Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Please arrive on time with all members in your party present. We will cancel reservations 15 minutes after the scheduled time. The combining of separate reservations will not be honored. 6 of us went here for dinner Saturday night. Our waiter was awesome the bartender with the Christmas lights shirt was awesome. The food not so awesome chicken was bland the Mac and cheese was burnt, and they had no fried pickles. May or may not return. Cute atmosphere and patio looks awesome!

First visit was this evening with my daughter in law. I made a reservation & being seated was fast and easy. Our server was perfect!! I left her a bigger tip than suggested b/c she was THAT GOOD!! I’ll visit again for sure!

Tupelo Honey is our new favorite restaurant. Our waitress was great, very friendly and went above and beyond to cater to my son’s nut allergy and asked about a sandwich I really wanted for dinner but realized was only on the brunch menu. They made the sandwich for me and everything was delicious. The supervisor came around and made sure everything was great. They take reservations on OpenTable, which is a huge plus!

Loved eating here for the first time. Staff was very friendly, I liked the decor, and the food was great! Must get the biscuit app they warm the honey and it comes with a jam and butter. I believe it's for a good cause as well. Biscuit comes to you piping hot too! Got the siracha chicken and waffle hubs got bacon sausage egg and waffles. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and delicious. They have what I would say is a perfectly sized menu it isn't with endless choices but just enough for you to have to think on what you want. Every description made you want to taste each item. I plan to come back and taste the other menu items!

We loved our experience at Tupelo Honey - Omaha. I had eaten at other locations years ago and loved it, and being originally from the South, was excited for this new location to open. It did not disappoint! The goat cheese grits were particularly delicious. The portion sizes were a bit smaller than I had hoped, but would still certainly go again.

We loved the choice of comfort foods on a cold evening! We had the pimento cheese dip and chips and fried pickles for appetizers and for the main course some who chose chicken, some the Barbacoa, some meatloaf and some the smashburger! Everyone thought their meal and the sides were delicious and cooked perfectly! The kids in our party had grilled cheese, the blueberry waffle and Mac-n-cheese and they all ate very well and thought the food was great! The holiday cocktails and beer selection were enjoyed as well! The only negative is we were seated near the door and every time someone came in the restaurant we got a blast of cold air right at us! We will definitely be back again and look forward to enjoying their patio next spring when the weather warms up!

Service was very good. Prompt and very friendly. Had cauliflower and biscuit as appetizer. Cauliflower was awesome as was biscuit but a little salty. My husband had the shrimp and grits which was one of the best we had but unfortunately was fairly cold when arrived and needed to send back. I had the pork shoulder which was good. Probably will be back to try chicken

Bring new within a month, I think they are still working out a few bugs. Personally, the chicken was fried in too hot of oil and I never received syrup for my waffle. Good sized portions.

What a welcome addition to the exciting Omaha food scene. Tupelo Honey--you had me at fried chicken. I can just kiss my goals of thin hips goodby after eating your fried chicken. Great new restaurant to Omaha! Food was great, drinks were great, atmosphere was great, the only complaint we had was a drink came out close to 15 mins after ordering as they couldn’t get it made correctly. No offer to discount or comp drink. Other than that, we will be back again.

Tupelo Honey was a nice downtown dining experience! There was a little rush around 6pm, so the kitchen got busy and our appetizer order came out with the food. Not a big deal, I said it was okay but we do like to have time with the appetizer before our dinner. The waitress was nice and apologized and at the end they had comped it! I was also interested to know what the name meant, I was thinking maybe a town in the south. She took the time to explain that it's a tree mostly found in the southeast and FL that produces a rare honey that they use in many of the recipes. Very good made from scratch food! The pimento dip appetizer was good, although we tend to compare it to one we like best at Beyond Golf, and we still like Beyond Golf's better. The shrimp and grits were everything I hoped they would be. Flavor bomb with a little spice from the chorizo. I had never had grits before and I'm glad these were the first I had. My husband was stealing some from my plate. He had the fried chicken mac and cheese waffles. It was tasty but not to the level we were expecting from the previous reviews. Not a ton of flavor and the waffles got a little sog to them. He decided he's just not a chicken and waffles type of person, but it was fun to try. Overall, the ambiance was beautiful and a nice new spot to try downtown.

I have been to one in NC and loved it. Was happy to see this restaurant in Omaha. The biscuits are huge and delicious. I love the blueberry jam and honey. I had a salad with grilled salmon. It was very good. I would go back.

We loved our dining experience at Tupelo Honey. We enjoyed the ambiance and the wait staff. It's a beautiful new restaurant in Omaha. The food was exceptional. We started with the fresh and crumbly, just like I like them, biscuits with butter and the amazing blueberry jam. My husband loved adding honey to his biscuit. Superb!! We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and they were great. We love Shrimp and Grits when traveling in So Carolina particularly and the waitress told us the grits were raised and ground in So. Carolina. Great to hear!! HMM, HMM GOOD. We also ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken with a side of fried Brussel Sprouts. My goodness those sprouts were amazing. Best I've ever had. The chicken was juicy and the honey flavor was delicious. A perfect meal for us to share equally. We will definitely be back and will bring friends next time.

The space is brand new and they seemed well over staffed, so it was a bit different to have so many people helping our table and checking in. Not a bad problem to have, though! The cocktails were very good and they had a wide variety of food items to pick from. Our apps and entrees were really tasty and unique. Would definitely come back to try more things.

Beautiful new restaurant next to the Heartland of America Park. Beautiful views of the lake and park from the large windows on the south side of the building. Interior was excellently decorated, and I can't wait for that large patio to open. Will be perfect for warm evenings in the Old Market. The food was very good, we were there for brunch and had the avo benedict, barbacoa po'boy and enjoyed sipping on the lavender lemonade (not to be missed!) and sweet tea. Everything was perfectly prepared, cannot wait to visit again.
