Awesome service and killer food and drinks! The megamosa (mega mimosa) was an awesome value and we had a blast!
Wonderful food! Service was great! They accommodated 11 of us at a table on a Saturday morning!
Biscuits were so good. I had the avocado egg Benedict which was amazing. But the sweet potato pancakes were so good too. Would definitely go back.
Amazing! Mimosas and food were all delicious! Service was awesome as well!
Very satisfying/ comfort food. Good service. Suggested avocado toast, but didn’t mention that we would also get heavenly biscuits. They should mention that when suggesting an appetizer. Large portions.
The restaurant was ridiculously noisy both from the restaurant patrons to the street noise. We were seated at a table where both my husbands chair and mine were wedged against the diners at the adjacent tables. The biscuits they bring at the start were a very nice touch. My salad looked like the lettuce was two weeks old. The fried chicken was fair. If you are very young and you drink enough the restaurant would be fine. When you get off the road after 14 hours, the noise and closeness was intolerable.
Awesome! Brussels sprouts were delicious!
Great food and friendly waiter. I would highly recommend this restaurant
Very good bar style comfort food. Popular spot for people watching from the outside tables. Great service.
Fabulous food. We had fried chicken sandwiches. The biscuits that were brought to the table were hot, freshly baked, delicious! Plus the honey and jam was amazing. Great service. We did not feel rushed and had time to visit.
My group was in town for a bachelorette party. We planned everything very carefully, including visiting the Tupelo Honey in Raleigh prior to reserving a table at the one in Asheville because we wanted to make sure it was the place for us. We were surprised that the food in Asheville was not as good as in Raleigh. The bride was bummed.
Unfortunately, while dining outside meal was disturbed by rather unpleasant street incident from apparently mentally deranged man.
Just our luck...we visit on a night with a loudmouth on his phone is dropping f-bombs and there are tables with young kids around. We mention this to our waitress and she knows, he has been drinking...then she says, “there’s not much we can do about it.” We’ll, you could ask him to leave if he insists on behaving this way. And if he refuses, call the police in that are 50 feet away. Amazing, one fool ruins 4-5 tables night out. Never again...
Fresh, local and delicious! I had trout, grits and green beans and enjoyed every bite! Prices were reasonable for the high quality of food. In the heart of downtown Asheville, I would definitely recommend it.
A wonderful example of a local and regional diamond. Great food and service, reflecting its region.
The food was incredibly overpriced. Service was great but not a good value.
Our waitress, Natalie was amazing and really made our first anniversary special!!
Like most Asheville restaurants, TH is pretty pricey. The food is pretty good, but not exceptional. We sat on the "kitchen side" and found it to be very noisy. Would have rather sat elsewhere. The wait staff was very good, efficient and friendly. Value for what we paid is questionable, however, we would probably go back for a special occasion.
Delicious brussel sprouts, proper bourbon old fashioned, tupelo shrimp n grits, & mountain trout! Excellent service, & addressed our kid's allergy issue really well. Would go back. Note didn't look as pictured on open table, maybe those are from a different location.
Amazing experience, the food is truly exceptional. wonderful staff and Mishelle, the manager is fabulous!
This was the wildest drink I ever saw.
Decided on Tupelo for lunch as I've had good experiences at the other locations. This wasn't much different. Biscuits were delicious, and the fried chicken is VERY good. We both had fried chicken sandwiches (Southern and Avocado). Service was good, not great. My water was empty for half of the meal and remained that way until we left. My wife had to request more coffee as well. I would return.
Chicken sandwich was awesome. Beer choice minimal and extremely overpriced
Delicious food! Little tight in bar booth seating.
Always excellent dining experience .... love sitting outside , people watching and eating incredible food
Great food and service.
Very noisy and crowded walkways. No place inside the restaurant to wait for a table. Meatloaf was very salty; fried chicken was good; biscuits were good.
Our sever was extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
Great place for scrumptious food! Large portions so be ready for a a takeout box! Awesome homemade biscuits served with Tupelo Honey! Great location to walk around and hear impromptu musicians and scheduled acts!
Loved the food, breakfast is so predictable but not here!
The food was not that good. My salad cam on a plate and kept falling off. My husband and I got two beers and they were both lukewarm. Not a favorite.
Food was excellent.
I was surprised at how good the spare ribs were there.
Easy reservations, especially for a Sat eve. Sampled a variety of items from the menu at our table of 4....wonderful food all-round and great service. Perfect location convenient to all of Asheville. Highly recommend
Okra as good ( or better) than mom’s
Enjoyed a delicious lunch and great environment.
Tupelo is a must visit while in Asheville.
Great southern homeyness on a plate.
Fried chicken and biscuit is a standard.
Everything tastes fresh and home cooked.
Wonderful food and EXCELLENT service!
Great service, delicious food, and creative brunch drinks!
Zoe was a fabulous server, and the food was outstanding. What stood out to my husband and me the most, though, was the teamwork that was evident among the staff. We work in the restaurant industry ourselves and we know how hard it is to create a family atmosphere where a team works together for the better good. We had several people stop by our table tonight: our lovely server Zoe, the gentleman who delivered our appetizer to us didn’t just drop it off but asked us if he could get anything for us before he left, another server stopped by on her way to the kitchen and took our empty plate from our appetizer to the kitchen with the dishes she already had in her hands (rather than leaving it there for our own server to take), and another lady delivered our dessert to us and asked if we needed anything else before she walked away. I just wanted someone to know that this teamwork did not go unnoticed tonight. Keep up the good work!
