It was our first time at Tupelo and we really enjoyed ourselves. The menus offered some great choices, and our dinners were very good.
The food was good. The meatloaf was wonderful. Service was great. The atmosphere/ambiance was a little dull, but we would definitely go back.
First time and had a lovely experience. The food was good...the service was wonderful. What a nice young man, happy and helpful...we will be back!
Chicken wasn’t really that good. Loved the collard greens.
It was wonderful..we will definitely be back
We sat outside with our dogs on a chilly night but were very comfortable under the radient heaters or near the fire pits. Food was delicious and service was stellar. There's even a dog menu that we ordered from for the pups. Tupelo Honey never disappoints!
I love this place! I’ve been here a few times and the food is always incredible. The service and the wait staff are always wonderful and polite.
Highly recommend the biscuits as a starter and then getting the fried chicken, meatloaf or really anything on the menu! Service was good and we got our meal quickly.
Tupelo Honey is a must!
Outdoor fire table was great!
Always a great experience
For a place that raves about the fried chicken it was dry and serving were small ,no meat on chicken. Over cooked
Don’t waste your money.
I would not return. Definitely not good, in my opinion.
Wonderful dining experience! Our waiter, Matt, was exceptional in his knowledge of both beer and food. We come every time we are in town. Wouldn’t miss it!!!
Limited menu. Primarily honey dusted/coated chicken dishes. Expensive for what you get. Some dishes do not include sides and it is $4.50 per side.
Had a celebration dinner tonight at an old favorite restaurant:)
Enjoyed happy hour drinks and famous fried green tomatoes!
So good - we also had the mountain and rainbow harvest bowls - healthy , flavorful options !! Had a friendly waitress—
Nice evening -
& dining experience
I do love this restaurant. The atmosphere is great, not too noisy but politely busy. I have eaten here 3 times. The first 2 times the food was outstanding. This last time it was okay. Same dish I had my first visit but lacked a little seasoning this time. Overall, would go back again. The reason for the mediocre "value" rating is that the bill adds up quick.
The chicken and waffles were excellent and Jeanne was an amazing server.
Drinks were weak & service was slow. I will not go back.
I had friends in from out of town and wanted them to experience Tupelo Honey since it’s a restaurant I highly recommend. Service and Food were excellent, did not disappoint. All my friends were equally impressed with the food. Will continue to go there and bring friends.
Picked up my sister at airport and stopped for drinks/ lunch. Everything was great!
What a great restaurant. Everything was perfect. I can’t wait to go back again real soon.
The collard greens were from a can. They still had the stems in them. No one knew what pepper sauce was. A true Southerner (me) knows the difference.
Sirachi chicken was awesome, Brussels sprouts very good, fair Mac and cheese, green beans and sweet potato soufflé. Jeanie was very attentive as our waitress. Wanted to eat outside with heater but was told by hostess the heaters were only for large parties. So we sat inside as it was chilly. Would recommend to others.
Highlight of our trip!! Delicious drinks and food. Will 100%be back!!
Great dinner. Will return. Lee is a very good server.
Great food and service
Food was great and our server was so helpful.
We have been to Tupelo Honey in Asheville, this is our first trip to Myrtle Beach Tupelo Honey. The food was just as good at Myrtle Beach as it was in Asheville. Recommend this to anyone who is looking for some excellent southern cooking with a flair. Also House Specialty drinks are very good.
Food was only warm, not hot. Flavors were good.
However our server was outstanding
Always enjoy coming to Tupelo!! Great food, service and menu..
Although the restaurant was less than 1/4 full service out of the kitchen took a long time. The server did keep the coffee filled while we waited
Excellent service and food. Definitely will be back.
Food was very good esp the waffles. Sandwich was very good
Great food enjoyed by our threesome: Rainbow Avacado Bowl, Cast Iron Pork and Blackened Mahi-Mahi. These dinners were cooked to perfection and delicious. The “nanner pudd’n” dessert was out of this world! Gave 3 stars for service, I know the restaurant business is hard up for servers, cooks, and preppers but we did order a fried green tomato appetizer which never came. Our server had many tables she was working so no blame for her. Overall though, great restaurant!
We enjoyed a great dinner on the outdoor patio during our recent visit to Myrtle Beach. Our appetizer — fried dill pickles — was terrific — crisp and savory. Our entrees were equally good — a Southern Pecan Salad and fried chicken with waffles. We had mini servings of the two desserts — pecan pie and banana pudding — to end the meal on a sweet note. The banana pudding was very good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The server was warm and attentive. All in all, a 5-star experience!
Food and service were fantastic!
The breakfast was excellent, as was the atmosphere and the service. The breakfast and mimosa may have been a tad expensive but you get plenty of food, more than we could eat. The cathead biscuits are huge and were also excellent.
Put in our reservation notes that it was our second year anniversary, no “Happy Anniversary” greeting or reference from the waitress. Great casual dining with great food and ambiance. It is “off season” but still a little “manners and southern hospitality” goes a long way. Just a simple greeting or acknowledgement of a special occasion. We knew it wasn’t “the Ritze” but still, the Millenial attitude needs to be left at home. Over all enjoyable.
Great food - and even better service
