Amazing experience for my husband's birthday. The waitress went above and beyond and so did the host! Thanks so much for making this special for him!
Good food. Excellent service.
Super friendly service and amazing food.
Food was delicious! Service was great! Excellent place!!!
Food was priced well. Fried chicken was a bit more bone than meat. Liquor service a bit slow. Desserts were amazing
The server and service was great. It just made me a little uncomfortable because only one server had on a mask. Not even the cooks has on mask. That made me feel a little uneasy.
I LOVE Tupelo Honey, their chicken and waffles are to die for. This was my second time here and it won't be my last, it's definitely one of my top 3 brunch spots for Arlington, and maybe even the entire DMV.
Excellent experience at Tupelo. My friends were running late and the host was so patient. He never made me feel bad and the restaurant was pretty crowded. Food was delicious and we had plenty of time to eat and chat.
The food was overall a bit bland. The shrimp did not taste very fresh. The grain bowl came with comically large slices of onion… way too much for the size of the meal. The butternut squash soup had the consistency and flavor of baby food. The service was ok… not great. The biscuits were really good though.
I have been to the Tupelo Honey in VA beach and in Asheville. Both were much better than this one.
Love the southern menu and the casual fresh decor. Some items were a little spicy but overall very delicious and a good value. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and great service. The fact they serve brunch all day and every day is a bonus !
I have been to Tupelo a number of times and always enjoy the service and unique food. Unfortunately, this particular visit did not meet the standard in terms of service. We waited over an hour for food to arrive and even after it arrived, we did not get everything that was asked so, had to wait again. The food was definitely worth it and we wish the service had been better
We had a delicious brunch. It was very good. Service was very good. We will definitely go back. I especially liked the fried green tomatoes and the waffles
Really like Tupelo Honey. This was my third time there. The food was really good. My only thing was the noise level. Of course with more people, the louder it gets. Either way, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Cocktails and wine were sub par, but the fried chicken was excellent. Service was just slow enough to be annoying but not entirely problematic.
Claire was phenomenal! This was my third time here and it’s been a couple of years but the food was excellent
Everything was on point all of our food was good except the greens. Gotta be honest about it. But over all it was a great experience.
Thank you Open Table! I searched for brunch options after mid morning flight back to DC area. I found a ‘Daily all day brunch’ available at Tupelo Honey!! Tupelo did not disappoint with an updated twist to traditional southern menu. I had the Shoo Mercy; sweet potato spiced pancakes, honey dusted crispy fried chicken, two eggs, I chose scrambled, apple cider bacon topped with spiced pecans—delicious!! My son and hubby opted for ‘Old Skool’ Breakfast Bowl; fried eggs over easy, Parmesan & rosemary potatoes cracklin, cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, salsa, red pepper sauce over grits with goat cheese and side order of waffles topped with blueberries. They were very pleased with their choice! And the biscuits with blueberry jam and butter appetizer I highly suggest. Claire was delightful, attentive and made our brunch so pleasant. We chose to dine outside in the high 60°s The coffee and good food warmed our souls and left us greatly satisfied.
Was sat down Promptly but the table we were sat at was still dirty table. No server came up to my party for at least 30min. Another 30 min past and we finally have out water and out order was taken. Another hour past and we were only served drinks, ultimately had to ask for a Togo box as no food was served and we were seated for almost two hours while we watched parties being sat around us after we came in, being served, paying, and leaving while we were still waiting for our meal. Order was also incorrect but we did not see until we arrived home.
Very helpful wait staff but over all things kept running out. No straws, no ketchup in the bottles, no espresso for coffee. Just was a bit disappointing to keep here “no sorry we ran out of that or don’t have that”. The food was plentiful but lacked flavor. I would go back and give it another try on maybe a less busy day where they are stocked with things.
The food is good but takes a long time to get to the table. We had very basic food (salad, waffle, grits) and it took over 40 minutes to get to the table after ordering.
The food was mediocre, especially for the prices. Service was good.
Great food and drinks. Reasonable pricing. Service was decent though the restaurant was very busy. The main issues are that the lights in the dining room were bright and the music was very loud making it difficult to hear.
Best meal I’ve had in a while. Love their potato cracklin’s! I got a free dessert for my birthday, too!
I came by the restaurant to celebrate my moms 50th birthday this weekend. Little did I know Aubrey, one of the staff members was truly rude and unprofessional. I called early before opening to ask. Some questions about my reservation and she was completed frustrated and clearly not having a good day. She answer a few of my question in an aggressive way and before I come say thank you she hung up On me. I will not and will share this experience with my friends.
Lastly, the staff was amazing and one of the staff with braids or dreads was extremely a delight. The server was vey kind and welcoming. Just that phone call really upset me. I only attended because my mom wanted to try the food. Never again. Sorry, not sorry!
We had high expectations after reading the reviews. Appetizers such as cauliflower bites, fried pickles are nice. Service was slow though. We had to wait for our main dishes 30 minutes or more after we're all done with appetizers. Shrimp and Grits tasted bland. Fried chicken wasn't crispy and tender, but instead it has dough-like skin and dry meat.
Great staff and wonderful experience.
Really enjoyed my sweet potato pancakes but bacon and potatoes were cold. Host and my server were great, nice large open space and outdoor seating. Would def return!
We visited the restaurant around 6:30 on a Sunday and despite the low number of patrons, the service was rather slow. However, The waitress was very personable and friendly, which made the experience bareable. 2 of our orders were wrong (which we just excepted without complaint due to being hungry and having to wait so long for the food to come out). But then the sides were cold with exception of the fried chicken and Mac n cheese (which was yummy). We got desert to go (pecan pie) and it was fine. If I’m in the area I might give them another try, however I certainly would not make the drive from Md just to dine here.
Server threw me off a little, but overall it was a good experience.
I love Tupelo Honey's brunch. Always good food. Our server was not super attentive but she was sweet. I know it is busy as that time So I try to be more understanding. The food was delicious. Best chicken and waffles around!
sweet potato pancakes was all that!!.....GOOD
waffles and chicken with siracha sauce was good but their regular fry chicken was blan....needs more seasoning.
Overall it was a good breakfast meal.
I absolutely love this location! Kevin was our server in the outside seating area and was was great! The breakfast was amazing, the service and quality was phenomenal!
Our meals were really tasty, and we enjoyed some of Tupelo's specialties, including grits and waffles. The level of service was really good. This was our second visit to Tupelo Honey, and we will be back again!
Sadie was great. Excellent service and the food to match. Will definitely be going again
Great food, beer, cocktails. Nice ambiance. Friendly service.
Server could have been a bit more attentive. Otherwise food was amazing
Cannot say enough. Have never been absolutely floored by chicken and waffles- but OMG. decadence, texture changes, and delicious at a level few achieve. Absolutely clear why the chef is so recognized.
Ordered the farm fresh vegetable plate. The Mac and cheese was dried with hard noodles and it was literally two bites in regards to the amount. The green beans tasted watered down and bland. The biscuit was so salty. Our server took 30 minutes to order our food. Drinks came after the food. They appeared frazzled.
The food was good and came out fast. Nice veggie options
