Yes, we put mac-n-cheese in a waffle, topped it with spicy fried chicken, house-made garlic buttermilk ranch, pickles and chives...you're welcome!
Waiter was rude and not friendly. Food was not fresh .
Hostess was rude but other than that the food and service were excellent.
Was the first time visiting and I will 100% be back the food was amazing!!!
The tables were sticky and the server was rude when I mentioned it. Overall, she was absent and dismissive, which was surprising since restaurant was virtually empty. The food options were limited since they had no dark meat. For a place that specializes in fried chicken, I found this odd. It definitely ruined my plans for my meal. Our food looked good but was cold when it came out. Brussels sprouts were beyond crispy, they were mostly burnt and the burned taste overwhelmed them. It says something when I can’t finish Brussels sprouts. Although I put in that it was my husband’s birthday (40th), there was no acknowledgement. I wasn’t happy with any aspect of the experience and would not return.
Everything was absolutely delicious. I gave an overall 4 stars only because we were not I formed that one of our drinks were not free refills and the server kept refilling as if it was.
Very cute little restaurant!! Food was delicious, I had the chicken avocado sandwich, with a side of Mac and cheese. We also got the biscuits for an appetizer, excellent blueberry component.
Had a lovely lunch with guests; sat outside on the patio. Great food and service.
Tupelo Honey is always a great experience. Great food and an excellent staff, outdoor dining.
Thanks for the review of your visit, Bubba! We are so happy to have loyal customers like you! See ya next time!
Outstanding fried chicken
We made reservations for lunch on a Friday on the patio as brought our dog. We read the yelp reviews and were excited about the Myrtle Beach location as love other locations in Raleigh and Asheville. The hostess stuck us at a two-top on the patio and my chair was literally over a drain and the table was situated right by the wait station and the door - not a great location so we moved over one table without asking.
It took a long time for someone to say hello and take our drink orders. Finally the waiter came and introduced himself as TJ and took our drink order and brought our pup a bowl of water. TJ did a fine job, was very nice and our food came out quickly. I guess we ordered the wrong items as they were both mediocre at best.
I ordered the friend green tomatoes which were like hockey pucks on grits. My husband ordered the chef salad - was probably the ugliest chef salad we've seen and was not great. We won't be back next time we are at the beach.
First time there! Waitress recommended one of the breakfast bowls (Ol School)….perfect meal! I’ll be back!
Absolutely delicious!! Wanna go back and try every menu item
Bourbon selection was great as well . Drink menu inviting !!
Our waitress was lively and a hard worker. When we arrived our table was directly in the sunlight because we were seated outside. One of the supervisors recognized we were uncomfortable with the sun in our eyes and the heating beating down on us and quickly moved our part of 8 to a better location. That was very much appreciated. The food was very good as always and the promptness of the meal was good. The drinks were superb. We will come again.
Food was great! Our server fantastic! We really enjoyed our meal!
Our dining experience is truly awesome every single time! It is why we dine here several times per month and sometimes per week depending upon our schedule. The employees are so very polite, helpful and friendly! The staff gives stellar customer service! My daughter and I absolutely LOVE the entire dining experience at Tupelo Honey- Myrtle Beach!
Chicken and waffles were amazing! Super friendly staff! Definitely recommend!
The staff and food is fantastic.Drinks are interesting and delicious, treat yourself and go you will not be disappointed.
Excellent atmosphere and service! Would definitely come back.
Food is very good.Ordered fried chicken and macaroni. Husband had smothered chicken and daughter had chicken and waffles. Desert mini as well- pecan pie is awesome
My husband and I really enjoyed Tupelo Honey. Our first time and definitely will not be our last time. Visited the Myrtle Beach location and had a blast! Good food, friendly staff, great ambiance. Definitely looking forward to going again in the near future!
Food was pretty good. Mahi was a little dry. Mega mimosa was a regular sized mimosa which was disappointing.
Had a great time! This was my second experience at this location in Myrtle Beach, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. After making reservations beforehand, we were seated very quickly. I usually eat breakfast here, but decided to order dinner this time. The Mahi Mahi was great, and I was very surprised at how delicious the Macaroni and Cheese was. My dessert was banana pudding, and that was so tasty too. Just wish it had more cookies lol I’ll definitely be back!
Food was delicious. We had the chicken and waffles, all 3 recipes.
Lots of people inside. No distancing. Staff not wearing masks.
Thanks for the review. In Myrtle Beach, SC we do not currently have any restrictions for capacity, PPE, or distancing, so we are under normal operations. We welcome guests to request a table with additional space, or to wear a mask if they prefer.
We had a nice dinner with excellent food. lt was a busy night which made it tougher on our server.
Thanks, Glenda! We are happy to hear you had a wonderful evening dining with us! We hope to see you again!
For as much as we heard rave reviews of this place we were not impressed. It was noisy, the staff seemed scattered and the food was overpriced. We went for the fried chicken and it was ok. Not much taste and it came with nothing. The sides are $3.00 extra. For my family of 4 it was around $75, to me way too much for fried chicken in a noisy atmosphere. Will not be back sadly
This was my 3rd time visiting and the food has been on point each time. The servers are super friendly and are well versed on all the menu items.
Fantastic Southern cuisine. Great service and eclectic dining environment. We had the fried green tomatoes and the biscuits as appetizers, and they were both superb. Various entrees and drinks, and everyone was very pleased.
Food was so good! Service was amazing and our server was so nice! Would definitely go back!
We ate outside and had great service. The food was very good. Love their biscuits and that the profits go back to help employees.
Very good fried chicken and baked Mac and cheese. The lavender lemonade was good
First time at this restaurant known for their chicken. There were 6 in our party and everyone thought the chicken was very over cooked. Possibly from really early that day or prior day.
Our drinks from the bar were excellent. We will try once again soon.
This was my first visit to Tupelo Honey. I was pleasantly surprised, the service was fantastic, the food was prompt and delicious. I will be a repeat customer. Our servers name was See,.
We eat here all the time when at the beach. I never been disappointed with the food or the services.
Always great food, can’t go wrong with well cooked southern food. Ever. Was late in the evening and server could have been a bit more attentive (she wanted to go home and admitted it) but she was otherwise good… she also didn’t mention about a 4$ up charge on a meal, still would have done it, but just a bit of a surprise. None of those little nit picks would stop me from going back.. love this place ..
Service was fair to good. Food was ok. Had the honey dust fried chicken. Bojangles and Roy Rogers are better. So, bottom line... meh!
Great as always
Menu has changed apparently, fried green tomatoes are no longer part of the “All I Avo Wanted” brunch item, and portion of potatoes was much larger while egg/avo /tomatoes portion was significantly smaller. Avocado toast and eggs was a smaller portion with eggs undercooked even for an “over easy” request, greens and beets part was too heavy on the pickled onions. Our booth table was partially ripped off the wall with nails visible. Waiter was slow but I think he was taking care of too many tables due to possible understaffing issues. All in all I would say only that it was an ok brunch, whereas in the past we have raved about how good it was. For over $50 for brunch for two, I’m not sure we’ll return. There are too many other options that are maintaining their level of taste and value.
The food was only so-so. I was disappointed because I had heard so many good things about it. I gad fried chicken and it was bland and not crisp. My son is a burger connoisseur and he only ate half of his burger. My daughter loved the avocado toast though. My husband thought the chicken was ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way again to eat here.
Amazing fried pickles! Pretty good food too, just keep in mind it’s pretty warm in the restaurant. There are fans above the tables but the don’t do anything for air circulation.
