Amazing, from app to dessert.
Terrific food and a pleasant/attentive wait staff.
Nice Sunday lunch. Always good food and nice atmosphere.
We were seated right at our reservation time! Food was absolutely amazing! We did have a lag in getting our drink order in but the manager/owner was very apologetic and even offered us appetizers on the house. Definitely will return again and highly recommend the blueberry mountain pancakes, shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles! Great service, great food and great time
This brunch was the final festivities of an impromptu trip to A-Ville for the weekend. The brunch did not let us down. Biscuits with blueberry butter = yum! Sticky Chicken sandwich with potato cracklings were amazing and the avocado Benedict on a biscuit was a fun twist on a brunch favorite! Top it off with traditional mimosas and it was a great finale!
The food here was beyond delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more. You definitely need to eat at Tupelo Honey if you’re in the area of one.
Fabulous! Our waitress Iris was the best. Such a great person!
Eat the avocado toast!! Anything with the siracha/honey sauce is amazing
Tupelo Honey never disappoints in the food area! They always have unique pairings and the food is always excellent! However, in my opinion, the drinks are way over priced. You get about 4oz of Sangria for 10-11. Their cocktails are always hit or miss and, for that price, you want them to be a hit everytime! Definitely come here for the food but take a walk around the nearby bars and restaurants for drinks!
The service was outstanding as we had a 6:30pm reservation and were seated immediately. The food was absolutely amazing...
Had the fried chicken with gravy, salad, and baked Mac-N-Cheese. Daughters had the Mac-N-Cheese waffle with hot chicken. Wife had a huge Cobb salad. You need to find a public parking garage because the restaurant has no parking. Garage is inexpensive.
We had the Brussels sprouts and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Both were very good but the fried green tomatoes were one of the best I ever had. The shrimp and grits were extremely tasty.
Decent local beers on tap but not top notch.
Never ran out of water. Service was fantastic. Timing of food was perfect. Not too fast and not waiting an excessive length of time.

I was disappointed that we could not get the grateful bean burger there which is why we made the reservation however the other food was good as a replacement.
The services was great and the food was delicious. There was no wait for our reservation.
Breakfast for an anniversary weekend trip. Classic Bloody Mary (x2) kicked the day off great. Been here a few times and have never gone wrong with the sweet potato pancakes 🥞
Fantastic food fantastic fun great way to experience Asheville
The excitement of Asheville's downtown was evident in this original local favorite. We have eaten many times in the South Asheville location and loved it, but the downtown one was also so cool with its own original flair. The Queen Bloody Mary is always awesome and the Fried Chicken courses or sandwiches are delicious. Also great service !
This was first all family outing for indoor dining and we made a great choice. Everyone has different tastes and all loved their meals! Staff was great, friendly, quickly responsive.
Food was fantastic! Server was attentive and friendly. No tush to order or dine. Very relaxed and pleasant. Hot biscuits were divine!!!
The food was fantastic! We had the grilled avocado chicken sandwich and the pulled pork grilled cheese. Both were delicious. Not a greasy grilled cheese. The mixed greens salad was very fresh and great too. The people were friendly and we were in and out in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this place!
Love this place! Great service, awesome drinks, and food was SCRUMPTIOUS! Recommend to anyone visiting Asheville looking for great food and a great atmosphere.
We got many items on menu! best items were the fried chicken and avocado toast. biscuits are overrated.
For all the hype, I found the food average. Maybe it’s really good for Asheville?? I’m also used to eating healthy and Tupelo does not offer any healthy/light options. It was good, but not memorable.
We had a very friendly and helpful wait staff. The food arrived super quick and was delicious. I loved the variety of menu choices.
You won’t regret getting the sweet and spicy fried chicken- it’s amazing! Paired with peach slaw and crispy brussel sprouts, it was a perfect meal. And get the biscuits too!
The food was phenomenal! Everything was mouth watering. Especially the ranch dressing. I tend to not like ranch dressing but their ranch dressing was something I have never tried before.
This was a great choice for our anniversary meal. The food was high quality, tasty and they catered to my gluten free needs. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, we will definitely go back next time we’re in town!
We went with some friends from out of state. Oh my gosh, we were all blown away. The food was amazing and the cocktails were incredible. 10 out of 10.
We enjoy taking guests to Tupelo Honey because of the name recognition. However, the experience is often one notch below Great. Often it is too loud to really carry on a conversation. Sometimes the food is "close, but not great." The service is usually good but not superb. I wish our recent experiences matched the glowing reviews we heard 5 years ago.
The original! Been to one of the franchises and the ambience and vibe just can't compete with the first one located in downtown Asheville NC on College Street across from Pritchard Park. Great food especially the veggies. Had green beans, peach slaw, and collards. Can't be beat. And my friends enjoyed bone-in chicken while my wife cleaned her plate of fried green tomatoes over grits. Gotten a little pricey but still worth it for a special occasion. Can't be beat!
Asheville hot chicken is a must have!
Terrible food. Terrible service. Outdoor diners were regularly accosted by people on the street who were either begging or just harassing and management did nothing about it. The waiter was not helpful at all. This place is riding on a history and reputation but providing no value to its customers.
It was our first time going out to eat since the Pandemic started. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Not only were their safety precautions first rate but the food was amazing. Safety was our first concern and they checked that box. All of our meals were amazing with the portions more than generous. We were a party of 6 and our table was in the corner at least 10 feet away from the nearest table. Our drinks were never left empty for long. Definitely check this place out if you’re visiting the area.
We sat inside near the bar. We had a great experience and all the food was fabulous. We come here every time we visit Asheville.
Great food, good service. Best fried pickles in town!
Great lunch. Reservations needed. We had several items and even more sides -- all were delicious.
Loved the chicken!! Pecan pie and Banana pudding is not to be missed!!
Always a great local go to for brunch or lunch. Right in the heart of downtown which makes it super accessible to walk anywhere downtown.
We had an excellent Mother’s Day brunch! I had a vegetable platter and mojito. My husband had fried chicken and craft beer. Our fav sides were the collards, Brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese and slaw. Exceeded expectations!
