of the hummus special was ridiculous. I will go back, but won't order a special appetizer again.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Each dish fresh and prepared/cooked perfectly. Waitress was excellent. Space in old store front. Decorated very cute. A bit cold when door opened, so sit to side if you go on a chilly night.

The family owned restaurant is convenient to Broadway and a lovely small restaurant. Service is quite sweet and food is well prepared, tasty and a great value. We frequently go prior to a going to a show.

I am Turkish and “Turkish Cuisine” is the closest Turkish restaurant to my place where I can enjoy some Turkish food. The staff is always very kind and the service is very good. They also have a small garden at the back for outdoor dinning in summer which is cute. I usually order only mezzes so I do not want to be unfair grading the full menu but mezzes were average (avocado hummus, calamari, cheese plate, sigara borek, dried eggplant dolma) and they definitely need a different type of white cheese as mezze. Ideally a full-fat white or Tulum cheese. The one they have is not good quality, does not go well with raki. They offered a desert on the house this time but I was full so I could not eat it but we appreciated the gesture. Overall, nice neighborhood restaurant with good service.

I don't understand the great reviews this place gets. It was underwhelming to the extreme. Service was slow and inattentive (had to wait about 15 minutes after we sat just for our table to be wiped down from the prior guests as an example) The food was simply not good. I love Mediterranean food and have dined at some amazing places - this was not one of them. The hummus was underwhelming (as well as a paltry serving); the babaganoush was mediocre; and the falafel did not taste fresh. But the worst were the lamb dishes. The pieces were small and way over cooked - and there wasn't many of them in either of our meals. Will not be back

It was so wonderful to get back to one of my favorite theater area restaurants. The three of us were so happy with what we ordered. The service was superb. The turkish wine was excellent. It was altogether a fabulous experience. Try the spicy hummus! So tasty! I had one of their specialties...the eggplant dish,....so good!

We loved the food, ambiance, and friendliness. We were discouraged that our salad arrive with the main dish (not before). Our biggest surprise was the price of the pudding! $13.95 is way too much for a serving of pudding. Also, we ordered pistachio and got chocolate. Desserts should be listed on the menu, so that the price is known ahead. Everything else is good value, but he pudding is way over-priced!

This was our fourth or fifth visit to Turkish Cuisine. We left feeling that the quality of the food was inferior to that of our earlier visits, the wine was of poor quality and overpriced. Two lamb chops were very good but the third was decidedly rare. Lamb in yogurt was dry, chewy and lacking taste.
