   I reserved a table for Mother’s Day 2 months in advance. When I was seated, it was a 2 person table against the wall in middle of server walk way. I asked the hostess if this is the table I get when I make a reservation. She said yes and walked away. I placed an order with an appetizer. Both were delivered at same time and my entree was cold. No-one stopped by to ask me if everything was OK. This is my fourth time eating at Tupelo Honey, and the eggs looked dirty like they were cooked in bacon grease. My wife had ordered the crispy potatoes and she got 2 potato pieces on Mother’s Day! We had two breakfast plates, an okra appetizer, and two teas. The bill was $58. I will be spending my money at places that value my business instead of treating like a number and rushing me out. Oh by the way, they had at least 12 empty tables that were not cleaned so no one could sit there.

   I went here with my mother in law for Mother’s Day breakfast. I’ve been to other locations before and have always loved it. This time was no different. I had the shrimp and grits for the first time which were delicious. The dish is not too heavy and the grilled lemon adds a nice little citrus to it. The breakfast bowl was also ordered and it was good as well. The potatoes in it were crispy which was nice. Our server, Olivia, was great and very attentive. Highly recommend.

   The only complaint we have is that the outside dining area should have some sort of cover on the one side the sun hits during sunset to block out the direct sunlight from blinding the guests at least a little bit. It would’ve made the experience much more enjoyable. Besides that, the food and server were more than great and we had a good time!! Definitely will come back.

   Very nice dining experience at this popular gem in Columbia's burgeoning Bull St. District. The honey dusted chicken, salad and mud pie and banana puddings desserts were excellent along with very attentive, aim-to-please service. The space was clean and nicely decorated, projecting a warm and welcoming ambiance. My only gripe is the mac& cheese. Mine came out lukewarm and they replaced it for free, but the sauce was heavy and overly thick. The noodles were a bit tough and it did not match the quality of the other items we ordered. I feel like Tupelo's top brass need to re-work how they prepare this item. Everything else is top-notch.

   Food was very good! Waitor staff was good. Happy Hour ends @ 6 pm. Would have been nice to have this a little longer! Need another starch for a side. I'll def dine here again!

   What a cute restaurant, delicous food, BUT terrible service. our reservation was at 715. we were still not seated by 730. the restaurant was nearly empty and there were plenty of staff standing around and not bussing or cleaning tables. when we were finally seated, they didn't bring enough menus, place settings, or wrapped silver. we ordered apps after being informed there were NO GRITS (so we couldn't order the fried green tomatoes on the bed of goat cheese grits appetizer) when the apps came (fried okra that didn't seem fresh), and chips and pimento queso, no one could eat them becuase not everone had silverware/napkin setting, and there were no shareplates. When it came time to order entrees, I asked if he had found out if I would be able to get the Shrimp and grits (he had a agreed to find out if i could get the grits). He said no, but come back tomorrow if you want grits. I was in town for a wedding and probably will never go back to the restaurant. There's more that was disappointing including his attempts to upsell us on everything. Also, he didn't split the check the correct way. Overall good experience, but lacking in service and not a ton of variety on the menu.

   The Brussels were so salty. This was at 4 pm and they were out of “champagne “ for the day so no mimosas were available on a Sunday after a musical. The outdoor seating area floor was filthy. Needed clean. We were brought the wrong food. No silverwear. I don’t like to complain but after we paid our bill we let the front staff manager it didn’t meet our expectations. She was very polite. She had heard the Brussels were too salty… 🙄. It is not the Tupelo of Asheville.

   This was my first time visiting the Columbia location and I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious the restaurant is. The service was amazing. Amaris is excellent at her job. The food was top notch as well and I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

   POOR experience. We had a reservation for 4 (including a high chair). We were seated at a high top table and asked if we could have a shorter table that would accommodate a highchair. We were told there were no lower tables available and that we were not allowed to put a high chair at the high top table. This left us with a choice to leave or hold the baby while we had our brunch.  We opted to leave and had a much better experience and meal around the corner at Publico.

    This was a great place to reconnect with friends. Our server, Juliette or Julianna was awesome (my apologies for not recalling her name). She was fantastic- pleasant, attentive and happy to serve a party of 10.
