Great food and signature beverages. A must have are the biscuits and fried green tomatoes.
Slow service, food nasty. Mess up my order, was charge twice.
Really ggreat food and drinks. loved the biscuits
Saturday brunch with the girls!
Very friendly and professional staff. Our server, Christina, was excellent!! The food was very good and good sized portions. Loved the decor and ambience of the restaurant, and the music was fantastic!
We had a great brunch outing today. Even with a decent crowd the service was prompt and personable. Brittany was a pleasure and made the experience that much better.
Food was cold and it took forever to get the food
Entrees are overpriced for what they are
The food was great - some sandwiches and salads, sides et al was popping with nice flavor. The Service was really good! Let me know how i cans support you.
I am a regular during the weekdays but this time came in on a Sunday night. Bartender Cassie made me The best lemon drop martini I have had in my life! It’s not on the menu but you can request it. My colleague had the barbecue burger with macaroni and cheese and I had the pork cast-iron skillet and it was fall apart juicy tender goodness ate every morsel! Continue to love this place and their staff. To those who ever have a bad experience PLEASEEEE just let your waiter or manager know I assure they will go above and beyond to correct it ;)
Excellent choice for brunch.
This has become my favorite go to breakfast/brunch location.
Don’t sleep on the Brussel Sprout appetizer!
I had one of the best hamburgers I've had in a while. Definitely will return!
It was a nice place, with ok food
Lovely, as always!
Our food was exceptional and the service was great! Will definitely visit again.
I had a reservation but still had to wait for a table to become available. The service was slow and I didn't get a refill on my beverage but the server did get me a beverage to go. The goat cheese grits were great. The portion was small. The eggs were greasy and the french toast was plain Jane.
We arrived late enough after the lunch rush (1:45). Our waitress told us upfront that she was waiting on 5 other tables so she “hadn’t forgotten about us.” The appetizers were good (fried green tomatoes and macaroni and cheese balls) but clearly they put sriracha sauce on everything. The main lunch meals were ridiculous in serving size. Especially for the money. The fried chicken was over cooked. Three of the five in our party ordered chicken. One ordered shrimp and grits (good) and one a hamburger (potatoes were good). It was my mom’s 85th birthday. Very disappointing and will not return. I will say it may just be the Atlanta location because I’ve heard wonderful re Jews in other states.
My husband and I really have enjoyed Tupelo Honey Cafe for a while now. We’ve noticed that everything keeps getting smaller in portion sizes each time that we go. They also stopped giving out their biscuits while you wait. They used to sell bowls of tomato bisque soup (which was my favorite soup) and now they only have cups, my last cup was cold. I didn’t even ask for it this visit. The Black Peppered Bloody Mary, that my husband loved, was now reduced to half the size. I don’t think we will be going as often. It wasn’t worth the cost. Especially, since it was one of our favorites. Still like them and I’m sad about that.
We are living in the area temporarily and have enjoyed eating at Tupelo Honey twice now, once for brunch and once for dinner. We have been blown away by the creative dishes. We can’t wait to go back again.
Tupelo Honey was great as always. The Martini was excellent!!!!
I was a little disappointed today. We were seated and it took some time before a server came to greet us. Not sure if the hostess let the server know that a new table was seated in their section. We ordered the fried okra and it was lukewarm and very visible the bottom crumbs of the bag. You can tell it was probably an error from a previous order or staff error and they needed to sell the okra vs throwing it out. Then when our entrees came my fried chicken for my biscuit was overcooked. None of our food today was seasoned properly either. The server did a good job taking care of us and helping to recover our experience. I will return because this is one of my fave go to brunch spots in the city. Today, was not the typical experience.
Great restaurant as they never disappoint. Social distancing is important and the staff is doing an excellent job making sure parties stay 6ft apart. The food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful.
Came in a Saturday night and it was a REAL pleasure. Manager on staff was amazing. Servers Griffin and Cianni were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Even with mask on you can tell they are all smiles.
