Food was decent. Some of the items aren’t available during the week so that’s lame. Service was ok considering it was Wednesday. The only thing that grossed us out was the bartender not using gloves to prep the drinks. He was touching all the garnishes with his fingers and not washing his hands afterwards. During COVID-19, that’s a no-go. I ordered a Bloody Mary and didn’t enjoy the side items with it.
My wife and I had an enjoyable time and planning to revisit the restaurant in the near future.
Reasonable Sunday lunch but huge portions and rather weird flavor combinations in the bowls. The fried chicken is delicious as were the biscuits!
First time visiting, kids had been to the restaurant before so it was their recommended spot. The ladies enjoyed their brunch w/ mimosas. The biscuits to start off are a wise choice. As I like sriracha, the chicken and waffles w/ sriracha was tasty. Not hot, a nice spicy bite with the sweet syrup. I recommend visiting if you are looking for breakfast/brunch or late evening snack.
My friend found the blueberry waffles too sweet and would have preferred just blueberries instead of the blueberry/jam/syrup mixture. We loved the biscuits and I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes.
But what really made our experience was our server Liz. She was so kind and attentive and friendly without being too invasive or pushy. She answered our questions and made us feel welcome and had such a great demeanor it really made us enjoy our experience and made it a memorable meal
Went for brunch with my family for the first time. Great service and food plus very kid friendly... brought juice and made a special plate for my 3year old! Will be going back next weekend!
Our sever was pretty aloof and slow
The food is always precooked and cold by the time it gets to the table.
Never referring anyone there.
Sat outside on a gorgeous Sunday for my bday. The service was exceptional. The food - for the most part - was spot on. Fried green tomatoes, biscuits, sweet potato pancakes were all BOMB. Two different mimosas were delicious and strong. They fell short on the main dish - which was the same for both of us: the Fit to Be Tied Pickled the potato cracklins lacked any flavor, were undercooked, and weren't crispy; the fried pickles were wet and soggy; the pimento cheese was under-seasoned and a bit clumpy. Shame on this because a. it was the main dish, b. we both had it, and c. everything else was so damn good. I would never order that dish again.
Great place! Would definitely recommend for southern food.
The food could have been more flavorful. I expected more taste wise. Beautiful presentation though. The drinks were on point and the ambiance was perfect southern hospitality. The service was outstanding!
Wanted breakfast and usually enjoy this place for the food and overall service. This time was just meh! Felt like a waste.
I came here on Wednesday April 7th for my birthday and it was awesome. They were so kind and treated me like a princess, which was nice. Having my second quarantine birthday wasn't that great but they made it so memorable. I felt bad for the servers who were working because they were the only servers in the whole restaurant. Overall, it was so wonderful. We will definitely be back.
Food was average price but not that good. Took a while for my simple meal to be received.
Easter Brunch reservation for 3. Sat outside. Enjoyed bloody mary while waiting for our appetizers. Restaurant is following all Covid Protocols. Great service and delicious food. The buscuits and fried pickles are amazing! The Shrimp and grits was our favorite entree!
The food was great (large portions), the service was outstanding, and the ambiance was very clean and inviting. Great place!!
Had a great time at Tupelo Honey! The service was excellent, as well as the food! They also do a great job sanitizing each table afterwards so I felt very safe overall.
Staff was nice and attentive even though they were insanely busy
Delicious! Best fried chicken and waffles I’ve had in a long time.
Nice. Different. Great chicken
Amazing as always, food is great, service is great and the rewards app adds another layer of quality.
It's getting warmer so the outdoor patio is a great place for dinner.
Our server was very good 👍 Food was splendid. Will be back.
Cute and small cafe - incredible food options and great service. I had the Brussel sprouts to start which were amazing and the the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich (get fried!)w/ Mac and cheese.
Food is good, expensive for sure. I would eat here again based on the quality of the food.
This is a very good restaurant. Love the menu of Southern style cuisine.
This was one of my daughters favorite; however the food was really not what we were used to getting. The quality has really decreased!
Food was amazing...Fried chicken, bananas pudding to die for...I'm going back very soon:)
Good food, nice ambiance and good service. Will be a repeat customer.
Excellent Excellent Excellent. Jessica and Lawrence were super helpful and accommodating
The banana pudding french toast is out of this world!!!! Mimosas are a very healthy pour!!! Great spot!!!!
Birthday Brunch for a friend! Everything was amazing. The mimosas were absolutely delicious and everyone was so nice and attentive. Will definitely return!
My French tasted absolutely awful. Bathrooms were horrendous, it was literally like no one looked after it. Waiter took forever to come and ask for our orders. My bacon for some reason tasted like bananas. I tasted one piece and almost gagged in my mouth. This is very disappointing because I love the Tupelo Homey in Virginia Beach but this one on Arlington was so bad. I don’t recommend anyone coming here. Just pick another restaurant to eat at.
Service was very slow. Not sure if it’s like that all the time; this was my first time dining here. But the food was good.
Tupelo Honey never disappoints. Had the blackened catfish with green beans and grits as sides.
It was freezing in the restaurant! Service was good, food was good. This was my second visit to Tupelo Honey, everything was just ok.
The bartenders are so nice! Definitely recommend going here for dates or even just for the food
Date night in the time of COVID-19. Love the THC; My husband and decided to go out. Everyone respected the social distancing guidelines and they all seem to be enjoying themselves. Friendly and kind staff. We ordered the “biscuits for a cause”, because it helps to give back in the smallest way – pay it forward people. My husband tried the shrimp and grits and love them! I had a BBQ burger and fries. Delicious! I had a mini banana pudding and my husband had the mini chocolatey pecan pie, both were excellent. We will be back for more date nights.
Food, service, and atmosphere was great. Had an amazing time or and our waitress was amazing. God bless the chief hands because the food was nothing but amazing.
Absolutely amazing brunch. So delicious. Our server was so kind and attentive. Our food came wicked fast and tasted like heaven on a plate. We got the Shoo mercy and the Pickled Benedict. Absolutely delicious.
