I ordered the featured fried chicken entree, steered to it by the server. The white meat served was so overcooked and dried out that it was inedible. It appeared to have been under a heat lamp for hours, or re-fried to heat it up after an earlier frying. I was given a $10 credit on my meal following my complaint.

We were disappointed in the quality of the food - uneven cooking in sides. Service disorganized - had to ask for serving spoons for sides, refills on drinks.

We have become 'regulars'. Tupelo is/has been out go-to place. We brought family with us this time and we had the special Fried Chicken for 4. The 3 sides were large, the chicken was perfectly cooked and all tasted great! OMG, we were pleased, comfy, warm and a happy family!

First time visiting Tupelo Honey and it was awesome. The menu made it difficult to decide as everything looks very interesting I had the Avocado Toast & Eggs and it was amazing! Bloody Marias went very well with it too. The restaurant is very nice and the staff was perfect. Very aware of customers needs and went out of their way to be helpful to everyone. Definitely a new favorite spot!

The food there is phenomenal. Thus was our first experience at this location. It doesn’t disappoint. I have been to the one in Asheville, NC as well. Either place will give you great tasting high quality food and great service.

This place was highly recommended. The service was great and the atmosphere pretty. I came during the weekday so it was not that busy.
I ordered the shrimp and grits, the one with Chorizo sausage and spinach. I could not eat it because it was dripping in oil, likely from the sausage. The flavor was decent. You could tell that it would’ve been a great dish if not for the oil. Instead, I just picked at it. Next time I will try the order without the sausage and spinach.

Service was fair, brought wrong mix drink, coffee cold, food came out so fast that it appeared to have been made ahead. Eggs got cold fast. Had to ask for Biscuits.

It was definitely unrelaxing brunch!

We had a party of seven with 12:15 reservations. At 12:45, we were sat at a booth with a chair added to the end in a busy walkway. Since we were seven adults, this was not a reasonable option. We waited another five minutes, and the manager was willing to push tables together for our party. We weren’t finished until 2:15 with lunch/brunch. The lack of timeliness in reservations, and inability to sit our party well, was frustrating

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait. Service was ok, could have been better - we were seated in the bar area & our waiters were also bar tenders. My order was messed up but fixed. Decent place overall.

First time there with out of town friends that HAD been there & recommended you. Everything was OK except the noise level, you were crowded with a birthday party adjacent to us, but even so it was my opinion that noise level is always a problem there....however the food and especially our server Allison made it tolerable...will be back again maybe other than 11:30am on Sunday.

This was a great spot for a business dinner. Nothing upscale but not a hole in the wall. The place is a step up from your ordinary american bar/pub.
It was a rainy Thursday evening and the place had folks but not too busy.
The service was great where the staff would just check-up enough times to not be bothersome but was very attentive and courteous.
The food was great! We had folks coming from northern part of the states and its a great place to try some southern food.
The brussel sprouts for appetizers were on point.
I had the fried chicken with honey dusting and a side of grits.
Very tasty and chicken was cooked perfect.
All and all a great experience and would visit again.

We walked in and were told by the hostess that they were on a 2.5 hour wait and couldn’t be seated. My wife and I were a bit confused as there were only about 10-12 people waiting in the waiting area. We walked back to our car to leave but I pulled up open table and saw they had reservations available every 15 minutes from our current time. We proceeded to book a reservation within 7 min of the current time, walked back up to the same hostess and she said she’d have us seated in 5 minutes. We saw her turn back a number of other customers with the same “wait expectation” but the restaurant continued to have more availability once we were seated. Other than the mixed messaging from the hostess, our experience with the food, service, etc was great!

We have lived in Raleigh for a year and a half and the only disappointing thing is that we haven’t come sooner! Menu was amazing, the quality of the food is excellent and delicious. It’s hands down the best restaurant I have been to in the Raleigh area. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We brought our kids and it was great, but would have been equally great for date night. We can’t wait to come back!

Delicious! I've eaten here before, but they've kicked the food up a notch. We also had an odd occurrence with a dessert glass that broke mid consumption, and they immediately replaced the dessert and handled the incident beautifully.

Handled our large group seamlessly. My only gripe would be having to wait 15 minutes for them to clean a table when we’d had reservations, but we passed time at the bar. All staff was so friendly and helpful.

The food was outstanding! I had been on a busy Sunday for brunch and it was excellent. Going on a quiet Wednesday night, I was unsure. However, all of our appetizers (brussels sprouts, pimento cheese dip), entrees (meatloaf, chicken ribs), sides (crackling potatoes, mac and cheese, roasted carrots) and desserts (chocolate peanut butter pie, banana pudding, pecan pie) were AMAZING! Had a wonderful evening!

We went for the Sunday Supper and invited friends to join us. It was our first time there and we will return. The food was definitely Southern cooking and delicious. The Sunday Supper meal is served family style and the portions are very generous. We were seated promptly and were well taken care of throughout our time there. Our requests were met positively and brought to us promptly.

I was excited go to Tupelo Honey inRaleigh for a girls day with my seven year old daughter! she was very excited for brunch with Mommy. I had a free pint glass and a bogo brunch coupon. I super excited to buy her something special too! We had a reservation at 12:45 and there was a wait which was fine because we could take a bathroom break first. The sight of the stalls was appalling. There were only two stalls one toilet had one had ripped off lid and was stuffed to the top with toilet paper. The other would not flush. We waited in line to use the restroom a longtime. It was sort of gross actually. We were seated at a table cozy by the window. Our waitress greeted us and said she was very busy so she would get our drink orders in a second. I let her know that I had the two coupons and showed them to her. She said great I will apply them at the end. I said ok. In about 10 minutes we had water and she said she’d be back to take our orders with some biscuits and honey. She came back we ordered the bogo entrees because the kids menu didn’t apply. Both of us very excited for the roast chicken and the harvest bowl with added salmon especially after the biscuits and and honey were so delicious. The food ordered and looked and tasted gorgeous. The problem was that the actual time eating and trying to have an experience and talk with my daughter was constantly interrupted by 2 waiters and finally the manager. Apparently, my waitress forgot that the bogo entrees were only on certain items and she never told us. She came back before she had the manger come over and asked me to act mad and the manager would take care of it. I did nothing wrong and didn’t even make a fuss at all. I felt like I was being used by the waitress almost to cover for her. I didn’t act mad and the manger apologized. After that it was weird while we werestill eating she asked me if I was ready for the check? We started laughing and my kid said we we barely started. We left abruptlywefeltweshould!
