I tried Tupelo Honey for my birthday dinner. Pimento Cheese dip with Chorizo was decent but could've been cooked longer. The thick dip arrived lukewarm. Tortilla chips tasted too sweet. Boyfriend enjoyed Honey Sriracha Chicken & Waffles, but Sriracha was too spicy. Waffles were perfect. I had Salmon with gueno and carrots, but the salmon lacked flavor. Ambiance was nice, but the food's price didn't match the value. I wouldn't mind visiting this restaurant again but it wouldn't be in my top 10 Milwaukee dinner spots.

Shrimp and grits were AH-mazing- I gave a taste to a “I don’t like grits” person and he was delighted. Chicken was flavorful and tender. Biscuits were so yummy with the blueberry jam. Seriously if you’re not sure- get the Shrimp and grits- yum!

Josh was very informative and helpful with our experience. He offered many suggestions, and helped with our food allergy accommodations. This was extremely amazing service from a restaurant. The food was amazing, and the service just added to the experience. We will be returning to Tupelo.

You have to experience this place. I know you would prefer a review and all the details BUT understand that my words won’t do this place justice. It’s just that good, the service is just that amazing and the ambiance is just that awesome. Thank yourself afterwards because you’ll deserve it!

Food was great, especially the biscuits. Omg!!! The server was kind, but not so quick to meet or anticipate needs. The restaurant was busy, but we waited quite a while on refills, condiments and plates getting cleared.

Food is consistently good across the menu. While the chicken in various forms is clearly their specialty, the shrimp&grits is wonderful and highly recommended. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, seemingly more a result of kitchen issues than server issues. Overall a comfortable and appetizing experience.

The hostess and person who took us to our table never said good morning or even smiled. The restaurant had just opened and was nearly empty, yet it seemed like staff members were already frustrated. We were seated but it was another 10-15 minutes before our server approached to ask if we would like coffee. He was attentive throughout breakfast, but not really friendly. However, that could be due to the fact that, as the restaurant filled, it was SO loud and noisy he had to lean in to hear us. The food was delicious, and we received quickly. Kind of felt like an "assembly line" type breakfast rather than a relaxing Sunday morning brunch.

Friendly clean atmosphere. Friendly service. Ample food for the dollar. Food was good but not the best I’ve had at a breakfast place. The potatoes were big chunks of deep fried baked potatoes as what their crispy rosemary parmesan potatoes not expecting that. Biscuits were crumbly and flavor good but texture not quite what my southern boy likes. Average on a whole for breakfast. Not sure what all the hype was about.

It was a great atmosphere, we got seated right away with our reservation. The food took a while to come out but it was brunch on a Saturday for a party of 5 so it made sense!

When we first walked in the atmosphere and ambience was wonderful. We received it right away promptly. Our waitress was great. She exceeded all our expectations with everything. the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes along with the fish fry that I had. My boyfriend had the chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado, which he really enjoyed. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will be back soon!

I would highly recommend Tupelo Honey. The food is really good and the biscuits are unbelievable! The cocktails are delish! The server was friendly though a bit slow on service.

Had a wonderful dining experience. My husband and I have been here a few times and we love it. All of our food was fresh and great quality. The chicken and waffles are amazing. The portion sizes are perfect. Service was great. Everything was great. I just wish I didn’t forget my to-go box of Mac n cheese on the table!…had it not been raining I would have walked back for it.

The salmon and original fried chicken were good but not great. Very salty. I grew up in the South and I would say the biscuits were mediocre by my standards. Green beans were very mushy and spicy which I was not expecting. Service was very good. Overall, a bit disappointing compared to our experience in Asheville a decade ago.
