Love the atmosphere and food is amazing! I got the mountain bowl!! Delicious!!! Would definitely go back!
We went with friends before a show at DeVos. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere is good. The noise level was very loud with the music and talking making it hard to hear across the table. That would be our only reason not to go back.
We were seated 10 minutes before our reservation which I thought was a good sign. Then 25 minutes later our waitress finally stopped by to say she would be getting our waters. Another 10 minutes and we put in our food and drink orders (we were not going to miss that opportunity). It was a good hour and 20 minutes after being seated and we finally started to get our food, BTW, those listed above were the only interactions other than one time filling our waters with our waitress. She completely ignored us. As the food was coming out we just got our bill, finished our food, paid and left. It wasn’t even our waitress that cashed us out.
Food was amazing. They brought out everyone’s food except mine and there was a bit of a wait, but the waitress was very kind and got it resolved as soon as she noticed they didn’t bring it. It is on the pricier side, but I’ve never had a bad meal there and it’s gorgeous inside. Make a reservation!
We started with biscuits that were great! My husband had chicken and waffles that he very much enjoyed and I had ‘Old skool’ breakfast bowl that was also delicious. Highly recommend!
The food is always good and I enjoy the music while I eat.I always enjoy eating here its a good place if your lookin for a place to dine.
MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!! This is a popular spot! We loved our spot at the bar. Servers were quick and very friendly and helpful. Food was hot and yummy. Chicken and waffles—yum!!! Drinks were great—the glasses gave us a giggle. Loved my mimosa. Restrooms were very clean. A little noisier than we thought it would be but it was BUSY. Totally going back.
Birthday we got a table setting next to the middle door with people going in and out with 15 degrees out side it was very cold we asked to move us and we’re told no. With that experience it was not very nice. They should of accommodated our request.
amazing good and cocktails! I love going here for special occasions or just date night
The food was amazing. The ambiance was amazing and made dinner even better because of it. Our waiter Alex was top-notch and always made sure we were taken care of. Would come back again and again!
Delicious food, the fried chicken, grits, and collard greens were amazing! Great place to eat and close to DeVos for those going to a show! Plus the drinks were on point!
Great experience. Food was really good.
Wonderful server with helpful info, amazing food and drinks. Too may things to choose from. I have to come back to try more. Best fried pickles I have had.
Server was great, food was amazing.
Tupelo Honey was great! The service was awesome, the environment was beautiful and peaceful. We sat at a high top table. We wish the tables were a bit farther apart but didn’t bother us much. Salads were delicious. We didn’t add chicken because it was a pretty pricey add on for an already pricey salad. But, it was great! Will definitely go back.
It was a great experience and the staff treated us well and took care of us and my friends for my birthday and the food was very good definitely and drinks were good. Definitely a good place and we be back 😊🙏🏽
My friend and I had brunch there for the first time. We had a great time and service was wonderful!
Absolutely amazing every single time..............
I love Tupelo Honey, right now they’re the only restaurant serving brunch so late, which is amazing because all others have been closing early. Their food is amazing and so are their drinks. Their drinks are pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend.
Great food and easy to set up a reservation through their website. Staff were very friendly.
Absolutely love tupelo honey! The best food and service!
Brunch was awesome. Hot
Chicken and waffles were amazing.
First time dining everything was perfect. It was my birthday we sat in a booth it was very intimate! I absolutely recommend Tupelo Honey!
The tables were tiny and packed together. I was only a couple feet from the person at another table. We struggled to fit our food and drinks on the table it was so small. It also took 15 minutes for the waitress to first stop by our table. After we ordered, we waited 45 minutes for our food, only to be informed there was a "computer mishap" and our food was never made. Overall a disaster and a waste of a night out.
Wonderful first experience, definitely will not be our last. Our sitting fell through last minute so our 2 top became a 3 top, they were very accommodating. Lonnie, our server, was great. He made some wonderful recommendations, and checked on us regularly without seeming smothered. The sweet&spicy chicken was AMAZING!
Nice atmosphere and good comfort food , friendly service
Being told you would like to keep dining to an hour and a half could be delivered a bit softer. Perhaps a table notification versus verbalization?
Excellent food and service, highly recommend dining here!
Food was delicious, drinks were really good. Loved our server Eli! The only down fall was that the drinks were a pricey.
It was very busy, and that is a good sign. Not sure the kitchen was ready for a heavy influx of people, but it was great to see people out and about.
Food was very good--but a bit slow in delivery as some of us had to leave by 7:45 to get to DeVos Hall.
Might be a good idea to ask customers, on a weekend, if they have time constraints, and adjust for those who must leave early.
All in all--good wait staff and ambiance.
Kitchen was backed up, and one meal was cold in our party of four. The management did not charge for that meal.
Food is average at best, overdone at worst. Brussel sprouts were soggy and not at all crisp. The server however was lovely.
Noah was our server and he did an awesome job. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and answered our questions about the menu as this was our first time at your restaurant. The food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Our compliments to your chefs. The hostess was very welcoming as well. Great experience downtown Grand Rapids. Thanks to you and your staff.
Super cute inside! Only parking meters in garages so that’s the worst part. I had the shrimp and grits and that was amazing! Get the “biscuits for a cause” although I remember the jam being better last time I was there. I still ate it all. My friends had some kind of breakfast bowl that was cold with cold waffles but they said it was good. They gave us free mini desserts and brought out new waffles so my friends appreciated that. Street parking in that area is $1.75 an hour while the garage was $3 per 30 min. Just because of the location I’d be most likely to go back if I was doing something else downtown already like going to a show
Music was way too loud. It was hard to hear our conversation. Turn the volume down and our visit would have been perfect!
Tupelo Honey is a great spot for any meal! Love coming there to eat.
The food was amazing and the service impeccable. The place was beautiful and it was a great setting to have a birthday brunch. I very much will come again!
It was really cold inside the restaurant. It was a cold, windy winter day and it was hard to get warm inside the restaurant.
It was okay. We have had better experiences there and would go back.