I had a skinny margarita (not on menu) but griffin had bar make it special and it'll be my go to from now on. Also their original recipe for the Mac n cheese is back! It's so good cheesy and creamy again now like it used to be. Was so good I even ordered more to go. I had the cast iron pork, solid dish super tender and loads of flavor would order again. My colleague had the bbq burger and raved how awesome it was. And the fried okra perfection as usual.
I'm a regular here and happy they have stepped up their game lately and worked out a few kinks with kitchen. Wish I could come back on Saturdays more often! Thanks team.
A great weekend brunch. Good outdoor seating. Nice time.
Outdoor reservation- did not have an outdoor table without a 20-30 min wait.
It was very nice!
Great food! Great service!
Went on a Monday night. As usual they do a great job at following Covid guidelines. Griffin at The bar never disappoints, and our server Cody did an amazing job (considering he was the only waiter on staff). my colleague and I go to this venue very often it is one of our favorites.
My only issue lately is the portion/size inconsistency on the food. We get the same exact thing every time yet the portion sizes have varied lately. Nonetheless we love this place and will continue to be return customers!
Food hit the table a bit lukewarm. The Mac and cheese balls are great. I had the pork shoulder as my main but it could’ve used more seasoning. I was disappointed in the blueberry French toast. The bread was sliced thin and it was a bit soggy. I’d also recommend putting the blueberry compote on the side so the toast can stay hot.
We easy at TH in Asheville every time we visit. It's always excellent. We have eaten at this TP, not very often because it's subpar to their other restaurants. We have never had a good experience here, yet we keep coming back hoping it will be almost as good as Asheville. So far, it hasn't been.
Today, the service was awful. I mean AWFUL. Water glasses never refilled, we were never offered more coffee, never asked if we wanted another bolt body mary, never asked if our food was ok when it came out. We only saw the waiter when he took our order and brought the check. When my fork fell on the floor, we had to go to the bar to ask for a replacement. Part of our order wasn't correct but because we never saw the waiter, it was never corrected. We have had similar orders at this location in the past so I shouldn't be surprised be I am.
I'm not someone who's hard to please but when you're ignored by your waiter the entire meal, that's unacceptable.
The food was great. Service was fast. Staff was very pleasant to interact with. I will be returning
The food is always the best!
A few of us meet for lunch once a month. Most of us had never been to Tupelo Honey, but we decided to try something new after seeing that it had availability on OpenTable and the menu looked great. Think we were all impressed by the variety of offerings all under the southern umbrella (and brunch all day). Even with Covid, we ordered several "snacks" to share (1 touch to put on our own individual plates): fried green tomatoes, fried okra, fried cauliflower, crispy brussel sprouts, and my personal fav, loaded potato cracklins. As you can tell from this list, the main theme of our lunch was FRIED. If you're looking for healthy options, it appears there's something for you too: menu shows some avocado offerings, salmon, shrimp, salads, bowls, and even a veg burger.
The only disappointment was the fried chicken. Moist but even our "spicy" dark meat was bland. Not bad, just nothing special. All of us left there full and happy, and I expect we'll be back.
Amazing food, great service and we definitely will be back!
The fried chicken is really good. Service is always strong and it’s a diverse menu for brunch so everybody can find something. I also recommend their Brussel sprouts - soo good!
Not worth the price. $12 for two eggs, 3 skinny pieces of bacon and cheese grits? Watered down drinks.
This was a great place for brunch! However, the shrimp + grits left something to be desired... I think my shrimp may have been undercooked. Also, I like to drink my mimosa's out of a champagne flute instead of a mason jar, but happy to have the larger portion.
It was my 2nd time coming here for brunch. And all of my friends were very pleased with the food & our waitress Brittney was outstanding. Definitely will be coming back again. I did the Spicy & Sweet Chicken with roasted Brussels sprouts & Bourbon Mule cocktail
