Food was decent but have had far better “Southern Fried Chicken”.
Nice place. I'd go again, but maybe with a smaller group. Food was great and bartenders friendly & efficient. Small bar to be crammed into for an hour. We had 7:30 reservations for 6 people, showed up @7, and didn't get seated until 8:05. We walked by 3 empty 4 tops on the way to our table.
I’m not sure what the fuss is about. The fried chicken was good, but not outstanding. It was overcooked on the edges. The mashed potatoes were good, as were the Brussels Sprouts.
The menu was dirty/ sticky, so were the salt & pepper shakers.
We weren’t even offered dessert. We felt rather rushed.
I’m from out of town and This was my 2nd time here and the first time was fantastic. I brought colleagues with me this time. This time we waited 15 min for our table when the restaurant was only half full. The service was slow and the food was luke warm (but tasty). Overall, it was disappointing after such a great experience the first time.
It was a great place to eat. Food price wasn't too expensive. Alot of options for vegetarians. Not many options for vegans. Overall a great place to eat at.
Excellent staff. Very attentive and helpful. Very good experience
Never received the appetizer we ordered, service was very slow and restaurant was messy
Chris our waiter made our dining a pleasure. He is a real professional. Food was great and all of our entrees were tasteful and hot
We had alex on his first day of serving and he as great. The food was delicious. For drinks we had the lovely bees knees and Appalachian mimosas, fantastic.
Tasty, simply but solidly prepared Southern style food, spiced in a way to match the unique tastes of the different food proteins. We ordered the fried chicken and pork shoulder and found the dark meat chicken to be wrapped in basic but flavorful breading, avoiding the tendency of many chicken restaurants to produce dry, overcooked food. The pork shoulder was soft and pliable but retained its natural flavor and melded nicely with the slightly sweet duck fat. Sides were all very fabulous with special kudos to the baked garlic potatoes and carrot cauliflower sauté.
Great food, great service
Sunday breakfast was excellent Will go again soon
Delicious food and fabulous service. We took our four kids for brunch and everyone found something to enjoy. The biscuits to start were fabulous! Service was perfect.
The food was amazing, as always. I was a little underwhelmed with our server, but he took care of us.
Tupelo Honey was wonderful! We had excellent service, the ambiance was great, and most of all, the food was delicious! It was the perfect experience on a cool, rainy night in Greenville.
Great food and better service!
Always great clean fresh southern cooking! It was a simple online process for a reservation and seated us right away upon arrival. The server was relaxed and happy and that rubbed off on us after a busy work day.
We left very satisfied and with leftovers.
Our first Tupelo Honey visit ever. We had heard from friends, how very good Tupelo Honey was, and we were not disappointed. We were a bit late for our reservationtime, but the staff just shifted our time and table and worked us in. Server made sure we 'moved along', as we were tunning behind on other engagments as well. Food (chicken) was excellent.
Pricey food but definitely worth it. Excellent service considering it was a busy Sunday brunch.
We waited 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, and the host staff was not apologetic or explained the situation. What seemed to be a manager asked a table beside us who had been hanging out after finishing their meal if they could migrate elsewhere so they can sit their table due to long waits for other reservations (in a polite way and in so many other words.) So I suppose this was a trend of the day. Our server, luckily, was amazing! The food was pretty good.
Fantastic food, a bit costly, but a great treat for brunch! Also their wait staff are some of the nicest people in the business!
We stop at TH once a year, either the Greenville or Asheville location. I’ve always preferred the G’ville for the ambience. But something was off this time. They did accommodate a seat change from a table to a booth which I appreciated. Service was good. Food was just ok. My husband enjoyed his eggs and grits. I ordered the southern shakshuka, had it before in Asheville and loved it. Not the case this time. Sloppily put together, the creole sauce was way overpowering and too much. I shoved at least a cups worth to the side. I also specified ahead of the order that I don’t like really runny eggs and was assured they wouldn’t be since they are baked. As soon as my fork touched the white part, the yolk came running out all over the dish. I also ordered a side of bacon which came out thrown on top of the shakshuka, instead of a side plate. I took a picture of the same dish from the Asheville location and it looked way more appetizing there. I hope it was just an off day for the cooks and not a sign of slipping quality.
Tupelo Honey is a fun place to dine with fantastic chicken! Service is always outstanding!
Every experience I have at Tupelo Honey is great! My waiter Michael was exceptional and made my visit a true pleasure!
Our group of ten was seated immediately in a terrific location where we could talk to and hear one another easily. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor, and the apps came out so fast, we were surprised! (Possibly due to our early 5:30pm arrival ;) Our entrees all came at once with no mistakes, and everyone commented on the freshness and delicious flavors they were experiencing. Thanks, Open Table, for making it easy to reserve our spaces!!
We enjoyed our stay in Tupelo Honey! It was our first Lunch there and we are excited!!!!
Thank you!!
I needed comfort food today even tho it was a business lunch and Tupelo Honey delivered!
The fried chicken and fried Brussels Sprouts were oozing with grease. They were tasty but really unhealthy.
Great Food!!!
waiter seemed to be a ghost. had to get up and search the place to find him. he never checked with us after delivering the food IF he had I would have told him the burger was not even warm and the fries were cold. truly not up to the standards we normally get there!!!
Amazing brunch. The eggs benedict with fried green tomato, farmers cheese, and avocado was perfection. Service, spot on.
Had breakfast. Fortunately made a reservation earlier that morning because there was a two hour wait on a Sunday. Breakfast was good but can’t say I’ll remember it. Blueberry compote was delicious.
Heather was our waitress and did an outstanding job. Good was awesome.
Great stuff, great food.
Another great meal at Tupelo Honey. The food is always great and the atmosphere is just so upbeat and enjoyable every time we eat here!
We were told it was a “must visit” and it was so true. From craft cocktails at the bar to southern cooking at our table. It was a great dining experience!!
Food was subpar, a lot of the meals were lacking in salt and flavor.
For a restaurant that features chicken, the one sliced breast served was dry and cool . A second person ordered the meatloaf that was cooked in a muffin pan, this the size was that of a muffin and itself over cooked and Luke warm. The third order was a signature pimento cheese burger, again lukewarm. The server who brought our food warned us to be careful as the plates were hot, unfortunately the food wasn’t. Having eaten breakfast at this location and a sister restaurant in Knoxville, both top rated experiences, maybe the evening is best left to orhers
Delicious food. Southern with a twist! Tried about 7 different dishes. Everyone was amazingly good.
Great food, excellent service, nice view. The trout was outstanding, according to my wife.
