   I have been here many times, and while I ultimately always love what I get, it seems there is almost always something they are out of. Yesterday, it was wine. The one I ordered was out, and my backup choice was running low, so I ended up with a small pour compared to what I ordered. Previously, it has been a dessert and a side dish. In each of the last three visits, something has been unavailable. I feel for the waiter coming back to the table and letting us know! With that said, the food is excellent, they are open on Sundays (harder to find than you may think), they take reservations, and the service is always stellar!

   Farmhouse breakfast platter was very good. My wife and I had the same brunch with the only exception being her eggs were done over easy while I opted for sunny side up. Chorizo sausage was very flavorful. Potatoes were okay a little bit too dry and not as many as I would have liked.

   We were going to be seated in the middle of the room, so we asked to sit somewhere that was not in the middle of the room. So we went to a different section & had been seated in the middle of the room, despite it not being busy. Might sound petty, but you would think they would have seated us along the side. So many open tables on by the windows. Service was good. Food was excellent.

   Food was ok, atmosphere kind of devoid of any southern hospitality or charm, but service was excellent. We made a reservation for standard inside seating but they did not have a spot for us. It was either sit outside or at the bar. Disappointing experience.

   Overall a good experience. It is extremely loud however and makes it difficult to have a conversation or relax

   I have been to this restaurant several times before a show and this is the first time it took 45 minutes for our food. We had to eat as quickly as possible to get to our show on time. No time for dessert. Very disappointed. Also…even my Apple Watch told me the noise level was unacceptable.

    Decided to book this place while we were in Grand Rapids for Easter Sunday brunch. The wait time, ambience and cleanliness was acceptable. The waitress was ok. The food however was subpar..my shrimp and grits was topped with a greasy, watery substance with some type of ground meat,, grits were lukewarm and encrusted on top as if they had been sitting for a while,, scrambled eggs were cold as well, dry and had brown scrapings as if they were over cooked. The biscuits were hard and too cool to melt the butter. The remaining party of 3 were equally dissatisfied with their food. There are many other choices in the downtown Grand Rapids area.. choose one! Reservation : Ayers- Sunday, April 20th @ 11:30am
