I had a wonderful brunch at Tupelo Honey! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was chill and had a great vibe. Our waiter was super attentive and very helpful. Brunch is open until 4pm and it was not hard to book at reservation through open table. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Tupelo Honey was just okay. The ambiance reminds me of "instagram-worthy" stories of what one wishes brunch was like, but really it's nothing special. The service was just okay. We never had our water refilled, we waited about 35 minutes for our brunch entrees to arrive. They served us the appetizers twice (not complaining, but we felt a little awkward about it). We were told that bisquits were coming, so 20 minutes later, the 2 bisquits did actually arrive. The food at least looked and tasted fresh, however it lacked some flavor (their honey sriracha sauce made up for some of it). It was a pretty cute place, but the service and food just didn't wow us enough to want to go back.

The food was meh. The basics weren’t executed well. The service was slow. I feel like there’s a lot of potential here but they’re not paying attention to the details that make food and service enjoyable.

The best brunch we have had in a long time ! Started off with drinks and they were delicious....beer on tap and southern mimosa, yummy and thirst quenching. Our waitress was attentive and recommended some amazing dishes that were delicious. Our meals were fresh tasting and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed the southern biscuits with honey. We will definitely be back and recommend Tupelo Honey to others. Thank you!

Tupelo Honey is a beautiful location both indoor and outdoor for brunch. Everything was great but we went on a very cold morning right when it opened; the restaurant was uncomfortably cold as was the food that was served. While the service was great and the food tasty, it would be better a better experience to eat while warm with warm food.

This place used to be good. But it's star has faded. Completely. The food is average. Not creative or interesting like it used to be. Service was abysmal. And after a series of screw ups was non existent.

It was a second date. The server, Alexis was lovely. I think I would have enjoyed my breakfast bowl a bit more had the white of the eggs been cooked. It was much more loose than I usually like. The rest of the bowl was delicious. I do wish that the biscuits provided to the table also came with butter, even without they were very good. All in all I will be going back to try their shrimp and grits.

The staff was all very pleasant and friendly but they were clearly short staffed as everything was in disarray. We waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and couldn’t get a drink at the bar because we were told they were out of glassware. When we did get our table it took the waiter 10 minutes to show and then they ended up being out of 3 different beers, the house sangria and two different wines we tried ordering which meant our drinks came after appetizers. The food is tasty but the rest was a mess - I felt bad for the staff who kept having to apologize for everything.

We came on a Tuesday before seeing a movie. Got in for HH and 50% off salads. We tried a bunch of the snacks off the menu, and while they were ranging from okay to awesome, for the price, this was well worth the visit. 4 snacks, 2 beers each, and a salad all under 50 dollars with tip! And service was really friendly and kind. We will be back soon.

Took my sister on a Sister Date (she was impacted by the government shutdown), the brunch edition today. If you've never heard/not been and are in the mood for Southern cuisine, you must plan to visit Tupelo Honey (@tupelohoneycafe) in Arlington, VA. The food is absolutely phenomenal (and very filling). And Head Chef Lawrence is friendly and sweet. If you wind up there for brunch on a lazy Sunday, I urge you to try the Pecan Pie French Toast topped with Whipped Cream and Blueberries and Candied Pecans with fried chicken on the side. It was a sweet chunk of heaven on my plate. Oh and I can't forget the Avocado Toast with Sriracha Honey .

Great experience overall! It was definitely very crowded, so a bit noisy. And they do cram the tables in. But the service was great and the food was delicious. Perhaps a little pricey for what you get, but given the area, not surprising. Would definitely go again, if only because there were too many things I wanted to order that I still want to try.

We had an awful experience here. It was Saturday night, and the place was packed, with two engagement parties. The noise level was incredible. We were seated and ordered drinks and food at the same time. Our starter came immediately, long before our drinks. I finally got the waitperson's attention and she said the bar was working on them and we were "on the list.". We complained to the hostess, who told us that there were other people who had been waiting much longer for their drinks!!! 15 minutes later we still didn't have them and were midway through starters, when the very sullen hostess brought our main course. She seemed amazed that we didn't want them and asked snippily what she was supposed to do with them. When we said that she should take them back because we weren't finished with our starters and hadn't got our drinks, she stormed off. We finally got our drinks, then had to wait a long time for our food, which finally came...in huge portions. Finally, a manager came and she "got" it. She apologized very pleasantly for the situation and said everything was slow because of the engagement parties and the Saturday night crowd. She asked if we wanted something subtracted from our cost, and we declined (we had a gift certificate from our son) and gave us two cards for free happy hour small plates. From then on, the waitress (who now seemed scared) forgot my second drink. As we left, the hostess absolutely GLARED at us, but the manager sweetly said goodbye. We were probably the oldest people there, but that's no excuse for rushing us through the meal. The whole thing was absolutely terrible, and the food mostly tasteless. No way would I ever go back there. This kind of treatment is appalling.

Food was excellent. Service was okay. There are a lot servers and bus-ers walking around but not necessarily clear as to who is responsible for what or which areas. Our "designated" server had multiple tables and was working hard but with as many bodies around, it should have been easier to get follow-ups on drinks or a set of forks and knives.
