Basically we couldn’t get an outdoor seating even though we made reservations for it, and they didn’t pay attention to us at all. Food is so mediocre too
I had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes and my husband had the fried fish, mashed potatoes, and collard greens. Both meals were tasty. Tupelo Honey has pretty consistent quality and always a little bit above average on the cost. We ate outside on a beautiful day. We got there at 1 o’clock on a Monday and were happy that we had made a reservation. When we arrived there were people that were being put on a one hour wait for a table.
First time and will definitely be back
The vibe at Tupelo Honey Knoxville was that of an Applebees during a college football game. Super loud, dirty floors, waitress who gives you no attention, and food sitting in the kitchen with no runners.
Game Day in Knoxville.
It took a while to get drinks but everything. Else was good!
We come to town every few months to see family and always come here for breakfast it has yet to disappoint.
Looking forward to our visit, but sorely disappointed with a rushed and inadequate server and meals that were dry and lacking flavor. We ordered slow roasted pork shoulder and Slow roasted pork and grilled cheese sandwich, both of which should have been juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, neither was. Sandwich was supposed to have a specialty BBQ sauce that was totally absent?
Restaurant was not even half full on a Saturday night but service was still lacking. So disappointed.
We had a delicious brunch here, we appreciated the option to dine outdoors
We loved it again. We went Friday and Saturday nights!
Fantastic food. Ambiance was great!
Tried Tupelo Honey in Knoxville TN for the first time on October 7th, 2020. Previously dined multiple times at the Chattanooga TN location. The Knoxville location was located right in the downtown dining district, right on the corner location. The service received from Jasean, the server was outstanding at the 4pm hour. We began with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts ($4 Happy Hour Menu) portion which was considerably smaller in size than the same $4 Happy Hour portion in Chattanooga TN, although it was cooked perfectly. Our entrees included the Shrimp 'N Grits which had 6 good sized shrimp on the plate. The Bourbon Crusted Meatloaf was as good as usual with the Green Beans and Parmasean Potato Cracklin's as the sides. Great care was made in the preparation of both entree's.
Alway excellent food no matter what I've ordered, and they are consistent throughout their Chain. My favorite is their shu mercy sweet potato pancakes and bee dusted chicken breast.
Tupelo Honey was packed from the football game but had no trouble in getting us a confirmed reservation 15 minutes before we were scheduled to arrive. We were seated in no time and our server was quick and thorough. The food came out within 15 minutes. We even got a free pint glass for getting the app. We will be back for sure!!
Great location but very pricey!! Need a reservation.
We loved the biscuits and the atmosphere. Such a cute spot!
Great food. Perfect pre-game meal!
In spite of Covid, if you are going to open, you need more than two servers and a bartender would come in handy.
Enjoyed sharing a meal with my wife. The server was excellent and made the experience memorable. The food was really good and served up quickly.
Great table outside, and the Cobb Salad was tasty. Loved the pecan vinaigrette, and our server was very attentive.
Service was slow and not friendly. Cauliflower appetizer was not good, had no flavor.
After seeing the ratings, I was so excited to eat there but the food was not great. The biscuit was hard and the sausage was dry. The eggs were ok but nothing special. I had the Spanish omelette but it was mostly egg and avocado.
great location, good food, good service. felt staff respected COVID guidelines
Great food and great location!
I had a salad with grilled chicken on top. It was nothing special, and the size seemed more like a lunch portion. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was pretty good, but again not much as far as the portion size.
Great place for Sunday Brunch. Went with life long friends. The Tupelo biscuit is big, buttery and delicious. Two of us got the Southwest Omelet and we both loved the combination of chorizo, cheese, green salsa and avocado. The size of potato cracklings were perfectly cooked potatoes. I would go back just for the potatoes.
Tupelo put safety first, and we all thought social distancing and sanitation was used
Excellent food, great service. An enjoyable evening!
Food was just ok. Nothing to brag about. Service was slow. Not slow after we ordered, the food got out quickly. Just a lot of waiting before ordering and after. Probably won't go back to that particular location.
Great service and delicious food!
Tupelo Honey is always wonderful. We reserved a table outside and it was delightful! The service was wonderful and the food is always delicious.
The food was not what we expected for the price. The ambiance and location was great! They had some decent Gluten free choices but the waitress seemed disinterested! None of the food was bad but the only thing we loved was the fried green tomatoes.
Took my fiancée here for a date night, and we will definitely be coming back
Awesome food and service, as always! Tupelo Honey never fails to impress!
Great food and service
We loved Tupelo Honey! The hostess and our server took great care of us and the food was wonderful. Definitely get the fried green tomatoes and chicken. The restaurant was very clean and followed local Covid restrictions, which was very appreciated by my husband and I. Loved that we could reserve seating outside. We will be back!
The service was quick and jovial. The food was amazing and we left very satisfied. The dessert flight was a great way to end the meal.
We sat outside and got to enjoy all the great doggos wandering by, the steel drums in the square, and the amazing weather. The bartenders serve the patio so we’re had both of them. The first bartender while amazingly got our whole order right without writing it down wasn’t the most helpful or friendly. However the other bartender who had amazing bright orange hair was super sweet! The food was amazing and the drinks were decent. Highly recommend the banana pudding French toast and the shrimp and grits.
Always have a wonderful experience at this Tupelo Honey location! Brought my family in from out of town and they loved it!
It took a very long time to get our drinks and our server did not seem to be very educated on the menu. However, the food was great!
Our server Virginia I believe her name was, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful!! She helped us out with the menu and ordering drinks. She was super fun and made a slight wait for our food no big deal. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend you check them out!
