Southern
Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. Steps from historic Denver Union Station, we craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Always scratch-made, always responsibly-soured, and always Southern.

Reservations are strongly recommended, and we will accommodate walk-ins where possible.

Food here is always amazing!!! Staff are super nice and accommodating. This time we had the fried pickles, if you do not like ranch try them with the siracha honey!!! The old school breakfast bowl is AMAZING!! If you want more protein add chicken with siracha honey!! I will be back soon!

I love Tupelo Honey! The quality of their food and cocktails never disappoints. Fantastic shrimp and grits! This is one of the best southern cuisine eateries I’ve ever been too. Service can be a little slow- but worth the wait!

I was expecting the food to have a little more flavor. The biscuits are really good! The cocktails were also good. It was fun place to hang out and filled up quickly when the Broncos game let out. I would give this place a second try in the future.

Our server was terrible. I hate saying that, but she made no effort to engage, it took 20+ minutes for each drink, she overcharged us for meals, didn’t even ask my friend if she wanted cream or sugar with her coffee (my friend had to ask her twice for milk), and was just not friendly overall. She never offered us water refills. I had to ask as we were getting our check, and our waters had been empty for a while.

It was busy because of the Broncos game, but she literally didn’t even say, “hi my name is _____.” It made the experience so much less enjoyable honestly. I get being busy and waiting longer for items, but at least be somewhat personable and just explain that it’s a little crazy so things might take longer.

We’ve been many times and the food is always great. I would say our table and the floor around us was a little dirty (just crumbs) but that was out of the ordinary from our previous experiences. The servers we friendly and the food was fantastic!

Fair service because of his attitude.
Warm coffee, not hot. Sat us at a table where it was uncomfortable; requested booth but was told it’s for more than 2, however sat couples after we arrived in a booth. We had reservations.

Such great food and service. We had the biscuits with blueberry compote and I had the avocado toast and eggs, my husband had the breakfast with grits. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect!

Pork was undercooked and potatoes overcooked. Cathead biscuits perfect as always. NYE, so very lively and fun atmosphere. Food was disappointing overall.

Banana pudding was disappointing not caramelized on top just dumped from a jar. Our server was friendly but food was just average. Chicken pieces were scrawny and some what over cooked. Butter was too cold so it didn't spread and nobody had warmed up the biscuit.

We brought friends down for their first visit to Tupelo Honey. They were impressed with the food as well as the close proximity to Union Station and the Light Rail. Very friendly waitress and of course the fried chicken is the best

Menu has changed, lacks southern standards once in the menu. Food quality ok. Ambiance has greatly declined post-Covid. Not the same place. Loud pop music?? Used to be a favorite, probably won’t ever go back now.

Excellent place for brunch! Party of 8 served at our scheduled time-great service. Bloody Mary's and mimosas were enjoyed by our party. Ordered biscuits for the table and they were delicious-fluffy and huge served with butter and jam. Everyone ordered something different but all agreed the food was amazing including those of us that had grits and the yummy potato cracklings!

Food was good except the fried pickles could’ve been crispier. One kid exclaimed the waffles were GOOD, emphasis on the capital G! Biscuits were also a hit! Shrimp and grits was good although the grits a little runny. I wish the overhead music was something to reflect the southern inspired menu though. House music doesn’t add to the overall vibe.
