The food was very good and the waiter was outstanding! Appreciate having the ability to eat outdoors, which is needed for my wife and me.
Food was great. Service could have been a notch better.
The ambiance was perfect after our visit to the Dix Park Sunflower Garden with all the Honey Bees🌻🐝.
The hostess and waitress were kind, friendly and efficient! The Southern Pecan Salad was more of a Garden Salad w/pecan flavored dressing. I did not read the description carefully enough and, while the greens were fresh and the salad tasty it was not what I expected; my cursory reading at fault but a warning to others🌿
Good food, good variety and could handle a group of 7.
Friend get together !
Took myself on a date today. This was my second visit to Tupelo Honey, so I wanted to try some new things. My server, Cheryl, was awesome! The creole shrimp linguine was amazing. The poblano peppers really set it apart from other shrimp pastas. The “Pink is The Mimosa” is delicious! The basil in the green beans is definitely noticeable, and I love it. I’ll definitely be back! 😍
Had a wonderful experience and the food was amazing!
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic!
Fantastic breakfast, superb service!
We were sat and then never had anyone come to our table after 20 minutes. We left.
The meal was excellent. The only concern I have was the high price of my single drink. I believe that $23.00 for a 12 year old single malt scotch is exorbitant. I chose not to complain at the time the check was presented, but when I return to this restaurant, which I will do, I will no longer order any liquor.
Our meal was wonderful! I recommend the “pink is the new mimosa” and the sweet and sour chicken and biscuits! Yum!
Service was excellent. Loved the biscuits and fried great tomatoes. Had Fried Chicken Sandwich and the chicken as just ok.
We were seated shortly after arriving. Service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious!
Best brunch around. Food and service were great. Queen Mary was amazing!
Fri. 8 pm reservation was good
Noise level for that time was good
Meatloaf, green beans, and salad was good
Regular Chicken and Waffles was good
Sriracha Pork was super spicy... could not eat it. They did gives us fried chicken instead. That was good.
First rounds of drinks was good. 1st cup of coffee was very good.
After that first round, we had to keep asking for refills 3 times
The 2nd cup of coffee was Cold
The 3rd cup of coffee was luke warm and did not taste good.
After they served us our food, the waitress never returned to ask us if our food was good.
Will not return here and instead just order for carryout.
We have ordered takeout from here before so we had an idea of the quality (HIGH) of the food but were blown away by the kindness and attentiveness of our server, the draft selection was great, and the food was obviously AMAZING!
Great local spot for southern inspired dining. Super casual vibe, good service and home of my favorite Sriracha Honey Chicken and Waffles.
Lunch with friends and all the good was delicious. Service was excellent!
Book club meeting and the place was perfect for our first in person meeting. Staff was attentive and the food was absolutely delicious!
Good food. Yummy drinks.
We arrived just as they opened on a Tuesday and were promptly seated and brought waters and menus. Ordered drinks and food. After that our waiter never came back and we had to ask the food runner where our drinks were. After we ate, our drinks never got refilled and we had to track down the waiter to get the check after being finished over 20 minutes ago. I expect this is not regular service at Tupelo, just a singular bad experience.
Highly recommend the chicken and waffles and the meat loaf, they were out of this world. Our server was great as well, so attentive and helpful with menu recommendations!
They were out of white meat chicken that is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.
The bartender refused to serve me in the bar area.
I was called earlier in the day to say my 8pm reservation would not work as they closed at 8 so I rescheduled for 7:30 and arrived early. I was greeted at the door by a lovely host and seated in the bar area. After 10 minutes I asked a server to get my server then was greet by a server who made it clear was only bringing me a water and the bartender would be with me before she left I put in a turmeric ginger tonic order in hopes I’d be able to order food when it came. I waited another 15 minutes with no tonic and still had not put in food. Although the bar was fairly empty and the bartender did not look very busy I couldn’t get the bartenders attention so I left. I left a voicemail for management to call me back to rectify this situation.
I was very disappointed in my recent visit. The food is always so good but this time it was just ok and the service was terrible. We sat down and waited for 20 minutes before our server or any server even came to our table. We then waited forever for our drinks to come and when I wanted to order another drink she didn’t even ask what I wanted but just brought the same drink I had already order (which is not what I wanted). We also had to remind her multiple times to bring us dipping sauces and she never once refilled our waters. The restaurant wasn’t even very busy while we were there. They had a ton of servers so I know that our service could have been much better. By the end I didn’t even want to correct her on my drink I just wanted to get my check and get out. This trip was definitely not worth the money we paid for our food and drinks. The service really caused the overall experience to suffer extremely. I also noticed as did my boyfriend that our server seemed more interested in the table beside us that arrived after we did. She would frequent their table and provide them with quicker and better service than us and we were sitting right there. I love Tupelo honey but this experience has caused me to decide not to go back for a long time. Something needs to change.
great food, cocktails, ambiance, and service. I ordered the chicken biscuit with peach coleslaw but asked them to put the gravy on the side!
We were so disappointed! We came for our adult twin daughters’ birthday celebration (which I indicated in the reservation). The hostess mentioned it when we came in, then no other observance. Our server was excellent, I must say. However, our food came out in four different waves, with my husband’s meal coming out when the rest of us were well over halfway completed. He says he will not return, which is so disappointing since Tupelo Honey has been a favorite go-to for our family for special occasions.
Everything was excellent. Seated right on time with no waiting. The server was Katie, never made us feel rushed. Never had to wait around for anything either. Coffee was kept hot, food all arrived at the right times. Excellent drinks, appetizers, and main dishes.
Love the ambiance of this place. Eggs were a bit overdone but everything was delish!!! Staff extremely friendly
This was my first time at Tupelo Honey.
The hostess was warm and welcoming, and was very personable. The bartenders were great— quick service and always checking on me to make sure I was alright.
The food was great! The sweet & spicy chicken lived up to its name, and was juicy inside. The collards were AMAZING. I took a bite and texted a friend immediately to tell them they’ve got to come give this place a try. The “Peach Don’t Kill My Vibe” was delicious, but that Carolina Mai Tai is the TRUTH!!!! 😍
Overall, I was beyond pleased and I’ll be back!
Overall it was a good experience, and good food. But it was definitely very warm in the building. The fans or temperature could have been adjusted to accommodate so many people.
Inside was dirty, biscuits were crunchy instead of fluffy, food took a long time.
Food was pretty good but service was terrible. Our waiter kept disappearing even though the place was half empty, asked a bunch for water refills and never got one. Took 20 minutes after sitting down before we could order
Waiting staff did not seemed excited to be at work. We had to ask several times to run our check so we could leave.
Poor customer service waitress wasn't pleasant at all.
I went for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was tender but had no flavor (I didn’t want hot sauce). Dusting of honey flavor was basically nothing. I had one regular waffle and one sad looking waffle. For $15 they could do better. I would not go back. To be fair my friend enjoyed her brussel sprouts and bacon and avocado sandwich.
It was so great! They have awesome customer service. I love that you can make a reservation and the food is amazing!!
First time and the food was delicious! Patrick was such a upbeat and kind waitress! Definitely will be back !
