First time dining here and we ordered For the Love of Cobb salad with fried chicken and the Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles with Mac & Cheese and shared. The salad was one of the best I've had in a long time. Layers of flavor in every bite. Would definitely order that again! My spouse is more of a chicken & waffles fan, but I had half of one of them and he had some of my salad. We ordered the dressing on the side, which I would recommend for both dishes. I didn't use it at all on the chicken & waffles--not needed--it was so flavorful without it. The waffles were delicious on their own. It was layered with a little mac & cheese, which helped to bind it together. It was magical! There was only a very little bit of mac & cheese, so would have loved a bit more of that on the side, but the overall dish was flavorful and exceeded our expectations. The chicken was delicious.

This was my and my wife’s first time at Tupelo. We had a reservation and were seated right away. It took 10 minutes before we were acknowledged at our table. After ordering our appetizers and drinks, we ordered dinner. Dinner was excessively salty. I couldn’t finish my dinner. I ordered the cast iron pork roast and my wife ordered the famous fried chicken. After dinner, we had to wait a long time to ask for our check. We felt like we were not appreciated or wanted as a guest. My wife and I both agreed after our dining experience, we do not need to dine at Tupelo again.

It was a busy Tuesday night because of Valentine's Day. We enjoyed our time there. The cauliflower appetizer was fantastic. Service was a little slow and it was louder than we prefer, but all in all it was good experience.

Very accommodating host, who was willing to turn our reservation for 2 into one for 4 with little delay. Our waitress was very friendly, patient and attentive. I’ve never had Chicken n Waffles and I was very happy with my decision to try them. Drinks were always watched for level’s; never had an empty water, and had fresh cocktails right when we needed them. Biscuits are a MUST (we had 2 for 4 people…plenty) and everyone else like their meals. A little loud, but it was busy and it just added to that feel of a popular and busy establishment..didn’t have to shout. Would highly recommend!

My daughter was in town and I wanted to show her this great new restaurant. Since my last visit in the Fall menu items have changed, not for the better Green beans now come soft and limp with little flavor. We ordered a side of the Mac and cheese and my daughter loved it. We ordered two sides to go. Oh my, what a small serving for $5.50 each. It honestly looked like someone’s left overs, maybe two spoons full to complete I hope they can return to their prior glory, right now it is down hill Brussel sprouts and potato sides are great! Cauliflower main course, they forgot to cook it. Very firm

This is a nice looking restaurant with mostly bland food and adequate service. Biscuits 2/5 basic drop biscuit served with cold hard butter Collards 3/5 adequate greens mostly vinegar and bacon, not served hot Green beans 1/5 bland Mac and cheese 2/5 mostly cheese seemed to be holding for a long time Sweet spicy chicken 1/5 not sweet not spicy over cooked, for what seems like a signature dish this is abysmal Mahimahi 4/5 almost perfect, slightly overcooked Lemonade 2/5 tasted strange Chicken Tortilla Soup 2/5 bland $140 for 6 for lunch, I would not return I would not recommend.

Fried pickles, chicken and meatloaf were excellent! Capped it off with the banana pudding. The only thing that could have been improved on was the side salad was a bit tired and could have been more crisp...but then again, we didn't come there for the side salad. I live in the Equitable building. It was easy to get to the restaurant using the skywalk. They had or reservation. Our table was set up in a corner next to the window. Very nice. Our waiter was very efficient. The food was good and delivered promptly. My wife was disappointed they did not have blue cheese dressing for her salad. It was a good experience.

Had a reservation for 6 at 8:45. When we arrived the staff had already started to clean up. Chairs on top of tables etc. We were told we had to order immediately upon sitting down because the kitchen and bar closed at 9. Our appetizers and entrees all came out at the same time. The waitress started clearing our table before we were done eating. Dessert was not available since the kitchen was closed. I do not understand why they would allow such a late reservation when the kitchen closed 15 minutes later. Very disappointing. Will not be back.
