   The food was good, but the drinks were incredible! The biscuits were amazing, too - they just needed to send them out with butter that isn't chilled hard as a rock.

   I thought everything was great. The staff was polite, the restaurant was clean and vibrant. And the chicken and collards are thought were really really good. I look forward to going back again to try more things off of the menu.

   The food did not live up to the hype. I had "smothered" chicken and it was basically fried chicken with gravy poured over it. That is NOT southern style smothered chicken. It's chicken and gravy and should be called such. Fried green tomatoes were caked in batter and the potato cracklins were basically smashed fried potatoes. No exciting flavors or textures for me. The food was decent but nothing I would return to again and again. Service was great and the ambiance was good. This is modern, hip southern-STYLE food, not the real deal.

   the service is slow and the waitstaff appear to not have training on what is expected when you go out to eat. The food and ambiance did not match the service so that makes a frustrating dinner

   Cierra and Jenna were incredible hosts for my in-laws on Saturday, 3/11/23. We were so lucky to get a table on the same weekend as the Pittsburgh Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. Our drinks, appetizers, and entrees were presented with all the quality, seasoning, and taste that we’ve come to expect from Tupelo Honey Pittsburgh. Thanks again and we look forward to our next meal together.

    I was disappointed, I wS hoping to eat some nice juicy, tasty fresh chicken. It was bland, wasn't hot and the shrimp and grits weren't all that. Try cooking original Tupelo chicken, greens and Mac and cheese. The banana pudding was good but tiny portions.

    My mom and I were heading back home from a weeklong trip (I attended a conference) and decided to stop at Tupelo Honey for breakfast before the drive. The atmosphere was great, service was excellent, and the food was hot and delicious! We both had chicken and waffles - I recommend! Enjoy and Bon Appetite!

    It was a Sunday and busy but we did wait a pretty long time for our order and we did not get the appetizer biscuits we ordered until after our lunch arrived and we asked for them. We also had to get our own silverware from another table after we asked and did not receive any. We still love it there and will be back as this has not been our experience in the past.

    This is our second time at Tupelo Honey… the first time we enjoyed everything very much. However, this time the food came out before our appetizers. Food wasn’t as good as the last time. We barely saw our waitress. Had to ask the food runner for a second round of drinks. It was busy and I know everyone is understaffed but the price we pay to go out to eat… this shouldn’t be an excuse.

    Keep the server and menu, lose the hosts. It took over half an hour to be seated after our reservation time. Other parties of similar size that arrived 15-30 minutes after our reservation time (we had arrived early) were seated before us. They informed us that we had reserved a specific table (reserved via open table) when we reserved with open table and that table was lingering over coffee. Fortunately for the absurd hosts/ seating situation, our server was fabulous and the food was good or this review would have gone pretty south.

    We decided to celebrate my daughter’s 20th and my husband’s 50th Birthday So happy we chose Tupelo Honey. The food was excellent Between the fried green tomatoes fried chicken collard greens and Mac and cheese, I have to say they were all equally delicious Party of 10 and everyone enjoyed their food Also the Old Fashion was on point!!! We will definitely be returning

    My wife and I went for a valentines brunch and our waitress Danica was the absolute best! She was diligent on refilling drinks and checking on us. She made great recommendations for food and was very personable. Would highly recommend tupelo for a Sunday brunch!

    Took my friend here to celebrate his birthday, and it was overall amazing! Staff was wonderful, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming! I’ve been here twice and I highly recommend the biscuits and the fried green tomatoes.

    Food & service was exceptionally well! The fried green tomatoes & heirloom goat cheese grits were amazing! The peach don’t kill my vibe drink was delicious also. Will definitely be returning, a 10/10

    Had a great server named Jazz. The biscuits and blueberry jam was fabulous! Hollandaise sauce on eggs bene was way too lemon! Not at all worth the money. I understand they make it on site but quality control should be better. Fried chicken in the BLT was very dry. Noise was terrible! My Apple Watch kept warning me lol!

    Went for Sunday brunch, had a reservation. We were sat as soon as we came in the door, despite it seeming like a full house. It was very busy, but our server Jazz was very kind, very helpful, and very efficient. Great experience.

    Our server Jazime was energetic, fun, responsive, and super friendly. The food was ok I was expecting a much better fried chicken sandwich given this is what this place is known for. The chicken was small, the lettuce was few pieces of iceburgh and the tomato was not ripe at all. I will probably give this place another chance but lower my expectations and I don't think it will be a favorite.

    I was hoping for so much more. The chicken didn’t live up to the legend, not moist, dry, small in size, and not much crunch. I can’t say anything I had was beyond average. The pecan pie in a small size comes in a 2 inch tartlet pan, so maybe 2 bites. Service was good but there’s not a good chance that I will chose this place again.

    Visited for restaurant week. The portions were generous and everything was tasty. The regular menu is quite large. The banana pudding tasted more like banana cheesecake and was almost too rich to finish. The lights were a bit loud and the service was just a little slow, but I chalk that up to the fact that there was a kids sports team taking up 1/4 of the restaurant the night we visited.

    Tavan was amazing! Gave us a full experience with his own recommendations and even when something that was no longer part of the menu was asked for he had a follow up to replace it. One of the best experiences I have had and my guests thought the same!
