Excellent restaurant!! We ate here for dinner Friday night and then we ate there again for brunch this Saturday morning. It was delicious food, courteous and efficient servers, a wonderful ambiance, and in general - a great experience. Strongly recommend it to anyone interested in a great meal in downtown Knoxville very close to the TN Theater.

Tupelo Honey is a place I like to go in Market Square, that is until last night. I had a 5 PM reservation and upon our arrival we were taken to our table in the middle of the dining area. That’s when I asked if we could seat by the window and the young hostess told me “no, those tables are reserved”. Well, I had a reservation and the only choice I had was: High Top or Standard Table, and/or Patio. There was nothing about table location. Then our server, she was never there to find. I had to ask another server to go get her. Every time we needed her she was not easy to find and had to wave her down. I ordered the meatloaf and to tell you the truth, Cracker Barrel’s meatloaf on Tuesdays is lots better and better tasting! The only good thing was the fried green tomatoes. All in all, a bad experience and will not visit or recommend Tupelo Honey anymore.

I was waiting to check into my hotel and needed to find a dog friendly place to kill some time. I ate at their outdoor patio and they absolutely spoiled my dog- he got his own water bowl and they brought out some bacon. I ordered him the biscuit and gravy from the dog menu. The seating was WAY too crammed to be comfortable (my back was actually touching the person behind me the whole time). I didn’t love the gravy but everything else was good. The waiters were awesome- so nice and super attentive even though the restaurant was busy!

I always like Tupelo Honey but am more partial to its sister (mother) location in Asheville. We stopped in before the theater for a drink and a quick dinner. While the entrees were ok, the highlight of the meal were the biscuits and blueberry compote with honey butter. A classic for TH. I recommend the overall experience based on its location on Market Square and with its proximity to the Tennessee Theater.

I had a reservation for 8pm and waited another 15 minutes for the staff to clear the table. I had the spicy/sweet chicken sandwich. It was just okay. I've had better sandwiches at fast food restaurants. Overall disappointing.

It was great!! We were a last minute large party of 10 on a busy Saturday. We booked separate reservations on Open Table for parties of 6 and 4. When we arrived we asked if we could possibly sit together or at least near to each other. The hosts at the front were so friendly and helpful…they worked their magic and somehow were able to accommodate us perfectly!! It was so nice that they went the extra mile to help us out! It made our dining experience a happy family outing!! Our server was wonderful as well as our meals!! Can’t say enough good things about Tupelo Honey on Market Square!!

The restaurant should clearly mark dietary information/symbols such as vegan options on it’s menu. The Harvest bowl was made vegan for me and was very good but would have been excellent if there was a plant based dressing. The Brussel Sprouts were delicious. The food portions are large.

Nice patio to enjoy Knoxville Market Sq. After a day of driving from VA, we enjoyed the shrimp with grits,& drinks . Salad however left slit yo be desired for the price - it was almost all lettuce / minimal additions as stated on the menu but lemon dressing was delish.

Classic Southern dishes, with a little twist and flair here and there. The dishes are overpriced, but all the restaurants on Market Square charge more than they're worth. Great server this evening. I was hoping for a little something extra for my daughter's 18th birthday, but that's all right.

Great brunch menu. Food was delicious. The biscuits were big and moist. Loved the berry jam that comes with it. The fried potatoes that were in my bowl with cheese grits and eggs were amazingly tasty.

Our order wasn’t correct so the correction came late in the meal which just ruins the experience. Price for the meal was high, about 30% more than other similar meals and menu. Probably our last time there as there are a lot of choices on market square.
