   Outstanding experience last night at Tupelo. From the minute we entered and were sat until the last bites & sips-- everything was fantastic. We both had the specials which were cooked to perfection. Our server along with the rest of the staff was very on-it and we were never left wanting for anything. We'll definitely be back!

   Lisa, our server, was wonderful. I had the filet. It was medium-rare and amazing. My son had the Cajun penne and loved it. Great place!

   We sat in a prime location, a table for two by the window, and enjoyed the warm atmosphere. Our meals were both delicious, great flavor, and something different that we would not make at home. A great way to make a birthday dinner and night out feel special.

    Loved our evening!! Marshall was a delight at the bar and Lisa was our very attentive server. Food was delicious including fresh fish. Then after dinner we listened to fabulous local musicians that were very talented. Anyone coming to Whitefish, Absolutely must visit Tupelo Grille!! Thank you!

    Had dinner at bar, fabulous bartender, food and ambiance. The steak tartar was the bomb, mushroom crustini delicious, entrees were both generous and very tasty. Would certainly go back.

    Attended on Saturday night - the food was excellent, however, the service was a little bit lacking. We had a late lunch so weren’t famished and declined an appetizer in favor of snacking on some bread prior to our meal. The three times promised complimentary bread bowl never did show up - which was rather irksome - an in general, there were moments where we felt a little forgotten. This is not a personal slight on our waiter - who was very pleasant - as it could have been just understaffing - but still, for a higher-end Whitefish restaurant, the service was less than stellar. Wine selection was decent and bread pudding desert was excellent. We’ve eaten here several times and this experience is typical - sometimes the wait staff knock it out and sometimes, they mail it in. Still, the food is wroth the uncertainty of service.

    Delicious dinner ! Great waitress who really helped make the total experience great ! ( just so sorry I can't remember her name...) I must say it was a bit loud. We were grateful to be in the back room where the music was a bit lower volume !

    We were seated within several minutes of our reservation time, served drinks and food in an acceptable time, and our waitress Jenny was fabulous. We were fans of Tupelo for the many years we lived in Whitefish. Great to see they haven't lost their touch.

    Such a great spot in Whitefish. Excellent Amercian classics, wonderful steak and seafood dishes, prepared with flair and care, but not pretentious or overly staged. Reasonable prices and excellent service from making reservations to tableside. Consistently good every time we're in Whitefish. Our favorite restaurant in town.

    Doing some skiing in Whitefish and this place was recommended. It did not disappoint. The Brussel Sprouts were the best I’ve had anywhere and I order these regularly. The Mac n Cheese with crab was delicious too. Dessert was worth the calories. We had the bread pudding and chocolate pudding. Both were decadent and not too sweet.

    I made a reservation for my husband and his ski buddies during their annual trip to Whitefish Mountain. One of the guys had never been to Tupelo Grille before, and he was so impressed he vowed to tell his wife at home all about it, and make a special trip back with her so she could try. A few in our party tried the nightly special of mahi-mahi, and they were extremely pleased. It did sound very delicious as the waitress was explaining it. I got a dish I have had before, which is one of my favorites because you get a sampling of several things, it is called the Zydeco Combo plate. My husband tried something I have never known him to eat before, which was the chicken and dumplings. I would say it was my least favorite of the items at our table, but it was still good and had an excellent sauce. All in all, we were all quite pleased with the dishes, and appreciated the wait staff (who had to put up with the guys jokes). The restaurant was extremely accommodating when I called at the last minute to see if they could add two more people to our reservation, and they did so without hesitation. Yes, this is still one of my favorite places to dine in Whitefish.

    Seated where constantly hit the back of my chair by waiters, noise level so high could hardly carry on conversation. Would not return and this is very rare for us.

    Service from wait staff was fantastic Soups took a long time to come out, apparently the kitchen fell behind. Gumbo was awful considering it’s New Orleans style. Otherwise food was very good. Highly recommend the cauliflower

    They didn't have key-lime pie, or gumbo with okra, or catfish fillets but the catfish strips with a remoulade sauce was very good.
