Decided to book this place while we were in Grand Rapids for Easter Sunday brunch. The wait time, ambience and cleanliness was acceptable. The waitress was ok. The food however was subpar..my shrimp and grits was topped with a greasy, watery substance with some type of ground meat,, grits were lukewarm and encrusted on top as if they had been sitting for a while,, scrambled eggs were cold as well, dry and had brown scrapings as if they were over cooked. The biscuits were hard and too cool to melt the butter. The remaining party of 3 were equally dissatisfied with their food. There are many other choices in the downtown Grand Rapids area.. choose one! Reservation : Ayers- Sunday, April 20th @ 11:30am

Tupelo Honey is a total win! The vibe is fun and welcoming, and the food? Incredible. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the biscuits—wow. Definitely get the biscuits. Loved the unique cocktails too (highly recommend the one with the Old Fashion Flight!). Service was friendly and fast, and everything just felt relaxed but still special. Perfect spot for brunch or a laid-back dinner with friends. Can’t wait to go back!

Our service was terrible… our server didn’t refill our water, she didn’t clear our empty glasses and we had to ask her for boxes.

Food was great but server was slow and made several mistakes including a large error with the bill. Server charged us $21 for $130 check. Took 5 minutes to flag him down to get him to correct it and then took another 10 to get it changed.

I ordered over easy eggs, they came out where the whites were still watery. The sausage patties that came with my order had no crust on them and seemed like they were cooked in butter than tossed on the plate. The toast came out pre-buttered so much the bread was wet.

Extremely loud even on a Tuesday night. Chicken tenders were ok for being a fried chicken restaurant. Never had grits but they were incredible with fried green tomatoes!

As always, our meal was fantastic! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was loud and energetic. If you are looking for a quiet meal you won’t find that here. But the friendly service and delicious food are the draw.
