Overall great experience! They had good safety measures in place and the food was very tasty!
Delicious food!! Definitely request to sit inside, it’s very noisy outside with cars driving past and people walking around etc. you need a reservation for brunch on Sunday, it’s extremely busy/popular ! We got the breakfast bowl with fried chicken and it was so yummy! The servings are pretty large. I loved my peach pineapple mimosa, and our waitress was lovely!
Great food and great service!
As always a great choice! Drinks were fantastic as was the fried chicken & meatloaf. We will be back soon!
Great day in downtown Asheville!!
Was visiting Asheville for the weekend and saw it online. I had made reservations the night before. They were very quick with seating us and the service was pretty good. I was not impress with the food. Was quite pricey also. Breakfast for three was around $100. Don't mind paying if the food was good, but it was not that good.
Very good food. Service was excellent. We will be back. We came from down in the flat lands to experience this food.
Food was great! Sweet potato pancakes were a treat! Omelets were delicious! Chicken was fried to perfection! Our server Irish was delightful! Our entire party enjoyed the food and service. We thought it was the best place we had eaten during our trip to Asheville. I recommend the shoo mercy omelet dish as well as the shoo mercy pancake dish!
Family dinner out in Asheville. Great service and food was yummy.
Delicious down home fried chicken! Nice atmosphere outdoors, fast service
Service, food, drinks, and cleanliness were superb!
We always try to enjoy a meal here when we visit Asheville, we have always had a great experience with the staff and the food is amazing. This visit did not disappoint!
Best brunch! Fried tomatoes and fried chicken for the win. We came twice in 3 days because we enjoyed it so much. Great service and drinks too!
Wow, a rave review and you visited twice in three days? Our entire staff is blushing! Thanks so much for taking the time to review us, and I hope you think of us again next time you are in town. You rock!
Food was fantastic. Service was super friendly and efficient. Ambiance was great. Sat outside- great people watching.
Fried green tomatoes were very good. Fried chicken was disappointing- chicken was dry. Service was great and good COVID practices.
Excellent food , service
During this unprecedented time, we are appreciative of Tupelo Honey in requiring masks and social distancing of diners. The staff was fabulous and food good!
Amazing Brunch! Huge portions!
Our waitress was fantastic and great with our kids. The food was good, but not amazing. The Mac n cheese is great and the fried chicken too, mashed potatoes and collard greens were nothing exciting. I wanted to love this place and give it 5 stars. Maybe my expectations were just too high.
We sat on the patio and the weather was perfect! I wouldn’t discourage anyone from eating here, but I probably wouldn’t eat here again.
Outstanding food and service.
Would highly recommend!
Great food, we had two servers because one was in training. They both were very attentive!
the portion size was small but food taste was good.
Great dinner, good service. Menu has a wide variety, everything we saw coming out looked good. Also very good safety precautions re COVID
The restaurant was nice, our server thou was making us very uncomfortable. The minute we sat down she was stressing us to order. Every question we had regarding the menu she was annoyed by. She was just very rude. I asked her about the wines and that she did not like at all, she huffed under her mask while I was asking. I asked if the rose was on the lighter or darker side she responded what do you mean all rose is light!!! Seriously that not how you speak to guests!!!
She mentioned that it was her second day which is ok to make mistakes but you can’t be rude and have such an attitude.
Some good items came out wrong, which was fixed, the food was ok but not spectacular.
The bill was wrong too she overcharged is when I told her about it she tried to argue.
Would definitely not go back here. It’s unfortunate because the restaurant is nice and the overall ambiance as well.
Tupelo Honey was great. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the entire staff was very conscientious. Highly recommended.
It is sad to see how many homeless and unkept people are loitering all around the streets and parks in downtown.
Great service and social distancing policies!!
Staff is always extremely friendly and kind. The food is incredible. Highly recommend the sweet potato pancakes and chicken with the Siracha syrup. Mimosas are wonderful too- we had the blueberry pomegranate. Their biscuits for a cause are a must!
The overall food quality was lacking in seasonings. Our order of Brussel sprouts were overcooked as was our chicken. The fried green tomatoes lacked any taste.
Great brunch in downtown Asheville! They have the indoor and outdoor seating very well organized for social distancing. Great menu and cocktails!
Great friendly & fast service & everything we ordered tasted amazing!
great service; immediate table; will be back when we visit
Tupelo Honey is very popular in Asheville, and a must stop for brunch. They were very busy when our group arrived, but we were seated immediately with our reservation. The tables inside and outside were spaced appropriately for COVID-19 mandates, and all staff wore masks at all times. They even included a QR code at each table to scan for an online menu for extra precaution.
The food came out quickly from the kitchen, and was delicious! Our group would definitely eat here again.
We recently visited Asheville and made a reservation for dinner upon the suggestion of friends. The only available seating was a high top in the bar area. The atmosphere and comfort of the bar area was disappointing. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was good but a little soupy. Furthermore, the food runner quickly delivered our dinner by plopping it down on our table. Our waitress was new and overall did a fine job. Unfortunately, the waitress who was training her appeared annoyed/inconvenienced with helping her take care of our table. Overall, the experience was fine, but not enough to give this review top ratings or make it worthy of a future visit.
We had reserved seating outside and the covid precautions were very good. The inside was a bit crowded for my comfort.
Good food. Good service. We did not have to touch a menu as it was virtual. We’ll be back.
The food is amazing!
Great food! Made reservation but had to sit at bar due to amount of people/covid but we had an excellent bar tender. A yummy must in Asheville :)
Good food and service.
Everything was amazing. The service is always fantastic, as is the food. Everything was extra clean and spaced out due to Covid. I can’t say enough good things about Tupelo Honey.
Great service. Masks and sanitizer available. Great food. Would recommend.
We went to Tupelo Honey after our wedding for brunch. It was DELICIOUS! It was so good that we didn't need to eat the rest of the day. The service was great, and they gave us a little wedding gift, which was such a nice touch. Only downside is that it felt a little crowded in the era of COVID. Will definitely go again next time we are in Asheville.
