Definitely a go-to spot! Britney (our server) was incredible!
It was incredible. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was friendly and helpful. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!
The food here was wonderful! Great variety to choose from! Just like all restaurants, they were short staffed on servers, but still were professional and very nice. The only issue was that they had a sign stating they require guests to have masks until seated but our server did not wear a mask.
Food was great when it arrived. People seated after us got their food a good while before us. Not sure why we did not order any unusual
It goes with the shortage of staff so, they did good. The menu was what got me in, but; wasn't that great.
Loved the 2 Biscuit purchase where $$ goes to the staff. I will go back
Positive experience….one of the burgers were not well done and server came after meal to offer another but in the end they just corrected the bill
The food was outstanding. The noise level was almost intolerable. It was very difficult talking to the two other people I was with and the music itself was very annoying. I mentioned this to a gentleman at the front door and he was a bit dismissive and patronizing when I asked that the music issue be addressed. Because of this I really don't know if I'll come back. What a shame!
Our server was amazing! The food was amazing! So glad I was able to check this place out while I was in town!
Really gorgeous food but not very tasty. Except for the Brussels sprouts- they were very good!
Great experience! Good food. Good service. I will definitely go back!!!
The food was terrible. The meatloaf and potatoes were so over-salted it literally hurt to eat it. I went alone and had that for my dinner. I had ordered the 1/2 fried chicken to take home to my husband at the same time that I ordered my meal. The fried chicken was nice and hot when they brought it to me in a to-go container along with my check. I was prepared to say that my meal sucked but hopefully my husband's meal will be enjoyable. Imagine our horror when he bit into the fried chicken and it was bloody. Bloody to the bone! One piece was cooked through but had absolutely zero seasoning. Gross. Literally the worst restaurant meals we've eaten in years. My server was lovely. I tipped her $20 because she said she was a college student. The meal was absolutely disgusting.
Nay was great, we enjoyed everything and will definitely come back. The siracha honey fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and fried pickles were my fav!
This was my first visit to Tupelo Honey. The food and service were impeccable. Will definitely be back.
I took my sisters for lunch to celebrate their birthdays yesterday. We happily got to sit outside, the weather was beautiful, food was great. However, what made our visit over the top was our server Mike. He was so friendly, gave us excellent service, was funny and overall just made it the best experience. He's a keeper!
The service was kind of slow & had to get our own straws & wait on things we asked for too long. Plus had to ask for seconds on tea!
Shout out to “Dustin” and the whole Tupelo Honey Team.. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. ALL of their food was great. They were very attentive , polite , and accommodating to My Mom and the family last night. They didn’t rush us or slack at anytime , even though they were closing.
I promise their food is bomb✨I forgot to take pictures of the plates. I got my Fat Girl On First. Food looks like the pictures📍
If you go to their BRUNCH, GO 👏🏿SEE👏🏿 DUSTIN at the Bar👏🏿
My Mom approved!!
The food was sub par and so was the service!
Great food and great service. I’ve been to Asheville and Atlanta and each location was top block.
Excellent food. Love the vegan and vegetarian options. When a restaurant has soy sausage, they win in my book.
The food and service were great. Pricing was fair and the portion size was good. We will be back.
Love those waffles with mac/cheese . Our server was very professional
Our server was great. Food was pretty good
This restaurant looked very nice. Service was slow, from being seated and waiting sometime for a server to greet us or take our beverage order. Server was not fully knowledgeable of the menu. The food order did not take long; however, I definitely understand why. The presentation was nice but deceiving. Food was bland and flavorless. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant solely over the food being so bland.
Mike was our server and made sure we were taken great care of. Always a good meet up rather with family or hanging out with the girls. Food is amazing and reasonably priced. Love sitting on the patio especially at night, such a vibe
This was my first visit to Tupelo and it will not be my last. It was a great dining experience our server Claire was phenomenal she had patience, she explain the menu she shared her favorites she was excellent I will be returning to Tupelo not only for the good food but also for the service that I received from Claire.
