Fried chicken is delicious. As well as the Brussels sprouts and biscuits!
I got seated towards the front of the restaurant and forgotten about in a matter of 20 minutes. nobody came to ask if we wanted drinks or had any questions about the menu. the restaurant wasn't that busy and waiters had been passing by our table multiple times without speaking to us. we got up and walked out. horrible service, or lack thereof.
The food was excellent and the vibe of the restaurant was very inviting! Would eat here often!
Everything was very good, except I feel like the fried chicken was a bit over cooked, so it was a bit dry. We go our fix on yummy biscuits and excellent mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.
Great experience for Sunday brunch. Really liked being able to make a reservation. Food was delish!
Delicious and waiter was handsome!
My burger was raw when it came to the table. I understand that sending food back is cumbersome, but the way our waitress almost refused to take the food back, acted like it was our fault the burger was raw, and then treated us poorly for the rest of our visit wasn’t ok. It was even confirmed by another waitstaff that the burger was completely uncooked and they were in shock that the kitchen staff even allowed it to come out of the kitchen. Worst service we have had, and we do not plan on going back any time soon.
Long wait to be seated (even though it was a slow night and we had reservations), and the table service was even slower. The cocktails were small for the price. But the food was the real letdown - very bland, and our orders came with the wrong sides. Unfortunately service was too slow to bother checking on us.
We have been to 2 other Tupelo Honey locations (Chattanooga & Asheville) and this one is not even a comparison. I do not recommend it.
Food was delicious. Alyssa was great!
The food and service were both above and beyond my expectations. The drinks were on point and delicious. And you do not want to miss their banana cream pudding, it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Go online to make a reservation prior to going to avoid any waiting is recommended.
Great southern menu, great service a must eat at in Denver
Jeff our server was awesome! My sweet potato bisque was extra yummy. My chicken was a bit fatty, however overall a great dining out experience. Thank you!
Great place from lunch, waited about 15 mins for service. Table was dirty, waitress was nice. Great Food
LOVED the food and the drinks were well made as well!
Glad you enjoyed your experience, Christopher. We take pride in our scratch Southern fare; so we're elated you loved it! We look forward to hosting you again. Cheers! Stefano Pindo Service Captain
They were a little short staffed, and out of a few menu items, but we would definitely go back.
We ordered the biscuits, brussel sprouts, and two different fried chicken sandwiches with the intention of taking half home for dinner…we finished it all. The food was absolutely amazing, our waiter was so attentive and social, and we hardly noticed the train station immediately outside. I take everyone here for lunch before they catch the train to the airport.
Heck yes, Bren! We love that! Keep 'em coming and we'll keep feeding 'em! So glad you enjoyed your experience with us; it's always an added bonus when a guest is as fun to serve as you we're. Can't wait to host you again soon. Cheers, Stefano
Good biscuits and cocktails, but the rest of the food was not great (we ordered a benny and a bowl). And then, when we were done with brunch we thought we'd just move over to the bar to watch the Bronco's game, but we were told we couldn't sit there with our eight-month-old ... so we moved to a high top in the bar area, where we were directed by their staff, and were completely ignored. So we left.
Fried Chicken was dry. Service was slow, but friendly. We know that staffing is tough.
Great food, great service and friendly staff.
We had a bit of a struggle getting to Tupelo: it was Sunday morning, but there was nowhere to park, and the nearest parking garage was not open. We finally found a space and arrived for our 9 am reservation -- to find that the restaurant does not open until 9. Good thing I didn't take the 8 or 8:30 am spots that were available! (I just checked this, looks like they fixed it.) The music was BLARING. We asked for it to be turned down, and it was - briefly. Went back up to 8/10 but bearable. Next, I asked for cold brew coffee. Cold brew coffee is NOT iced coffee. It is brewed at room temperature, and then chilled. So why serve it over a glass full of ice like a Coke?? Ice will just melt and water it down. I fished all the cubes out and was left with half a serving of coffee. Finally, the food was delicious, perfect serving sizes, good service. I recommend the sweet potato pancakes with blueberry topping. The pancakes were tender, not too dense or tough, as sweet potato cakes can sometimes be. Overall a nice way to treat yourself, but leave early if you need to park.
Incredible food (everything all of us had was delicious and blew us away), our waiter Jamie was hilarious, attentive and made great recommendations, oh and the cocktails were top notch. So much value for money here! Will definitely be back soon.
The food was great but our server Shania was horrible. We were very neglected and she had a horrible attitude when we asked for help.
Overall I would say Tupelo is a shaky three star restaurant. The food was pretty good, but the cocktails were overly sweet and even with an extra shot of tequil, the Paloma was very weak. But the real problem the restaurant has is its staffing. I'm trying to be fair with the lack of staffing due to Covid, but this was bad. We walked in at the same time as three other parties. We all stood in line and waited to be checked in by the hostess that was bussing table between each new guest. As my turn came up she informed me I was lucky I was there at that time as she was just about to cancel my reservation. Note, I'd been standing in line to check in for about 10 minutes. Then after being seated, we waited over 20 minutes to have water brought to us. As each server whisked by us, over and over again, they all avoided eye contact. Finally, someone came to take our drink order. We waited another 15 minutes for our first round of drinks. The rest of the night proved more of the same. Unfortunately, I should have read the previous reviews before making a reservation. But I was dying to give them a try. We won't go back.
Great location to enjoy a comfort food meal with a top line of spirits!
The food here was outstanding. From the appetizers, to the entrees, to the main course, to the drinks, I was completely impressed. The best part by far was the the service. Jamie was very welcoming and super attentive. This is not a place to be missed.
Such good food and wonderful experience. We were seated outside. Jamie, our server, was great. Very personable and friendly. Made us feel special. Can’t wait to come back again.
What a fun place! The food was delicious-sweet potato pancakes with blueberry compote, busquits, gravy and chicken-all so yummy. Our server was so kind and friendly. Great theme and decor.
Bad service - cold food and wrong dinners - grits had plastic in them and the server asked "oh what do you want me to do about it"
Ordered an appetizer which came after our dinner was over and they charged us for it !
Service was awesome… until they got too busy. But the food was worth it!!!
Great food, great waiter, we really enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely go again
Food and drinks were good. Service was excellent. Great people watching out the windows.
Delicious food and drinks. Tried 2 flavors of the chicken and waffles and they were both amazing.
Stayed fast, attentive server, food quality excellent. Only downside was when the sweet potatoe casserole was too spicy to eat, another option was not suggested. My friend was only given the one side and not two that came with the dinner.
Very good food. The cocktails are also good but have dumb names
Buena comida y excelente servicio.
The food was very good. However the service was poor. We waited almost an hour to get our drinks. The server seemed to not quite comprehend when we would ask her something. It seemed to go in one ear and out the other. When re-filling our water cups, she wasn't paying attention and poured water into one of our friends beer cup... Overall unimpressed with the service. Bummed because I have gone there before and never experienced service this terrible.
Tupelo Honey is always a great go-to for brunch! They were very accommodating, even when I needed to add two more seats.
Delicious food! We sat outside and enjoyed brunch!
The hostess was rude. Assumed all the black people were in the same party.
