Music was sort of loud but overall a good fun experience
Great food, enjoyed the Rainbow Bowl, Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken and Waffles with Gravy and topped it off with Banana Pudding! We waddled away satisfied and looking forward to our next visit!
Everything we had was delicious: biscuits, fried chicken, and macaroni and cheese.
We're midwesterners so southern is a rare treat. Perfectly succulent shrimp in a spicy sausage flavored sauce over creamy grits was just what I needed. The crispy cauliflower hit the flavor burst spot we were craving. The classic bloody mary is practically a food course and my husbands mahii taco was perfectly grilled not fried. A trip to Louisiana while we were in Denver, we loved it!
Very polite and hospitable host. Beautiful ambience and kind, quick, attentive service. Really great food at a wonderful price point. We will be back!
Great wait staff, host seemed hesitant to seat us on the patio, but overall a great experience would recommend
We really enjoyed our brunch cocktails followed by a delicious meal! great ambiance for any time of day.
Bridal Shower - excellent service , delicious food
Always a great meal and brunch, mom's first time she she loved it!
We came for breakfast and boy did Tupelo Honey not disappoint. We had 8 ladies, most of whom had dietary restrictions, some quite severe, and the waiter did not bat an eyelash. He was awesome, confirmed every food allergy and restriction, and got every order spot on! We ordered a lot of food and every dish was incredible. Special shout out to the potato cracklings and the fried green tomatoes - but truly everything was awesome!
Our server was delightful. The peach slaw was good.
Otherwise a totally disappointing experience. Food was bland, and the famous chicken was dry. They were out of their signature dessert, and the cocktails were weak. Even the restroom needed attention with no toilet paper by 8 pm. Did not live up to its marketing in any way.
Also they did nothing to acknowledge the special occasion I had included in the reservation.
Very good. They were out of a few menu items, which was disappointing. Portions are very large. Good southern comfort food.
It was great, as always!
The best fried chicken in Denver. Tupelo Honey has the best, THE BEST fried chicken in the city.
LOVE this place!!! Second time here and the food is incredible. Everything we have eaten has been superb. Wi definitely continue coming back!
So their speciality is fried chicken. Let’s start with they use poor quality scrawny chickens, over cook them until they are totally dry and tasteless. Served with reheated Luke warm Mac & Cheese. Won’t be back.
Waitress was bad and very slow. Bright lights came on and felt rushed
to leave before finishing our drinks.
We were excited to try Tupelo Honey out and were really looking forward to it. Made a same-day reservation on OpenTable with ease. Hostess greeted us promptly and politely and it is a beautiful space, but it went downhill from there. No matter how good the ambiance or food is, service makes the overall impression and in this case, it was lacking. Our waitress took more than 7 minutes to greet us, and by that I mean she asked if we were ready to order - no hello, no asking for drinks or questions about the menu. After that we saw her one other time, to deliver the bill.
Food was pretty good, but this visit left a bad taste in our mouths. Disappointed.
Our server was Mandy was fantastic!! She was overwhelmed with 10 tables on a busy night but still made us feel at home.
Third time there in a month. I’ve had brunch, lunch and dinner. It is all delicious!
Food was good and the service was excellent.
This place is incredible. We went for brunch and the food was probably some of the best I’ve ever had, the mimosas were delicious and unique, and the atmosphere was wonderful and adorable!
It was our first time dinning here and everything was amazing! Going to a new place can be a little stressful and ordering can be intimidating. However, our server was Jamie and he was fabulous! He made recommendations from drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert. Jamie was charming, funny, and very attentive but not overly intrusive. We will definitely go back and take our family. My husband hates to change his routine and try new places that can seem trendy. Jamie won him over and he has already told several people about this place in the last 24hrs.
Great food! Good service. Loved that they had patio seating. Will go back
Quick and easy reservation, great service, absolutely fantastic food!
Waiter tried to convince me that my order was correct after I brought it to his attention. When the bill came, it showed that what I had wasn't what I ordered. What I had was OK so I didn't bother to debate it. Outside of that, it was an OK place.
Breakfast was delicious! Fresh and creative dishes!
We loved our breakfast and being able to watch the British Open while we ate. Great place and the grits....are to die for!!
I cannot comment on the food because we were never actually served. We were seated right away and then were never greeted. No one ever came to our table (it was not busy at all). We finally walked out after 20 minutes.
Yummy food. Friendly wait staff. Dodo they will go again.
I love this place! My friends and I had a dinner and it was so much fun.
Came back die an afternoon on my birthday and it was so special the way my bartender took care of me!
Always will recommend!
I would highly recommend. Service was very good. Food was great!
We had a lunch meeting there. 1/2 and 1/2 was great! The crispy chicken sandwich was really good as well cole slaw and collards.
Great food great atmosphere
Absolutely amazing food in a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
Awesome food, great service, very cool spot in Downtown Denver, Maria was fabulous! The experience was consistent with my visits at other Tupelo Honey's.
It’s been a while since I last visited this location and it seems it’s gone a bit downhill. Not sure if that’s due to lack of staff from covid but our poor waiter had a huge area and no bus boy or staff to help him clean tables in between guests or help with food delivery. He was great though however the food was underwhelming. Most everything we ordered tasted bland and under seasoned which was not my lady experience. Hopefully the kitchen and staff can turn it around soon
They were a bit confused about the reservation. We had a baby in a carrier with us and it seemed to throw them off a bit. It was quite peculiar. The food was good, but I do not know if we will return because of the way we were treated. It was also like they had never seen Black people before. You would think a restaurant that serves "southern cuisine" would be more welcoming and create a better atmosphere for diverse communities.
The food was excellent but the service was mediocre.