I had the mahi entree with grits and brussels sprouts. The mahi was extremely overcooked and dry. I would not recommend. The grits and sprouts were pretty good though!
I had dined at Tupelo Honey in Asheville in the past, and remembered delicious, creative food with great service and a warm atmosphere. I wanted to share that ambience with my family (husband and three sons in early 20s). We reserved a table for my birthday on a Sunday evening at 5:30, and were looking forward to our meal. Perhaps because of the shortage of food service workers and people still staying home vs. going out, we found the restaurant oddly vacant and quiet. It could have been nice that way, but instead it just felt sad. Our waiter was excellent and the staff we encountered was friendly, but the vibe was just not there. We waited a long while for our food, which seemed odd considering the lack of patrons in the restaurant. Portions were huge, so we had enough to fill to-go boxes for another meal at home later. My family just wasn’t as thrilled with the experience as I had been in the past, so I felt bad that I had bragged so much on Tupelo Honey and they were disappointed. Their take on it was that it was “an overpriced Cracker Barrel.” Gee. I’m sorry, Tupelo Honey. I will try you again when the world is a happier place.
Tupelo was very over crowded and under staffed. Wasn't like all the other times I have visited
We had a 4pm reservation and we’re seated immediately.
Our Server was okay nothing special. This was our 1st visit to this location. ZERO sense of urgency.
Food: Bisquits were cold. Macaroni was disgusting. Fries were cold. Fried Chicken was only good part of our meal. Very tasty and hot chicken as it should be!
In terms of value I think it’s a rip off that you charge for sides. Make that part of the meal.
We did drink at the Bar before our reservation and your Bartenders were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our drinks and conversation with them.
I was shocked. People rave about this place but my husband and I did not enjoy our time. The food was terrible, we got Brussels sprouts (the crisp is definitely there but they did not season or sauce them up AT ALL, super bland and gross). Husband got the meatloaf- the potatoes were seasoned weird and the meatloaf was SUPER salty. I got the Sriracha fried chicken and waffles. The spice was very prevalent and the fried chicken was alright, but the waffle was flavorless and to me it was a little too spicy to the point where you can’t really enjoy the meal cause it’s burning inside your mouth and your sweating (and I enjoy spicy food). Also our server was terrible and kept forgetting stuff and didn’t know any answers to questions we had and would say “I can ask someone inside and let you know” to everything. She never checked on us and how the meal was going. She forgot to put in our drink orders at the bar so we canceled. Very poor and slow service for a terrible food experience. The ambience is definitely there. Maybe they just had a bad day and their food seasoning and chefs were off? Idk, but I was super disappointed. Maybe they’re known for their brunch menu, but definitely won’t be going there again for dinner…ever. I hope you guys had a better experience but made our date night kinda sucky. I hate to make bad reviews, and I don’t ever do reviews, but I guess I had high expectations from people raving that the disappointment was that much greater.
Sriracha honey chicken is always good!
I really enjoyed visiting Tupelo Honey for the first time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Sunday Brunch ~~ food was presented well and taste good.
The food wasn’t good at all. The shrimp and grits where flavorless. The hot chicken and waffles was okay the chicken a little over cooked. The drinks where expensive and did not have much alcohol in them. I was very disappointed for my first visit.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I'll recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
The food was not good, the only thing I liked was the Mac and cheese. I got so sick when I got home and my family did too. The service was horrible! I would never return. The only plus was the prices.
We visited on a Saturday night and social distancing was in effect with all waitstaff wearing masks. The food was delicious and served promptly. The wine list was short but all varietals were offered. Be sure to ask for water when ordering. We'll be back!
Very accommodating. The best server ever BRITTANY
The food and ambiance were wonderful. But why couldn’t the staff wear MASKS!!!
Love it for brunch, would highly recommend.
